Chris Todd, 35, from Bromham, Wiltshire, will zig-zag 66 miles across open water for two days non-stop. He will power his metal wheel - which he calls a Tredalo - by walking on wire mesh, with two floats either side to act as stabilisers. The charity stunt will see him burn a huge 36000 calories - almost three weeks worth - during the endurance feat. He will consume a whopping 30 litres of water and munch the equivalent of 60 Mars bars to keep energy levels up.

As the first ever Irish Sea Sessions draws to a close, the group plays an exhilarating medley of Newly Mowed Meadows, The Abbey, The Dublin and The Sandmont Reels. Part super group, part colossal session and part festival, all in a single gig, the inaugral Irish Sea Sessions took place at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Friday 22 October 2010. This very special concert featured Bernard O'Neill, Terry Coyne, Ian Prowse, Becky Taylor, Carlene Anglim, Colette O'Leary, Eimear McGeown, Niamh Parsons, Graham Dunne, Gino Lupari, Dave Munnelly, Damien Dempsey, Alan Burke and Lizzie Nunnery. BELTAINE has made out its own unique sound thanks to the rare and brave skill of mixing traditional Celtic music with modern music. The Polish music group BELTAINE was created in the year of 2002. After a time of evolving and variations it shaped up into a group of seven musicians. What makes this group special is an ability to conjoin different styles of music: they successfully commix a traditional irish, scottish, breton music (also a classical indian music) with contemporary one. What's more, it's characteristic of them to use the variety of instruments. These are not only traditional ones, such as fiddle, bouzuki, mandoline, whistles, bodhran, bombard, accordion or gaita pipes but they use rare percussion instruments (such as: tabla, cajon, darabuka, djembe) and electric, bass guitar or percussion as well. / source - beltaine.pl /

This is Part 2 of our latest 'Partnership' video showing trains which have originated in England, namely Ashford International, Bristol Temple Meads and London Euston.They then passed through "STROLEY INTERNATIONAL" to continue their journey through the Irish sea tunnel to "HILLSIDE CENTRAL". The main purpose of these trains is the ferrying of athletes and officials between the Olympic game venues.
