Ludowa Nuta Dożynki '10 Kaszub Song
Ludowa Nuta performing the well-known Kashubian song called "Kashubian Notes", a song used to teach Kashubian children the alphabet. Kashubs are an ethnic group living in Poland that has its own language similar to Polish. It's estimated that 50000 people speak Kashubian in Poland. Notable settlements outside of Poland are in Minnesota (Winona) and Ontario, Canada (Renfrew County). The traditional capital of Kashubia has been the city of Gdańsk. Learn more about Kashubs at: en.wikipedia.org Here are the lyrics to the song sung by Ludowa Nuta: Kaszebsczi Note To je krótczi, to je dłudżi To cesarza stolëca Tp są basë, to są skrzypczi To oznaczô szlachcëca To je rydl, to je tycz To są chojnë, widłë gnojnë To je krzëwé, to je prosté to je osné/tylni koło wozne To są hôczi, to są ptôczi To są prusczi półtrojôczi To je całé, to je pół to je oseł/klëka, a to wół To są bulwë, to są wrëczi To je naszô biôłó marchéw. Slavic Countries

Take this Walcz
Walcz (pronounced "vouch") is the name of a pleasant Pomeranian town derived from the Kashubian word Wolcz and once called Deutsch Krone. From their we drive on to observe some more of the idyll that is the golden Polish autumn in the rolling forest roads of Pomerania. The precise co-ordinates of the lovely woodland restaurant shown here are as follows: geo:lat=53.422141645164224 geo:lon=16.387996673583984 I definitely recommend it.
