Darclik en la parte de más información o en Mostrar más por favor.- Max Perutz famoso químico y biologo molecular del siglo XX quien fue uno de los fundadores de la biología molecular. En octubre de 1947, fue nombrado jefe de la recién creada Unidad de Consejo de Investigación Médica de Biología Molecular, con JC Kendrew que representa a todo su personal continuo en ese puesto hasta ser nombrado presidente de ese mismo puesto. Su principal aportación a la ciencia fue el descubrimiento de la molecula de la hemoglobina (Es una proteína en los glóbulos rojos que transporta oxígeno a todo el cuerpo. La toma sanguínea que determinar qué tanta hemoglobina tiene uno en la sangre es uno de los más importantes examenes en los diagnosticos medicos). Perutz, fue miembro de la Royal Society, nombrado Comandante del Imperio Británico en 1962. También miembro honorario de la Academia Americana de las Artes y las Ciencias.
