On Friday, July 29 legendary Philadelphia-based producer, DJ, and remixer King Britt stopped by Dubspot with singer and collaborator Rucyl Mills for a music production and performance workshop with Ableton Live. The duo performs live and release music under the name Saturn Never Sleeps, and this video, they share insights into the recording process for their debut album Yesterday's Machine, which is out now on their own SNS imprint. The bulk of the record was constructed in a live, improvised, one-take fashion, combining the duo's intuitional musical sense. The two point to the work of avant-garde jazz revolutionary Sun-Ra as a major source of inspiration, drawing from his value in art's of-the-moment process. I believe that we all know someone who feels this way, asks these questions, and hold themselves in a low state of moral. Self love is a start that many find it hard to do whether they share this sentiment aloud or not. Heartbroken as friends and those around seem to share their happiness and accomplishments with someone while one feels that one is all alond in the world. Breathe in, take in the sun, hear the birds sing, and be Blessed for the day in which one is part of. Love is not something that has to be physically present, as it is within us all. This Scene expresses- FEAR- noun: an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight). noun: a feeling of anxiety and agitation caused by the presence or nearness of danger, evil, pain, etc.; timidity; dread; terror; fright; apprehension. Terrify not your soul with vain imaginary fears. By realizing that you are the one feeding the fire, you can start to take control of your fears. Panic is a vicious cycle that can be broken. When you start to have irrational fears you need to take action quick. Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing, which you think you cannot do." We must stop running away from things that frighten us, face our fears head on, and do the thing we fear the most. Most of the time we'll find out that the "thing" was not that scary after all. Our imaginations had behaved like a super fertilizer and grown a grotesque monstrosity in our minds. Remember, our imaginations are incredibly powerful. They can work against us, creating horrible images that leave us paralyzed with fear and they can also work for us, building a world where everything we do is an adventure, a miracle. And the most amazing thing is that we hold the power to control our minds - we allow fear to dominate our lives or we choose to dominate fear. Those are our only two choices.

Draw on the Plinth
The boys read the instructions on the page, which was to draw something old on one plinth and something new on the other.
Harry chose to draw a two headed tyrannosaurus (old) with an "Ogres' head on his bottom", and Hamish drew a Nasa spaceman (new) with a 'triple times" sword.
They drew and talked for 1 hour, their characters metamorphosing frequently and the story climaxing in the Big Bang theory. Shame we couldn't make a feature film!
