Taxco urban downhill mountain bike race - mhltd.blogspot.com
In this footage filmed from a camera mounted on a rider's helmet, we see MHLTD sponsored race winner Brendan Fairclough's hair-rasing descent through the narrow streets of Taxco in Mexico. Taking part in the Taxco urban downhill, Fairclough races down steep stairs, on a mud track, through suburban streets, squeezes through alleyways and jumps over makeshift ramps -- all in under four and a half minutes. This is a part of the social campaign that MHLTD is go-green organisation and against vehicular pollution. We also chose to participate in Mexico event to protest against drug trafficking. Abdullah Tahiri is going to attend the next event with his chopper gang. Source: YouTube Length: 4min 33sec Friday 9 November 2012 Source: Guardian.co.uk Length: 4min 33sec Friday 9 November 2012

Scooby's 200 mile bike race - 2012 fitness goal
scoobysworkshop.com This video is different from all my others. I have over two hundred videos on how you can lose weight, gain muscle, and get healthier but none about me. This video is about me and my fitness goals and this is important for two reasons. First to show you I practice what I preach. I harp on your folks about how important goal setting is and Its just as important for me as it is for you! Every year I publish my fitness goals on the About Me section of my website and in this video I will cover a 200 mile race which was one of my fitness goals for 2012 The second reason I feel this is important for you is that you can tell from looking at me that I know how to build a great physique and can follow my own advice, but what you cant tell is if my bod is for go or show. Its one thing to build an amazing physique, its another to build a functional and healthy body. Too many bodybuilders get out of breath climbing up two flights of stairs and dont do anything athletic outside the weight room. I have learned just as much about fitness, bodybuilding and health from sports as I have in the weight room. For example, I can tell you firsthand from doing triathlons about how important hydration is, whether cardio burns muscle, and how far the body can be pushed. From beach volleyball I can tell you firsthand about shoulder an knee issues and how to keep the joints healthy. Bodybuilding experience comes from a variety of sources, from books, from lifting weights and from ...

Cycling Track Women's Omnium 500m Time Trial - Gold Medal Race. Full Replay from the Velodrome at the London 2012 Olympic Games. -- 7 August 2012 Woman's Omnium Medallists GOLD: Laura Trott (GBR) SILVER: Sarah Hammer (USA) BRONZE: Annette Edmondson (AUS) Cycling is among the rare sports that have always featured on the Olympic programme. Road cycling, however, was not on the programme of the Paris 1900, St Louis 1904 or London 1908 Games, while track cycling wasn't in the programme of the Stockholm 1912 Games. The first road event in Olympic history took place in 1896 on the marathon route at the first Games of the modern era in Athens. The race started in Athens, headed towards Marathon, then returned to Athens, at the Phaliron velodrome. Olympic cycling was added to the women's programme in Los Angeles in 1984, with an individual road event. The Holstee Manifesto Lifecycle Video
holstee.com/manifesto
The Holstee Manifesto is a call to action to live a life full of intention, creativity, passion, and community.
The LifeCycle Film came about as a desire to bring the energy and passion behind the Manifesto to life through something we love--biking. As we seek to live mindful lifestyles that leave a positive impact on the people and world around us, biking has become a passion that is much more than a transportation alternative. It is a way of fully experiencing the city we love and all of its details.
This Film is a celebration. It is a celebration of gatherings, of diversity, of life, and of the beauty of shared experience. We hope you enjoy.

It's Your Ride
Directed by Daniel Leeb of Cinecycle Productions.
This short film features Alfred Bobe Jr. and Fatimah Durkee. The film spins a visual ballad between the two cyclists experiencing the city in their own unique ways. Both cyclists are city dwellers who amidst the chaos of the concrete jungle have created a private and peaceful psychological space as they traverse the streets. They are both alone and yet they are both very much aware of each others presence. The film speaks to the harmony with one's environment that can be found while riding a bicycle in a city and the synchronistic connection we can have with those we have not even met. The short was commissioned by Hutchinson tires.

Clif Bar Shot Of: UNEXPECTED -- Bike Race Perfection
Every once in a while, as fans of cycling, we get treated to something truly spectacular. On April 10th, 2011, Garmin-Cervélo rider Johan Van Summeren pulled off a fantastic victory at one of the most entertaining pro bike races on the planet. It was another thrilling Paris-Roubaix - even before Johan crossed the finish line first. From the team standpoint, the win was about as tactically perfect as anyone could have possibly hoped for -- but it wasn't the win any of us really expected. And that just added to the beauty of it all. Over here at CLIF, it simply doesn't get any better than watching a Team CLIF Bar sponsored rider & team win Paris-Roubaix.

Cyclo-Cross World Championships Elite Men's Race - WHOLE RACE RE-RUN
This is the Elite Men's Race from the 2013 UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championships from Louisville, Kentucky. The origins of cyclo-cross are a matter of much debate. One theory we like is that in the early 1900s, French cyclists would race each other from one town to the next by whichever route they thought would be the fastest. They would cut through fields and forests, carry their bike over fences and generally take any shortcut they could in order to make it to the finish first! Today, Cyclo-cross is raced on a circuit of between 2.5km and 3.5km. The terrain is varied and may include clearings, roads, country lanes, sands and forest paths. Riders are required to complete several laps of the circuit over a period of no more than one hour. Sometimes they have to carry their bikes in order to negotiate steep paths, muddy tracks and artificial obstacles. Technical back-up is permitted. This spectacular discipline is an unbeatable school of cycling in that it requires incredible technical skill, impressive physical fitness and plenty of courage.
