In marketing, brand-new products or services are created and promoted under a new brand. This is a brand strategy alongside the brand stretching, line extension and multi-brands strategies. The brand-new strategy is focused on creating and introducing new products effectively. It involves researching a market to discover consumer needs that provide a market opportunity, generating ideas on how to approach that opportunity, and commercializing a product by communicating how the product covers the needs.
Companies may introduce brand-new products that replace previous products as a leading function for marketing, instead of making small incremental improvements on existing products.
Brand-new products and services are those introduced to a market along with a new brand.

TMZ is a celebrity news website that debuted on November 8, 2005. It was a collaboration between AOL and Telepictures Productions, a division of Warner Bros., until Time Warner divested AOL in 2009. The name TMZ stands for thirty-mile zone, the historic "studio zone" within a 30-mile (50 km) radius centered at the intersection of West Beverly Boulevard and North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
TMZ's managing editor is Harvey Levin, a lawyer-turned-journalist who was previously a legal expert for the Los Angeles television station KCBS-TV. The site claims that it does not pay for stories or interviews; however, Levin has admitted that TMZ does "sometimes pay sources for leads on stories". Levin has stated that "everything is researched and vetted for accuracy." A companion television series, TMZ on TV, debuted on September 10, 2007.
Seven months prior to the official launch of TMZ, America Online (AOL) had hinted that it was planning to launch a Hollywood and entertainment-centric news site that would be produced in conjunction with Telepictures Productions and had shown interest in launching a website featuring a focus mainly on celebrities. At the time of the launch, AOL confirmed that the site would primarily feature and consist of Hollywood gossip, including interviews, photos and video footage of celebrities and information pertaining to industry news on movies, television shows, etc. The site was described as "an effort to further feed the current American obsession with celebrities". Mike Shields of MediaWeek.com wrote, "the site also boasts of an expansive collection of archived star photos and videos", allowing fans to "trace changing hairlines and waistlines of their favorites performers over the years".

"What a Man" is a song written by Dave Crawford, and originally recorded for Stax Records by Linda Lyndell, whose recording reached No. 50 on the Billboard R&B chart in 1968. As "Whatta Man", a version was recorded in 1993, with greater commercial success, by Salt-n-Pepa with En Vogue.
In 1993, En Vogue covered the song and Salt-n-Pepa rapped over the track. "Whatta Man" is the second single released from Salt-n-Pepa's 1993 album Very Necessary; it was produced by Hurby "Luv Bug" Azor. The song also appeared on En Vogue's Runaway Love EP. "Whatta Man" was a major hit for both Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, and at number seven on the UK Singles Chart. In the US, it was certified platinum. It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group and the American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Single. It was held from reaching #1 by Sheryl Crow's "All I Wanna Do" at 2 and Montell Jordan's "This is How We Do It" at 1.
