This video clip shows the first 24 minutes of my trip from the bus station in Great Yarmouth to London's Victoria coach station. The trip took place on the 2nd of April 2012 and it lasted approximately 4.30 hours. Although I have applied my best efforts on the recording of this video, some of the footage might be slightly shaky at certain times due to the jerky and sudden movements of the coach.

Roller Coaster opened at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach in 1932 and still features an onboard "Brakeman" - an operator who sits on the train controlling the speed of the train using an brake lever. At the time of writing (August 2012), only six other coasters use the brakeman technique to control the speed. Situated on the seafront, Roller Coaster dips and dives around an impressive structure. Although it's not thrilling by today's standards, it has a certain charm making it a popular ride for all ages. Watch in 1080 HD for the best experience. The Edge Great Yarmouth
Wagstaffs Design animation and consultation help gain permission for a £30m pleasure beach casino Pleasure and Leisure Property Corporation (PLPC), owners of Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, has been awarded the licence to build a casino in the seaside town. It will form an integral part of a new leisure and entertainment complex called The Edge. Wagstaffs Design worked with PLPC on their public consultation and 3D visualisation of this exciting new development. Expected to create about 1000 jobs, it will include restaurants, bars, a bowling alley, eight-screen Odeon cinema, six-storey budget hotel and a multi-storey car park.

This ride is located at the Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, UK. Orbiter (also known as 'Extreme' or 'Extreme Orbiter' is a fairground ride invented in 1976. It is found in many different places - this particular one opened in 2012. Most come with 'over the shoulder restraints' and some others (including this one come with 'over the leg' restraints. Most Orbiters have 6 arms, each with 3 cars for 2 people. Some tilt more than others. REVIEW: Just about this particular one. It is a good new attraction to the Pleasure Beach as it lasts a good few minutes. It goes round fast, and makes me quite dizzy which is what I like. However, the seats are not at all comfortable. I have been on two different Orbiter rides (the other at Lowestoft) which had much more comfy seats. It should have 'over the shoulder' restraints in my opinion. Seating Comfort: Low Stomach Feeling: Low Intensity: Medium OVERALL RATING: 6/10

Kings Lynn to Great Yarmouth circa 1972 Norfolk Broads England via Wells next the sea From the captain of Blue Magic David Excellent footage. the first port of call where we anchored off for the night and subsequently moored under the bows of the ship was Wells next the Sea. Tony Lane who you briefly see was there with Don Kirby. Rupees engine was a BMC marinised by a nefarious character named Morgan in Brundall Norfolk. He obtained the basic engines from scrap British Telecom vans and sourced the manifold and other necessary item locally. Just an addition to the last letter. Rupes Elysian broke down in Yarmouth with air in the injection system. This was caused by a very slight thread pitch difference between gas fittings (from shop) & diesel fittings. The footage shows Blue Magic towing the Elysian and the shot with all on board is at Reedham on our way to Norwich where we had Peter Ralston bring Rupes Merc (Chloe) to collect us. the boats where trailered back to Bedford Boats Blue Magic Senior 32 aft cabin Powered by twin Perkins 4108 Cabana Elysian 27 Powered by a single BMC Diesel shaft drive Crew's Cabana Rupert (captain) Pete Blue Magic David (captain) Dennis Jim These crews left St Neots having the boats moved by road, then navigated practically the entire length of the Great Ouse to Kings Lynn and then leaving the wash heading around the bump of Norfolk to Great Yarmouth, and heading up river onto the Norfolk broads.
