Kanye West - College Dropout (Full Album) (2004)
(This album has been pitched by just half-a-step to avoid copyright claims.) The College Dropout was arguably the most important hip-hop album of the 00s. Released when Jay-Z retired, Eminem took hiatus and when hip-hop was beginning to sound very generic and stale. This album brought back a spark to hip-hop as acknowledged by several publications -- as well as the Grammy Awards which awarded the album with it's Best Rap Album of the year award. Rolling Stones voted this album the best album of the year (2004), likewise The Village Voice's 'Jazz & Pop' critics poll; Time named the album as one of the one-hundred greatest albums of all time; Entertainment Weekly listed The College Dropout #4 on it's list of the greatest albums of the last 25 years; and Rolling Stones listed The College Dropout #10 on it's list of the one hundred greatest albums of the decade (2000s). 0:00 - Intro, 0:19 - We Don't Care, 4:19 - Graduation Day, 5:41 - All Falls Down, 9:19 - I'll Fly Away, 10:33 - Spaceship, 15:58 - Jesus Walks, 19:11 - Never Let Me Down (Feat. Top 10 Hip Hop Albums of the 90s
This is my personal opinion of the top 10 Hip Hop albums of the 90s. I base my choices on production and lyrics, not record sales or popularity. Thanks for all the responses. A lot of you have questioned some of my choices and I respect differences in opinion. Ready To Die, Reasonable Doubt, and 36 Chambers are the three albums I see a lot of people questioning why they are not on the list. 1. Ready To Die: Although this album is not on the list I did purchase it the week it dropped and I still love it today. If you were of club age at that time you already know that every DJ played cuts from this album every 10 minutes. Plus the radio DJ's would not give it a rest either. It got to the point you could turn to three different radio stations and hear "Big Poppa" playing. Then everyone in your building was playing the album, on the train, in cars. Basically I overdoes on the album. Puffy being in every video didn't help either. 2. Reasonable Doubt: This album was definitely a banger and I especially loved "Regrets". The biggest problem with the album is Jay tried to make another Illmatic. Illmatic had a great influence on Jay and he tried to make a street hustling - crime scene - cocaine on the triple beam, type album and Nas had already closed that chapter. There were other albums out at the time that were more unique. Maybe on a top 25 list it would have made it. By the way, Reasonable Doubt is Jay's hottest joint. 3. 36 Chambers: I don't really have a good excuse for not ...

The Notorious BIG - Life After Death (Disc One - Full Album) (1997)
One of the only rap albums to go diamond, Life After Death is certainly a milestone album. The Source magazine has this rated as the eighth greatest hip-hop album of all time and Rolling Stones magazine listed this album as the 483rd greatest album of all time; Ego trip also ranks this album as the #1 hip-hop album released from 1980-1998. In my opinion Big sounds a little hazy on the mic but this is still one of my favorite albums of all time and the third greatest Double album of all time after All Eyez on Me & Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. 0:00 - Life After Death (Intro), 1:40 - Somebody's Gotta Die, 6:05 - Hypnotize, 9:57 - Kick in the Door, 14:43 - Fuck You Tonight, 20:28 - Last Day, 24:48 - I Love the Dough, 30:00 - What's Beef?, 35:16 - BIG Interlude, 36:04 - Mo Money Mo Problems, 40:21 - Niggas Bleed, 45:12 - I Got a Story to Tell

Nas' Illmatic Documentary
Illmatic is the debut album of American rapper Nas, released April 19, 1994 on Columbia Records. Following his signing to Columbia with the help of MC Serch, recording sessions for the album took place during 1992 to 1993 at Chung King Studios, D&D Recording, Battery Studios, and Unique Recording Studios in New York City. Its production was handled by Nas, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, LES, and DJ Premier. Stylistically a hardcore hip hop album, Illmatic features Nas's multi-syllabic internal rhyme patterns expressing inner city lyrical themes and narratives based on his native Queensbridge, New York. Upon its release, the album debuted at number 12 on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 59000 copies in its first week. However, its initial sales fell below expectations and its five singles failed to achieve significant chart success. While it experienced initial low sales, Illmatic received generally positive reviews from most music critics upon its release and earned praise for its production and Nas's lyricism. On January 17, 1996, the album was certified gold in sales by the Recording Industry Association of America, and in 2001, it earned platinum certification after sales of one million copies in the United States. Since its initial reception, the album has been recognized by writers and music critics as a landmark album in East Coast hip hop. It contributed to the regional scene's artistic renaissance in New York, while marking an influential, stylistic change ...

