Temporary Hair Color - Fast, Fun & Easy!
In this video, I show and describe the convenience of using temporary hair color. The color I am wearing is auburn by Jerome Russell. I purchased this at my local beauty supply for $4. Please be advised that this is a "temporary" color and is not good if you are looking for something long term. Also, this may stain your hands, combs, brushes, and clothing so be careful. This color washes out of your hair with shampoo. *This product can be purchased at www.Clairhair.com. Type in 'Jerome Russell' in the search box. Enjoy!

"The best photographs move you—emotionally, intellectually, spiritually. There's almost a visceral reaction to a really striking photograph that communicates on all those levels." Joe McNally has been described as "perhaps the most versatile photojournalist working today," a distinction earned for his ability to capture compelling images in locations as diverse as an operating room, the top of the Empire State Building and the cockpit of a jet aircraft. Noted for his technical mastery, what makes him unique is his ability to create and imaginatively render "the big idea"—the unique or startling concept that frames a single image or a long-term project. He has been published in virtually every major magazine, including Life, Newsweek, Time and Sports Illustrated (where he was a contract photographer for six years) and is a recipient of the Alfred Eisenstadt Award for outstanding magazine photography. Fire Marshall Bill Honeymoon Cruise In Living Color
Fire Marshal Bill Burns is one of the most popular fictional characters to emerge from the sketch comedy show In Living Color. He was portrayed by actor Jim Carrey and appeared in 10+ sketches. He is the only character to appear consistently throughout all 5 seasons of ILC. A common sketch would be for Fire Marshal Bill to appear unexpectedly then show how unsafe ordinary activities were by showing himself engaging in off-the-wall, dangerous activities which he responded with "LEMME SHOW YA SOMETHIN!!!!" Examples included where he warned against drinking cocktails on a cruise liner because it would be dangerous if one was holding a vial of hydrochloric acid in the other hand. The climax of the sketch occurred when he would perform the most destructive act involving explosives which would inevitably destroy the set, only to have people running for their lives and his response '"Do not panic, I am a fire marshal!" before the expected destruction. Despite sometimes losing limbs(in one sketch, only his head was left) Fire Marshal Bill was never killed, as he was then seen among those forced out of the destroyed structure. His immortality also lends itself to long life as he apparently performed the same standard of service as a fire marshall on the Titanic as in his own words "Unsinkable? I showed them". The character is widely known to have been modeled as a caricature of Mr. Rogers. The idea was suggested to Carrey by longtime friend and fellow actor Daniel Lichtblau. "Fire ...

men on film in living color
season 2 ep 1 Men on Film (Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier) - In this parody of Siskel & Ebert, a pair of extremely effeminate gay men, Blaine Edwards and Antoine Merriweather, review films completely based on their potential for homoerotic content. Variations of this sketch include Men on Books, Men on Television, Men on Fitness, Men on Vacation, Men on Art, Men on Football and Men on Men. It was the source of many popular catchphrases such as, "Hated It!" (used for any film/book/program centered on one or more female characters), "Fish!", "My second favorite form of liquid protein", "Three words - fa - bu - lous!" and "the yet unheard of Zorro snap, in Z formation!" (almost every sketch had a sassy variation of finger-snapping). In a two-part, season cliffhanger sketch, Blaine gets hit on the head by a stage light and gets a sort of amnesia, making him straight and conventionally "macho". The characters were resurrected for an episode of SNL hosted by Damon Wayans. The theme song to the pair's "show" was "It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls.

Mani Nasry an exceptionally talented filmmaker, actor and artist with a sophisticated breadth of education, skills, experience, and professional accomplishments. He trained as an actor and director in New York with Salem Ludwig and with Donna DeMatteo for playwriting. For Mani, the decision to work in the film industry guided his academic decisions from an early age. He attended a Toronto high school renowned for excellence in the arts, and was accepted into one of the highly competitive film program at Ryerson university. It is notable that he went to Ryerson with an already well-established career in theatre, film, television and commercial work, and a range of multi-faceted achievements including producing, cinematography, casting, writing, directing, acting, and editing. On his own he added stints in New York and Los Angeles with leading acting teachers, as well as learning the grace and style of many forms of dance and athletics. With courses perceptively, he has also recognized the importance of acquiring an understanding of the business side of the industry, and the varied aspects of technology and production. There are some people clearly born to follow the path they have chosen from the start. Mani Nasry has the passion to succeed, the curiosity and ingenuity required to lead and collaborate in an industry known for its impact and appeal, and the strength of character and work ethic to immerse himself in finding and telling an unforgettable story.

