  Ohio
  Ohio (ⁱ/oʊˈhaɪ.oʊ/) is a state in the Midwestern United States. Ohio is the 34th most extensive, the 7th most populous, and the 10th most densely populated of the 50 United States. The state's capital and largest city is Columbus.
  The name "Ohio" originated from Iroquois word ohi-yo’, meaning "great river". The state, originally partitioned from the Northwest Territory, was admitted to the Union as the 17th state (and the first under the Northwest Ordinance) on March 1, 1803. Although there are conflicting narratives regarding the origin of the nickname, Ohio is historically known as the "Buckeye State" (relating to the Ohio buckeye tree) and Ohioans are also known as "Buckeyes".
  The government of Ohio is composed of the executive branch, led by the Governor; the legislative branch, which comprises the Ohio General Assembly; and the judicial branch, which is led by the Supreme Court.   Cusack was born in Brooklyn, New York, to an Irish Catholic family. She is the sister of actors Joan, Bill, John, and Susie. Her mother, Ann Paula "Nancy" (née Carolan), is a former mathematics teacher and political activist. Her father, Dick Cusack, was an actor, producer, and writer. Dick, as well as a sizable number of titles in the Star Wars audio book library.   Beth Orton (born Elizabeth Caroline Orton, 14 December 1970) is a BRIT Award–winning English singer-songwriter, known for her 'folktronica' sound, which mixes elements of folk and electronica. She was initially recognised for her collaborations with William Orbit and the Chemical Brothers in the mid 1990s. However, these were not Orton's first recordings. She had released a solo album, Superpinkymandy, in 1993. Since the album was only released in Japan, it went largely unnoticed by international audiences.   Lively was initially not particularly interested in acting, however during the summer between her junior and senior years of high school, her brother, Eric, asked his agent to send her out on a few auditions over a period of a few months. From these few auditions, she got the role of Bridget for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.   Born into a Danish family residing in Victoria, British Columbia, Jensen began his career in his home country at the age of sixteen playing jazz and classical music. He then joined Radio Luxembourg at the age of eighteen in 1968. His late-night show, "Kid Jensen's Dimensions," concentrated on "progressive" music and attracted many fans, including former British prime minister Tony Blair. By 1974, Jensen was becoming a TV personality in Britain, hosting pop shows on ITV, and in the mid-1970s he worked for the then-new Radio Trent (now 96 Capital Radio East Midlands) in Nottingham, one of the first legal, land-based commercial radio stations in the UK. In 2006, she appeared in four films, most notably a major role in the horror prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. In 2009, Baird portrayed an Orion Starfleet officer in Star Trek directed by J. J. Abrams but was cut from the final version of the film.   Joanna Newsom (born January 18, 1982) is an American harpist, pianist and singer-songwriter from Nevada City, California.
  Newsom grew up in the small town of Nevada City, California. As a child, Newsom was not allowed to watch television or listen to the radio because she was raised by doctors who were "kind of idealists when it came to hoping they could protect us from bad influences, like violent movies, or stupid stuff". She was exposed to music from a young age. Her father played the guitar and her mother was a classically trained pianist who played the hammered dulcimer, the autoharp and conga drums. Newsom attended a Waldorf school where she studied theater and learned to memorize and recite long poems. This skill helps her to remember lyrics while on tour.
  At the age of five, Newsom asked her parents if she could play the harp. Her parents eventually agreed to sign her up for harp lessons, but the local harp teacher did not want to take on such a young student and suggested she learn to play the piano first. Starting at the age of four, she began playing the piano and later the harp, which she "loved from the first lesson onward." From her instructor, Joanna learned composition and improvisation. She learned to play on smaller Celtic harps until her parents bought her a full-size pedal harp in the seventh grade. During her teens, she and the instrument became inseparable, and she describes her relationship with the harp as similar to "an artificial limb or a wheelchair. It’s almost part of me, but more to the point, it serves a purpose, and if it wasn’t there I would wonder what was supposed to fit in its place."

  Joseph Hursley (born March 19, 1979) is an actor and musician living in Los Angeles, California.
  Hursley was born in Austin, Texas. His grandfather, Frank M. Hursley co-created the long running soap General Hospital. His father Greg Hursley is an architectural photographer and his mother, Kelle, is a nurse. Hursley began his entertainment career after participating in the Schick "Groove n' Smooth" national talent search in 1999. Hursley won the talent search, and went on to start his own karaoke company at the age of 19. Karaoke Joe performed 500 shows over the course of the next few years.
  After working some odd jobs Hursley made his acting debut starring in MTV's 2005 reality prankster series You've Got a Friend. The show was produced by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg. Hursley dove at the chance to play the slightly sinister roles each episode offered. He pushed the limits by getting the contestants to bend to his every whim. The show lended to his talents of improvising realistic, silly, and subversive comedy. His task was to play different "obnoxious friend" personas for hours on end and try to get the unsuspecting contestants to give up. It proved an entertaining but short lived series. After YGAF, Kutcher tapped him to join the Punk'd cast where he stumped various celebrities.

