The colours are dominated by black and white with drawings, paintings, marble sculptures, and even video. It is the work of Moscow based artist Aidan Salakhova. She depicts women using Oriental stereotypes such as long black veils in an attempt to address political, social, psychological, and spiritual dimensions in both the Islamic and Orthodox worlds. "This exhibition is about a woman, about her inner world. At first glance it may seem that it is about an Oriental woman, but it's just about a woman. And I chose a veil as just some kind of a beautiful shape and a form that presents some sort of self-censorship that a woman puts upon herself in our patriarchal world and doesn't completely understand what her wishes are and where her comfort zone is," explained Aidan Salakhova. Salakhova divided the exhibition into three sections: the body, the hands, and the objects. The idea is to depict systems that manipulate and exploit the female body as an object of voyeurism, pleasure and narcissism. Although Muslim themes are clearly identified, the artist insisted that she only used the images because of the strong feelings of mystery and closeness they evoked. The End of Medical Freedom in America - A Doctor's Lament
Stef, I wanted to write to convey some aspects of the influence of the government control of the medical field here in the US, from the perspective of a practicing Emergency Medicine specialist, and its impact upon my life. First, let me confirm what you have stated on many occasions about the shackles of professional licensure requirements. My training required a 4 year college degree, 4 years of medical school, and 4 years of residency for my specialty. In addition to the massive financial cost of the didactic requirements, my residency training basically was indentured servitude, involving 40 hour long spans of continuous work, 120 hour work weeks, extreme sleep deprivation, being absent from my wife and children, not to mention the critical nature of the work itself involving life and death decisions under the conditions of extreme exhaustion. As compensation, I received a salary equivalent to the hourly wage of a fast food worker. I do have massive regret, for having not been more physically present when my two sons were young children. Fortunately, my wife of now 27 years (a nurse), and I made the conscious decision back then, to not put our children in daycare, and she was present for my kid's upbringing in the home. I can't tell you how grateful I am for that decision. However, I do have guilt for my short temper when I was at home. Although I very rarely spanked my children, (which I now realize was morally reprehensible) ,I did, at times snap and yell, and ...

In February 2011, the five times world champions Fred Fugen and Vince Reffett from Soul Flyers were invited to Melbourne to provide advanced 3D coaching to some of Australia's leading Skydive athlete talent.
The goal of the Training camp and the production were:
1. To increase participation in our sport.
2. Provide greater pathways for our elite athletes.
Hopefully this video will give all that view it a different perspective of what skydiving can offer. Hopefully it will provoke some necessity to learn to fly in our wonderful three-dimensional environment- The Sky!

I have been filming the Skyliners on an incredible exploration into the world of free flight.
Tancrède, Julien, Seb and Antoine are pioneers in ‘highlining’ - a vertiginous combination of climbing, slackline and tightrope walking.
We travelled from our home in Chamonix to our training ground in the Verdon gorge, testing the limits for our ultimate goal...
We rigged highlines on the skyscrapers of Paris, and finally came to the spectacular cliffs and fjords of Norway.

He is shocked to discover that the humans have been stealing and eating the bee's honey for centuries. He ultimately realizes that his true calling in life is to set the world right by suing the human race. That is until the ensuing chaos upsets the very balance of nature. It is up to Barry to prove that even a little bee can spell big changes in the world.
