Quran Ke Tarikhi (Historical) Maqamat - PART 2
Prophet Hood AS was sent to the Aad people.Hood (Eber of the Bible) is said to be the grandson of Arphazed, the grandson of Nooh .It is said that from amongst the Aad people, only 70 persons had accepted the Message of Hood and they all were saved from the disaster. It is their descendants who, later on, came to be known as the Second Aad or the Samood. The tomb of Prophet Hood is still traditionally shown in Hadhramaut about 90 miles north of Muk'alla. There are still ruins an inscription of the Aad time in the neighbourhood. There is an annual pilgrimage to the tomb of Hood in the month of Rajab.

After the destruction of the Ad, the tribe of Thamud succeeded them in power and glory. They also fell to idol-worshipping. As their material wealth increased so, too, did their evil ways while their virtue decreased. Like the people of Ad, they erected huge buildings on the plains and hewed beautiful homes out of the hills. Tyranny and oppression became prevalent as evil men ruled the land. So Allah sent unto them His Prophet Salih (PBUH), a man from among them. His name was Salih Ibn Ubeid, Ibn Maseh, Ibn Ubeid, Ibn Hader, Ibn Thamud, Ibn Ather, Ibn Eram, Ibn Noah. He called his people to worship Allah alone, and to not associate partners with Him. While some of them believed him, the majority of them disbelieved and harmed him by both words and deeds. Salih directed them: O my people! Worship Allah, you have no other Ilah (god) but Him. (Ch 11:61) All were destroyed before they realized what was happening. As for the people who believed in the message of Salih (PBUH), they were saved because they had left the place.

Hazrat Looth (AS) was the nephew of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). He was also the prophet of Allah. When Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) left his country, his nephew also accompanied him, He was sent to Syria to show the Right Path to a people there who lived near a small ocean called the Dead Sea. This sea is several thousands of feet below the sea level. Hazrat Looth (AS) told first these people some salient features of Islam. He said: [1] O people, your Lord is the one who created you. You should, therefore, worship Him and follow His orders only, [2] Brothers, do everything according to the will of Allah and always fear Him lest you should earn His displeasure, [3] to please Allah, do what I ask you to do and follow me, [4] I do not demand anything from you as price of my work. Allah ill reward me and I do not have to take anything from you. After these sermons, Hazrat Looth (AS) tried to prevent these people from the dirty practice of sodomy (sexual intercourse with males) which they were addicted to. Before those people, none was aware of this thing and they were the first to do this shameless act. Allah uses His angels to implement His orders. These angels run the entire administration of the world and bring Allahs bounties as well as His wrath for the people. This time they came in the form of beautiful boys. And what the bad elements of those people did with them proved beyond doubt that they could not be reformed. Hazrat Looth (AS) once again told them everything but they were <b>...</b>

Yusuf lived all his life confronting schemes made by the people closest to him. His brothers plotted to kill him, but they amended it to exiling him. This happened to him while he was a boy. He was sold into the slave market in Egypt, where he was bought for a nominal sum. Then he fell victim to the attempted seduction by a great man's wife who, when her wish was foiled, sent him to prison, where he remained for some time. In spite of all of this, he at length approached close to the Egyptian throne and became the king's chief minister. He then began his call to Allah from the position of the ruling authority. Prophet Yusuf (AS) was jailed under the orders of the Aziz of Egypt. When his companion in the jail was being released Prophet Yusuf (AS) requested him to recommend his matter to the Aziz so that he too be released. At this Hazrat Jibraeel (AS) appeared in the jail and made him look at the floor of the jail. When Prophet Yusuf (AS) did so he could see the bottoms of the earth and sea. He also saw in the bottom of the earth an ant with a particle of grain in its mouth. Jibraeel said, "Do you think that your Allah who does not forget even this ant at the bottom of the earth and feeds it, would let you go out of His mind?" "Now for this impatience of yours you are ordered to remain in jail for seven more years." Hazrat Shoaib (as), the prophet of Allah, was approximately 250 years old. On Mount Sinai, God gave Musa the good tidings that He would grant him his brother Harun as a companion. Then, God reminded Musa the blessings He previously granted to him: We were gracious to you another time when We revealed to your mother: "Place him into the chest and throw it into the sea and the sea will wash it up on the shore, where an enemy of Mine and his will pick it up." I showered you with love from Me so that you would be brought up under My supervision. When your sister went and said, "Shall I direct you to someone who will take care of him?" that was how We returned you to your mother so that she might delight her eyes and not be grieved. You killed a man and We rescued you from trouble and tested you with many trials. You stayed some years among the people of Midian. Then you arrived at the pre-ordained time, Musa! I have chosen you for Myself. (Qur'an, 20: 37-41) Also in the verses quoted above, there is mention of the fact that Musa's journey to the holy valley of Tuwa was in conformity with his destiny: Then you arrived at the pre-ordained time, Musa! (Qur'an, 20: 40) It is God's prophets who best understood the fact that everything takes place within the decree predetermined by God. The Prophet Muhammad (saas), in whom there is an excellent example for all believers, said: If any adversity comes to you, do not say: "If I had only acted in such-and-such a way, it would have been such-and-such;" but instead, say: "God has decreed (it) and what He willed <b>...</b>

