4th CAMPUS TV Show - City Event 2012 - Lausanne
For the third consecutive time, FISU is present with an information booth at the City Events Conference. This year's edition takes place in Lausanne, Switzerland, from November 14th to 16th, 2012.
For its third edition, the City Events Conference focused on bidding for major sporting events, with the following topics:
- Preparing to bid;
- Bidding to win;
- Bidding, what really matters: the view of international federations.
During break-out sessions, the attendees witnessed presentations of case studies from the hosts of accomplished major sporting events and successful bids like the Province of KwaZulu-Natal (RSA) (2010 FIFA World Cup), City of London (2012 Olympics), Istanbul (Europe's most active bidder); Gwangju (2015 Universiade & bidder for 2019 FINA World Championships, Amsterdam (2016 European Athletics Championships) to name a few.

FISU President Claude-Louis Gallien addressed the conference's participants at the opening ceremony and together with FISU Secretary-General/CEO Eric Saintrond discussed future FISU activities with the many interested parties visiting the FISU promo booth.
It is noteworthy mentioning that delegates of host cities of upcoming FISU events were present as well, as speakers at the conference, i.e. Igor Sivov, Marketing Director of the Kazan 2013 SU Organizing Committee and Kim Yoonsuk, Secretary-General of the Gwangju 2015 SU Organizing Committee.

ION TELEVISION DEBUTS WWE MAIN EVENT
STAMFORD, Conn., June 25, 2012 -- WWE (NYSE: WWE) and ION Television today announced a new weekly one-hour original series airing on Wednesday nights at 8/7C. WWE Main Event will debut on October 3, 2012, and feature WWE Superstars and Divas from the rosters of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. The new show will be available in 100 million U.S. television households on ION Television, a top-rated general entertainment network that features a broad mix of critically acclaimed series, movies and original programming.

"THAT'S RIGHT! The Jay and Juggy Show.TV needs 25-50 extras to help film a scene in their upcoming Season Finale of Season 2, "The Hockomock Triangle, Unearthing The Chronicles (2013)."
Even though we cannot discuss what the filming involves, we can say that we will need an hour of your time to film a scene that will require little-to-no effort on your part. All that we ask is that you accept our facebook event and prepare to have a good time with The Jay and Juggy Show.TV!
Everyone is eligible! However, the most practical commute would be for people from the Massachusetts area.

We need to be absolutely sure we have enough participants or we will have to postpone the filming until we do. Those who attend have a token of appreciation coming their way to boot, aside from being in the episode and your name in the credits (totally optional by the way).

The scene being filmed for the Season 2 Finale will be filmed on Sept, 28, 2012, 8pm sharp.
Time: 7:30PM to 7:45PM
Details: We meet at Slapshotz Pub to discuss specifics about the shoot, waivers, head count and to answer any remaining questions about the shoot you or anyone else may have.

Time: 7:45PM to 9:00PM
Details: We leave Slapshotz Pub and drive convoy-style to the set (a.k.a The Bunker) which is only 2-3 miles from Slapshotz. There, we'll be filming a scene that is very simplistic and will require little-to-no effort on behalf of the extras. Once filming is finished, be sure to get the "special pass" the team will be handing out to those who participated.
