Climbing Hua Shan (华山) in Shaanxi Province (陕西), China
My experience climbing (the overrated) Hua Shan in Shaanxi, outside Xi'an. Far less dangerous than reputed. I did not have time to make it to the famous plank bridge, unfortunately, due to time constraints (I hiked both up and down the mountain, and did not stay overnight). I suspect it's a bit scary, but only dangerous to the extremely inept.
