At a time of rapid changes, much of the European population is young in new situations that require profound changes, both individual and collective. Within this context, it is necessary to create new economic and social formulas that enable youth out of this situation of job insecurity and economic crisis. It is therefore necessary to provide young people with real life examples of innovative projects that can serve as inspiration to carry out their own projects, as well as to train these young people the basic principles that any young entrepreneur might need in future. Objectives 1. - To provide to young participants real examples of innovative social projects 2. - Provide tools and resources against youth unemployment 3. - Promoting entrepreneurship 4. - Strengthen social cohesion, active citizenship and intercultural dialogue. 5. - To present the possibilities offered by the European Commission to launch new projects Activities being carried out 1. - Study visits to innovative social projects in the city of Vic and Barcelona www.sambucus.cat www.trueta.cat www.lacol.org canbatllo.wordpress.com 2. - Through these activities will provide participants with training methodology of non-formal education a) From the idea to the practice -- through interactive sessions and workshops participants will be given opportunity to develop their skills about generating ides and planning their implementation. It will starts with sharing information and evaluating situations of their own realities (country situations related to youth unemployment and possibilities given by states for youth entrepreneurship). After each visit participants will evaluate quality and possibilities to realize such projects in their own countries. Every day they will have 1 -- 2 hour workshops working in groups for creating and planning social-entrepreneurship projects. This will give them knowledge and skills for future real actions. Motivation developed by visiting real working examples will be used as a trigger for participants learning process. b) Process creation and legal forms (cooperatives, youth associations, self-employment) in the process of group works will be included presentations and sharing best practices for project planning, legal issues and funding of small entrepreneur initiatives. Participants will asses and compare possibilities in different countries of their origin. c) Basis on financial relationships with other organizations and government-- also they will be provided with information about possible funding and programs supporting youth entrepreneurship. 3. - Simulation in creating innovative social projects through teamwork, regarding social economy - at the end of the project as a result of workshops participants will present few fully developed project ideas related to youth social entrepreneurship. Also they will propose concrete actions for reducing youth unemployment in their own countries based on possibilities given by European Commission. And will propose possible relations between funding programmes and youth initiatives. Working in mixed international groups in workshops will develop participant's skills for team work, communication and social skills. It will raise intercultural understanding and tolerance. Through the entire project visits will be mixed with interactive workshops and presentations which will help them to learn by practicing real competences related with project planning and implementation of social-entrepreneurship ideas.