  After recurring roles on the shows Hardball and Days of our Lives, and a prolific career in commercials (including a notable spot as the "Fiesta" cigarette man in Mexico), Derwin was cast in his first contract role as Adrian Hunter on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. Derwin was on the show from 1989 to 1990, and was featured in a high-profile storyline as a grifter and, ultimately, a murderer.
  His next role was on the long-running soap opera Guiding Light as detective A.C. Mallet. Derwin played the character from 1990 to 1993. During his time there, the role of Mallet became a leading character.   Modest Mouse is an American indie rock band based in Portland, Oregon. They were formed in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, by singer/lyricist/guitarist Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green, and bassist Eric Judy. Since their 1996 debut album, This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About, their lineup has centered around Brock, Green and Judy. Guitarist Johnny Marr (formerly of The Smiths) joined the band in May 2006, along with percussionist Joe Plummer (formerly of the Black Heart Procession) and multi-instrumentalist Tom Peloso, to work on the album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Guitarist Jim Fairchild joined the band in February 2009. Their name is derived from a passage from the Virginia Woolf story "The Mark on the Wall" which reads, "I wish I could hit upon a pleasant track of thought, a track indirectly reflecting credit upon myself, for those are the pleasantest thoughts, and very frequent even in the minds of modest, mouse-coloured people, who believe genuinely that they dislike to hear their own praises."

  Ross Patterson is an American film actor who has appeared in 16 films including The New Guy, Accepted, and the 2006 Sundance film The Darwin Awards. Ross has also written, starred, and produced in six films, $50K And A Callgirl: A Love Story, 7-10 Split, Screwball: The Ted Whitfield Story, Darnell Dawkins Mouth Guitar Legend, Poolboy: Drowning Out The Fury, and FDR American Badass!, as well a pilot for MTV in 2007 entitled The Barnes Brothers which did not get picked up at upfronts. He was recently nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Spoof in 2008. Ross was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity at Ohio State University in the late 1990s. He got his start in stand-up comedy by using a fake ID in Atlanta, Georgia when he was 16 years old.
  Ross can be seen as the fast talking hollywood music producer "Joey Zane" in the movie Garden Party opening July 11, 2008 in Los Angeles, New York, Portland, and Seattle. See the Garden Party website for more details.

  David Ryan Adams (born November 5, 1974) is an American alt-country/rock singer-songwriter, from Jacksonville, North Carolina. In 2009 Adams married singer-songwriter and actress Mandy Moore, left The Cardinals and announced that he was taking a break from music.

  Steve Pink (born February 3, 1966) is an American actor, screenwriter and director. He is the director of the comedy films Accepted and Hot Tub Time Machine, and the co-writer of the films Grosse Pointe Blank and High Fidelity.

  In 2010, he directed Hot Tub Time Machine. He was also a producer on the 20th Century Fox release Knight and Day, starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. It has also been announced that Pink will direct the remake of 1984 cult classic The Toxic Avenger.   The Cure are an English alternative rock band formed in Crawley, West Sussex in 1976. The band has experienced several line-up changes, with frontman, vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Robert Smith being the only constant member. The Cure first began releasing music in the late 1970s with its debut album Three Imaginary Boys (1979); this, along with several early singles, placed the band as part of the post-punk and New Wave movements that had sprung up in the wake of the punk rock revolution in the United Kingdom. During the early 1980s, the band's increasingly dark and tormented music helped form the gothic rock genre.
  After the release of Pornography (1982), the band's future was uncertain and Smith was keen to move past the gloomy reputation his band had acquired. With the 1982 single "Let's Go to Bed" Smith began to place a pop sensibility into the band's music (as well as a unique stage look). The Cure's popularity increased as the decade wore on, especially in the United States where the songs "Just Like Heaven", "Lovesong" and "Friday I'm in Love" entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart. By the start of the 1990s, The Cure were one of the most popular alternative rock bands in the world. The band is estimated to have sold 27 million albums as of 2004. The Cure have released thirteen studio albums, 10 EPs and over thirty singles during the course of their career. Since 2010, they have been working on a fourteenth studio album.

  Thomas Peter "Tom" Shadyac (born December 11, 1958) is an American comedian, director, screenwriter, and producer. Shadyac, who was the youngest joke-writer ever for comedian Bob Hope, is widely known for writing and directing the films Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Nutty Professor, Liar Liar, Bruce Almighty, and I Am. He is an adjunct professor of communication and teaches screenwriting at Pepperdine University's Seaver College.
  Shadyac was born in Falls Church, Virginia, to Julie and Richard Shadyac, a lawyer. His mother was Lebanese and his father was of half-Irish descent. His mother, Julie, who died of cancer in 1998, had become semi-quadriplegic and spent much of Shadyac's adult life in a wheelchair.
  Shadyac graduated from J. E. B. Stuart High School in Falls Church, Virginia, in 1976 where he had played basketball, participated in the Key Club and made the Junior National and National Honor Societies. In both 1975 and 1976 Tom was included in Who's Who Among High School Students.

  Travis Scott Van Winkle (born November 4, 1982) is an American actor.
  Travis was born on November 4, 1982, in Victorville, California, the middle of three children of Sally (née Fitzgerald) and Charles Van Winkle. He remained in Victorville until he was two years old, and then moved to Oscoda, Michigan. When he was eight, his family moved again to Peachtree City, Georgia, where he finished at McIntosh High School and attended college until he was twenty. At twenty, he decided to pursue his dream of acting, and took the leap to go to Hollywood.
  Van Winkle made his debut in That's So Raven, and in TV has performed in The O.C., MAD TV, Malcolm in the Middle and 7th Heaven. Other film credits include one of the leads in Fox's Meet the Spartans, David R. Ellis's film "Asylum", Universal's Accepted and Michael Bay's Transformers. While he has modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch shot by Bruce Weber, Van Winkle appeared in the reboot of Friday the 13th (another Michael Bay production) as Trent, a character he previously portrayed in Transformers. In an interview with FearNet, Van Winkle said that he was very hyped about the movie, and enjoyed playing in it.