Worlds: The Kepler Planet Candidates
This animation shows the 2299 high-quality (multiple transits), non-circumbinary transiting planet candidates found by NASA's Kepler mission so far. These candidates were detected around 1770 unique stars, but are animated in orbit around a single star. They are drawn to scale with accurate radii (in r / r* ), orbital periods, and orbital distances (in d / r*). They range in size from 1/3 to 84 times the radius of Earth. Colors represent an estimate of equilibrium temperature, ranging from 4,586 C at the hottest to -110 C at the coldest - red indicates warmest, and blue / indigo indicates coldest candidates.
Watching in full screen + HD is recommended, so you can see even the smallest planets!
The animation is rendered with a time-step of 30 minutes, equal to the long-cadence time sample of the Kepler observatory. Three white rings illustrate the average orbital distances of Mercury, Venus, and Earth on the same scale.
When the system is animated edge-on, it is clear that there is no time during which the sample of stars the Kepler spacecraft is observing does not contain a planet transiting a star. In fact, on average there are dozens of transits occurring amongst the Kepler sample at any given instant.
The Kepler observatory has detected a multitude of planet candidates orbiting distant stars. The current list contains 2321 planet candidates, though some of these have already been flagged as likely false-positives or contamination from binary stars. This animation does not contain circumbinary planets or planet candidates where only a single transit has been observed, which is why "only" 2299 are shown.
I have illustrated the planet candidates as if they orbit a single star. Using a transit lightcurve, a planet's distance from a star and its radius are both measured in terms of the host stars' radius, and those relationships are preserved here. This means that for two planets of equal size, if one orbits a larger star it will be drawn smaller here. Similarly, because the orbital distances scale with the host stars' sizes, some planets orbit faster than others at a given distance from the star in the animation (when in reality, planets on circular orbits around a given star always orbit at the same speed at a given distance). These faster-moving planets are orbiting denser stars.
A fraction of these candidates will likely be ruled out as false positives as time goes on, while the remainder stand to be confirmed as real planets by follow-up analysis. For example, the large orange object in a very close-in orbit was shown to be a background eclipsing binary blend by http://arxiv.org/abs/1207.2481
At the beginning of the animation, the grid of rectangles that briefly appears represents the focal plane array of CCD detectors onboard Kepler.

Move
Move is a technology garment designed by Electricfoxy that guides you toward optimal performance and precision in movement in an ambient, precise, and beautiful way. From daily activities to sports activities to expressive movement, it provides a softer, poetic, and more personal approach to physical performance that helps you eleviate incorrect physical movements, which can lead to chronic pain or even long-term damage. The more precise you can move, the faster you improve your fitness and overall health.
The Move experience consists of a wearable technology garment and mobile app. The garment includes 4 stretch and bend sensors located in the front, back and sides. Together, they read your body’s position and muscle movement, assess whether it is correct, and provide real-time feedback to correct it through haptic feedback components located in the hips and shoulders. A mobile app allows you to assess, manage and customize your experience.

