Starting the PH-APZ. The powerplant is a Gipsy Major Mk. I without an electric starter motor, so it needs to be started by hand. The PH-APZ is a replica of the Lambach HL II aerobatics aircraft built by Hugo Lambach in 1937. It's been built and maintained by Aerospace Engineering students of Delft University of Technology, united in the SSVOBB "Lambach Aircraft". More information on this society and the aircraft can be found on our website, www.ssvobb.nl. This footage was shot by Peter van Oorschot on May 13th 2010 at the Aviodrome National Aviation museum in Lelystad, the Netherlands. The cockpit was manned by Rogier Wijland, while the engine was hand-started by Halbe Mulder.

Das Kloster Lambach wurde um 1046 als Säkularkanonikerstift durch Graf Arnold II. von Wels-Lambach gegründet. Dessen Sohn, Bischof Adalbero von Würzburg, wandelte es 1056 in ein Benediktinerkloster (OSB) um, und sandte dazu den Seligen Abt Egbert und Mönche vom Kloster Münster-Schwarzach am Main. Die bestehende Anlage wurde der Hauptsache nach durch die Äbte Pacidus Hieber (1640--1678), Serverin Blaß (1678--1705) und Maximilian Pagl (1705--1725), auf den viele Erweiterungen (Nordtrakt mit Ambulatorium und Sommerrefektorium) zurückgehen, errichtet. Joseph II. hob das Stift 1784 auf. Nach dem Tod des Kaisers erreichte jedoch Abt Amand Schickmayr die Wiederherstellung. Die prächtige Stiftskirche ist das Zentrum der Klosteranlage. Vom angebauten Kreuzgang aus gelangt man in eine Andachtskapelle und weiter zur Loretokapelle. Sie ist einer der ältesten Teile des Stifts und weist freigelegte romanische Fresken auf. Die Fresken des Stifts Lambach sind die ältesten im süddeutschen Sprachraum.

Lokalbahn Lambach Haag am Hausruck - Haager Lies
Die Lokalbahn Lambach Haag am Hausruck, auch Haager Lies genannt, ist eine regelspurige Lokalbahn. Sie verkehrt zwischen den Orten Haag am Hausruck und Lambach in Oberösterreich. Einige Fahrzeuge der Bahn fahren weiter bis Wels. Die Bahn wurde am 23. Juli 1901 eröffnet. Die Strecke befindet sich zu 100% im Besitz der ÖBB, die Betriebsführung wurde durch die Firma Stern & Hafferl Verkehrs-GmbH durchgeführt. Insgesamt ist sie 26,3 Kilometer lang, wobei 4,4 Kilometer sich auf der Westbahn befinden. Sie wird mit 750 Volt Gleichstrom, beziehungsweise 15.000 V Wechselstrom (auf der Westbahn) betrieben. 2009 wurde die Einstellung der Bahnstrecke beschlossen. Als Grund wurden Kosten für einen Umbau der Einbindung in die Westbahn genannt. Ab dem 13. Dezember wird der Schienenverkehr auf der Strecke eingestellt. Die Zugverbindungen sollen durch Busse ersetzt werden. Hier sieht man den Zug bei Weinberg-Geboltskirchen