The base of pyramids are usually quadrilateral or trilateral (but generally may be of any polygon shape), meaning that a pyramid usually has four or five faces. This allowed early civilizations to create stable monumental structures. For thousands of years, the largest structures on Earth were pyramids: first the Red Pyramid in the Dashur Necropolis and then the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only remaining Wonder of the World. The largest pyramid ever built, by volume, is the Great Pyramid of Cholula, in the Mexican state of Puebla. This pyramid is considered the largest monument ever constructed anywhere in the world, and is still being excavated. The greatest pyramids (or most well known ones) are in Egypt but there have been many other pyramids all over the world but none quite so big. According to Bedouin tradition, this is the mountain where God gave laws to the Israelites. However, the earliest Christian traditions place this event at the nearby Mount Serbal, and a monastery was founded at its base in the 4th century; it was only in the 6th century that the monastery moved to the foot of Mount Catherine, following the guidance of Josephus's earlier claim that Sinai was the highest mountain in the area. Jebel Musa, which is adjacent to Mount Catherine, was only equated with Sinai, by Christians, after the 15th century. Also, for Muslims, there is a chapter named after this mountain in the Quran, entitled, Surah-Tin; surah/chapter 95. In which God promises by the fig, the olive, by the Mount Sinai and the city of Makkah. Orthodoxies settled down on this mountain in the III century, Georgians moved in Sinai in VI century, although Georgian colony was formed in the IX century. Georgians erected their own temples in this area. The construction of one of the temples was connected with the name of David The Builder, who contributed to erecting of temples not only in Georgia but abroad too. The construction of the temple on Sinai Mountain was not only religious step; furthermore it had a great political and cultural meaning. Prophet Musa (as), in the course of propagating his religion, had to face severe adversity and hardship from the likes of Firoun, Balam, Baoora and even his cousin Qaroon. Qaroon was immensely rich and possessed so much wealth that several strong youths were required to carry just the keys of his treasury. He was one of the high ranking and influential nobles, who used to oppress his inferiors. Allah, the Exalted in Greatness, says Said one who had knowledge of the book : I will Bring it to thee within The twinkling of an eye [27:40] The story of the Prophet Solaiman PBUH and Balqees the Queen of Sabaa and the matter of transferring the throne appears to be a kind of magic. Because how can a creature get the throne of the Queen of Sabaa from a distance of thousands of kilometers just within a fraction of seconds. But modern science assumes that it is possible if we take into consideration our scientific achievement in the 20th century.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque was originally a small prayer house built by the Rashidun caliph Umar, but was rebuilt and expanded by theUmmayad caliph Abd al-Malik and finished by his son al-Walid in 705 CE.[6] After an earthquake in 746, the mosque was completely destroyed and rebuilt by the Abbasid caliph al-Mansur in 754, and again rebuilt by his successor al-Mahdi in 780. Another earthquake destroyed most of al-Aqsa in 1033, but two years later the Fatimid caliph Ali az-Zahir built another mosque which has stood to the present-day. During the periodic renovations undertaken, the various ruling dynasties of the Islamic Caliphate constructed additions to the mosque and its precincts, such as its dome, facade, its minbar, minarets and the interior structure. When the Crusaders captured Jerusalem in 1099, they used the mosque as a palace and church, but its function as a mosque was restored after its recapture by Saladin Ayubi. More renovations, repairs and additions were undertaken in the later centuries by the Ayyubids, Mamluks, the Supreme Muslim Council, and Jordan. Today, the Old City is under Israeli sovereignty, but the mosque remains under the administration of the Palestinian-led Islamic. Mustafa Kamil
Muṣṭafā Kāmil Pasha () (August 14, 1874, Cairo, Egypt – February 10, 1908, Cairo) was an Egyptian journalist and political figure.
Biography
The son of an Egyptian army officer, Kamil was trained as a lawyer at the French law school in Cairo and the Law Faculty at the University of Toulouse in France. He began his career as an Egyptian nationalist by collaborating with the French, the Ottoman sultan, and Khedive Abbas Hilmi II. As he matured, however, he gradually grew more independent of outside backers and appealed mainly to the Egyptian people to demand the withdrawal of the British army of occupation from Egypt. He also called on Khedive Abbas to grant constitutional government to his subjects.He was strongly backed by one of Egypt's nobles "Pasha" Mohammad Farid, who spent his last penny on the Egyptian independence case even after Mustafa's death - as he became the leader of the National Party - and he was the one who made it possible for Kamil to visit France and Britain.
In 1900, Kamil founded the newspaper Al-Liwa' ("The Standard") as a platform for his views and utilized his skill as both a journalist and lawyer. He also founded a boys' school open to Egyptian Muslims, Christians, and Jews. His cause was aided by an atrocity known as the Dinshaway Incident (June 1906), in which four peasants were hastily tried and hanged for having assaulted uniformed British officers who were shooting pigeons in their village. He founded the National Party in December 1907, two months before his death. His funeral was the occasion for a massive demonstration of popular grief. He is remembered as a fervent patriot and an articulate advocate of Egyptian independence.The mausoleum of Mustafa Kamil built in 1949-53 close to the Citadel of Cairo in neo-Mamluk style is now open to the public as a museum and holds in a side room a display of memorabilia related to him.
Fazlur Rahman Malik argues that even though he was necessarily secular, his nationalism was inspired by an Islamic past. This appears to be the natural conclusion as Egypt had remained under the Islamic Caliphate system for centuries before. The British often accused him of advocating pan-Islam, and it is well known that he supported the Ottoman sultan against the Egyptian government (and its British rulers) in the dispute over Taba in May 1906.
