UEFA CUP FINAL 2008
Part one of a two-part collection of video clips from the City of Manchester Stadium, 14 May2008; FC Zenit St.Petersburg v Glasgow Rangers. Contains images of the 2 massive 144-square metre vertical banner displays of both clubs. Then watch Part 2 containing the fireworks display.... Manchester alleges to be the third most visited destination in the United Kingdom and can be traced back to the Roman settlement 'Mamucium'. It is the third-youngest venue for the UEFA Cup Final: the foundation stone for the Stadium being laid in December 1999. The City of Manchester Stadium won the 2004 Royal Institute of British Architects' Inclusive Design award. Wikiepedia (Sep 2009) states that Rangers Football Club are an association football team based in Glasgow, Scotland, who currently play in the Scottish Premier League. The club is nicknamed the Gers, the Teddy Bears (from the rhyming slang for the same) and the Light Blues, and the fans are known to each other as bluenoses (amongst other names!). They are sometimes referred to as Glasgow Rangers, although the word Glasgow does not form part of the club's official title. The club is incorporated as The Rangers Football Club plc and home is the all-seated 51082-capacity Ibrox Stadium in south-west Glasgow. Rangers have won 52 domestic league titles, more than any other team in the world. They have won the Scottish League Cup 25 times — more than any other Scottish club — and the Scottish Cup 33 times. In 1961 Rangers were the first ...

ANOTHER VIDEO RUINED BY YOUTUBE AND THEIR UNAUTHORISED INSERTION OF ADVERTS ON MY VIDEO, Manchester and the Final; a day and evening in Manchester captured in pictures.
