The Only Way Through Which The City Was Connected To The Mainland Was Through Lake Ladoga. The Germans Thought That Sieze Of Leningrad Will Be Over Soon Before The Winter, But The Russians Resisted Fiercely And As The Winter Set In, An Ice Road Was Constructed Through Lake Ladoga. Nearly 1.5 Million People Were Able To Escape Through The Lake. And More Than 1.5 Million Tons Of Food Was Delivered To The Residents Of Leningrad Over The Ice Road That Was Built Over Lake Ladoga.

Lake Ladoga (Russian: Ла́дожское о́зеро, tr. Ladozhskoye ozero; IPA: [ˈladəʂskəjə ˈozʲɪrə] or Russian: Ла́дога, tr. Ladoga; IPA: [ˈladəgə]; Finnish: Laatokka [earlier in Finnish Nevajärvi]; Livvi-Karelian: Luadogu; Veps: Ladog, Ladoganjärv) is a freshwater lake located in the Republic of Karelia and Leningrad Oblast in northwestern Russia just outside the outskirts of Saint Petersburg. It is the largest lake in Europe, and the 15th largest freshwater lake by area in the world. Ladoga Lacus, a methane lake on Saturn's moon Titan, is named after the lake.
Etymology
In one of Nestor's chronicles from the 12th century he mentions a lake called "the Great Nevo" (a clear link to the Neva River; also compare Finnish: neva "bog, quagmire"). In ancient Norse sagas and Hanseatic treaties they mention a city made of lakes called Aldoga (compare Finnish: aalto - wave).
Since the beginning of the 14th century the name of the lake was commonly called Ladoga, which was named after the city of Ladoga which in turn was named after the eponymous inflow in the lower reaches of the Volkhov River (Finnish: Alodejoki - river in the low areas). Other theories about the origin of the name comes from Karelian: Aalto - wave, here Karelian: Aaltokas - wavy; from the Russian dialectal word алодь, meaning open lake, extensive water field.

Discoveries of minor-planet moons (and binary objects, in general) are important because the determination of their orbits provides estimates on the mass and density of the primary, allowing insights of their physical properties that is generally not otherwise possible.The first modern era mention of the possibility of an asteroid satellite was in connection with an occultation of the bright star Gamma Ceti by the asteroid 6 Hebe in 1977. The observer, amateur astronomer Paul D. Maley, detected an unmistakable 0.5 second disappearance of this naked eye star from a site near Victoria, Texas. Many hours later, several observations were reported in Mexico attributed to the occultation by 6 Hebe itself. A minor-planet moon is an astronomical object that orbits a minor planet as its natural satellite. As of February 2019, there are 352 minor planets known or suspected to have moons. Discoveries of minor-planet moons (and binary objects, in general) are important because the determination of their orbits provides estimates on the mass and density of the primary, allowing insights of their physical properties that is generally not otherwise possible.The first modern era mention of the possibility of an asteroid satellite was in connection with an occultation of the bright star Gamma Ceti by the asteroid 6 Hebe in 1977. The observer, amateur astronomer Paul D. Maley, detected an unmistakable 0.5 second disappearance of this naked eye star from a site near Victoria, Texas. Many hours later, several observations were reported in Mexico attributed to the occultation by 6 Hebe itself. Although not confirmed, this documents the first formally documented case of a suspected companion of an asteroid.

During World War Ii, With The Beginning Of The Operation Barbarosaa, German Forces Invaded The Soviet Union In June 1941, One Of The Main Aims Of The German Army Or The Wehrmacht, Was To Capture Leningrad, An Important Cultural And Industrial City And The Only Way Through Which The Soviet Union Had Access To The Baltic Sea. The Siege Of Leningrad Took Place From September 8, 1941 To January 27, 1944, Lasting Roughly 872 Days, It Was One Of The Longest Sieze In Modern History.
The Germans, With The Help Of The Finnish Army, Emcircled The City And Cut Off All Routes From The Russian Mainland. About Half A Million Soviet Troops, And Up To Three Million Civilians Were Trapped In The Encircled City Of Leningrad.
The Only Way Through Which The City Was Connected To The Mainland Was Through Lake Ladoga. The Germans Thought That Sieze Of Leningrad Will Be Over Soon Before The Winter, But The Russians Resisted Fiercely And As The Winter Set In, An Ice Road Was Constructed Through Lake Ladoga. Nearly 1.5 Million People Were Able To Escape Through The Lake. And More Than 1.5 Million Tons Of Food Was Delivered To The Residents Of Leningrad Over The Ice Road That Was Built Over Lake Ladoga.
The Siege Of Leningrad Is Considered As The Deadliest Sieze In Modern World History.
More Than One Million People Died During The Seize . Before The Start Of The Sieze, Leningrad Had A Population Of More Than 3 Million. Nearly 1.5 Million Were Evacuated And By The End Of The Sieze In 1944, Less Than 700,000 Remained In The City.

We decided to make an express run around Ladoga despite the weather forecasts. Meteorologists have predicted torrents all the way for us and thunderstorms. Fortunately, we did not see the thunderstorm from the word at all, it fell into the rain and rain, but only occasionally. A minor-planet moon is an astronomical object that orbits a minor planet as its natural satellite. As of February 2019, there are 352 minor planets known or suspected to have moons. Discoveries of minor-planet moons (and binary objects, in general) are important because the determination of their orbits provides estimates on the mass and density of the primary, allowing insights of their physical properties that is generally not otherwise possible.The first modern era mention of the possibility of an asteroid satellite was in connection with an occultation of the bright star Gamma Ceti by the asteroid 6 Hebe in 1977. The observer, amateur astronomer Paul D. Maley, detected an unmistakable 0.5 second disappearance of this naked eye star from a site near Victoria, Texas. Many hours later, several observations were reported in Mexico attributed to the occultation by 6 Hebe itself. Although not confirmed, this documents the first formally documented case of a suspected companion of an asteroid.

i know it's a temptation
but keep a little patience
'cause when you go to fast you fall for their lies.
i can imagine it's kind of hard
if you don't know how to start
working and gettin' money for a living.
but i think you should wait
for a good way to get payed;
don't go to the enemy i'm not kiddin'!
think about it now
i think that you're about
to be doin' a job that's making you an asshole.
i can guarantee
that this is going to be
unsatisfying and stressfull....
so....

'cause being a cop is fucked up !!!
if people don't get a job
and demonstrate you beat'em up.
is that really what you wanna be doin' out there?

but the choice just ain't yours
when the chiefcommander behind you is getting louder.

treatin' people like you are superior.