College Boyz - Victim Of The Ghetto - 1991
Download Videos in HQ Here goldeneravideos.blogspot.com The College Boyz were an American hip hop group composed of ROM, Squeak, Humphry and DJ Cue. They were signed to both Virgin Records and Capitol Records. Originally calling themselves RMG, the group changed their name to College Boyz upon moving to Los Angeles. They released their debut , Radio Fusion Radio, on April 7, 1992 through Virgin Records. The album wasn't a huge success, but it managed to make it to three different charts, peaking at #118 on the Billboard 200, #25 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #2 on the Top Heatseekers. Radio Fusion Radio also featured the hit single "Victim of the Ghetto", which peaked at #68 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hot Rap Singles. On October 4, 1994 the group released their second and final album Nuttin' Less Nuttin' Mo'. It wasn't a success, only making it to #80 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and producing a single "Rollin" that only made it to #49 on the Hot Rap Singles. The College Boyz disbanded in 1994 with Romany "ROM" Malco eventually becoming a successful actor.

From 1993 Album: "Doggystyle"..... Snoop Dogg's Official Site: www.snoopdogg.com Get Snoop Dogg's Music: www.amazon.com & itunes.apple.com Doggystyle is the debut solo album from American West Coast hip hop rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg, released November 23, 1993 on Death Row Records. The album was recorded soon following the release of Dr. Dre's landmark debut album The Chronic (1992), to which Snoop Dogg contributed significantly. His musical stylizations for the album share similarity to those featured on Doggystyle. Critics have praised Snoop Dogg for the lyrical "realism" he delivers on the album and for his distinctive vocal flow. While recording the album, Snoop Dogg was arrested in connection with Phillip Woldermarian's death; he was tried and acquitted in 1996. Despite some mixed criticism of the album initially upon its release, Doggystyle has earned recognition from many music critics as one of the most significant albums of the 1990s, as well as one of the most important hip hop albums ever released.[3] Much like The Chronic, the distinctive sounds of Doggystyle helped introduce the hip hop style of G-funk to a mainstream audience, bringing forward West Coast hip hop as a dominant force in the early 1990s. As of 2008, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has certified Doggystyle quadruple platinum in sales, as it serves as Snoop Dogg's highest-selling album. The record debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and sold 802858 copies in its ...

They are one of my favorite groups and one of the groups I've been most influenced by. I love Primo and Guru." - Common Hollywood, California October 9, 2006 - Critically acclaimed hip-hop duo Gang Starr first hit the scene in 1989 and more than a decade of chart hits followed. Mass Appeal: The Best Of Gang Starr, to be released December 26 by Virgin/EMI Music Catalog Marketing, gathers 20 of their best tracks for their first ever single-disc hits collection, including six Top 10 hits and two songs originally released on film soundtracks. The new package includes liner notes by music journalist and author Soren Baker and a Deluxe Edition CD/DVD, to be released the same date, adds 11 music videos to the collection. Gang Starrs DJ/producer, Premier (Primo) and MC/lyricist, Guru, experienced their first critical embrace with the release of 1991s Step In The Arena. The album, an upfront sociopolitical departure from the prevailing style of the time, reached #19 on Billboards Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and #121 on the Top 200. The title track and Just To Get A Rep both hit #5 on the Hot Rap Singles chart, while Lovesick reached #11. Through the 1990s, Gang Starrs chart success improved steadily with ...