Marilyn Monroe: The Red Velvet
Dita Daniel is about to recreate Marilyn Monroe's first photo series, the one that launched her career, as well as Playboy Magazine's. The result will be a documentary film and an exhibition that will be presented in Israel and around the world. Camera-front nudity is not new to Daniel, artist, model, actress and homeopathic healer, who uses her body as a basis for her paintings By Ran Ziv
On my way to the interview with Adit (Dita) Daniel (43), I heard on the radio a program dedicated to the concept of a "woman". How symbolic that this concept was to be the very focus of our conversation: Daniel, an artist, an actress and a colorful model, who also deals with homeopathic healing, Tai Chi and Chi Kong, is soon about to cope with the image of the mythological woman, Marilyn Monroe. Nearly 60 years after Monroe's first nude photo series, which launched her career and acted as a trigger for the sexual revolution of the 50's in the USA and across the world, Daniel will recreate the "Red Velvet" series. The shooting will take place in the very same studios, by the son of the original photographer, Tom Kelley Jr. The recreation will be a part of a documentary film that Daniel is preparing and the photo series will be presented afterwards in exhibitions in Israel and in California.
Marilyn Monroe's Picture
At age 6 Daniel saw Marilyn Monroe's photo for the first time and was fascinated. It was the photo called "Position No. 1" which also appeared on the cover of Playboy Magazine's first issue ever, in 1953. "She mesmerized me" says Daniel. At the time, her parents ran a prestigious women's clothing shop in Holon, named after her mother, Nina. "Mother was painting, sewing and designing", she says, "so there were always magazines in the house with pretty models, and I would sit and leaf through them for hours. I liked the beauty, the colorfulness and the harmony". And then she saw Marilyn Monroe.
When Daniel was 10 years old, her father, Moshe, an artistic carpenter, received a nude painting from one of his customers, painter Ester Peretz-Arad: "It was the first nude in our house. I realized immediately that the language of nudity was the language of art." At age 6 Daniel had been diagnosed as a gifted child in the areas of art. Following the diagnosis her parents sent her to study in a special art classes for gifted children in the Tel-Aviv Museum.
From there she continued on to “Thelma Yelin”, High School for the Arts.
"They had great expectations of me, and I also possessed a lot of curiosity and inquisitiveness. On one hand, I was shy, introspective, ugly and fat. I began suffering from eating disorders at a young age. On the other hand, I posed nude for the first time at age 14. I wanted to study art from both ends, both as an artist and as a model."
Daniel continued to meet with nudity along her career, and this interaction helped crystallize her philosophy, related to Adam and Eve and their banishment from The Garden of Eden. "I was bothered by the existence of evil in the world, and especially by the question of why the woman is being punished until today. It seems we are to blame for what happened to mankind. I could not accept the idea that our whole existence as women is the embodiment of evil and that it is all cast upon us.
I, for one, feel wholesome and that there is no evil in me. So I took my clothes off and started taking photos of me. I feel too transparent as it is. I felt I didn't need dividers between me and the rest of the world, and certainly not between myself and God. I am not religious, but I do believe a high-level intelligence exists in the cosmos, not necessarily a divinity according to Judaism."
Marilyn Monroe's Energy
Daniel began painting Eve, Venus and Aphrodite. In her eyes they, just like Marilyn Monroe, represent the progression of the same woman and symbolize unconditional love, beauty and harmony. In her opinion, they are also related to the "Golden Section", that mystical mathematical relationship (of about 1.618) used in art and in architecture since the time of Classic Greece. Many see in its very existence proof that the world is a planned act of creation. Some refer to it, since the Renaissance period, as the "Divine Proportion".
She considers herself as a Renaissance-world painter. "In those days, a painter could also be a doctor and a poet. They understood that in the mind of an artist like Leonardo Da Vinci or Michelangelo could reside several different skills simultaneously. The thread uniting all those skills is art."
Why should a nude soul be painted?
"The by-product reaction to art is healing. It is the soul passing. Our aspiration is to return to Eden. The original sin is referring to the shell, to nudity. In my paintings there is no evil, but reality as it was before sin and guilt and sexual lust, before the appearance of destructive lust."

Copic Marker Drawing: Character Design
This picture was done for the color illustration assignment in my Character and Object Design class, spring term 2012. The entire term we had to work in a different art style of our choosing. I used Tangled as my style, which was not as easy as I thought it would be... the way bodies are drawn differ from my art style a lot more than I thought they would, so it ended up being a nice challenge. We had to create 6 different characters for the class (a man, woman, child, pet, villain and monster), the woman was my favorite design from the term, so I decided to use her design for the color illustration as well as the maquette that we had to build for the final project. I'm not terribly fond of how this picture turned out, to be honest... there are a bunch of issues I see with it... the only thing I really like is how the coloring turned out... but I filmed it so I might as well post it. In other news, my Q&A; video will be posted soon (as well as a room tour and a few more coloring videos and a new workspace tour, since I got a new desk and everything is different) and I've already got a ton of questions from everyone (thanks!) if you have any more questions, feel free to send me a message and I'll add them to the video! :DI tried to get as many videos done (or partially done) as I could during my break so I would have stuff to post for the first part of summer term. Thanks for watching! Please comment, rate and subscribe!! You can also follow me on Tumblr: misskerriej.tumblr ...
