Turkic Peoples Don't Look The Same As Mongols
To see photos of the Kazakh Türk minority living in Mongolia(Bayan Olgii) and Kyrgyz Türk minority living in China(Xinjiang = East Turkestan) and to notice how they look different from Mongols, please visit the webpages below (that i saw days after i uploaded this video) www.asiafinest.com www.asiafinest.com All Turkic folks are definetely a mixture of Mongoloid race and various types of Caucasoid race but some of them have more Caucasoid genes while the others have more Mongoloid genes. PLEASE READ THAT: I don't think that Caucasoid race is superior to Mongoloid race or vice versa and also i'm neither pure Caucasoid nor pure Mongoloid. This video has nothing to do with comparing general beauty degrees of the Turkic and the Mongolic since it contains random photos of beautiful/handsome, average-looking, ugly people from both Turkic and Mongolic side. I don't think Turkic peoples are more beautiful than Mongolic peoples in general or vice versa. I just wanted show a fact. Some people claim that Turkic people in Asia are 100% pure Mongoloid and look the same as Mongols. Look carefully at shapes of the heads, the noses, the eyes, the cheekbones and try to notice the anthropological differences between Mongolics and Turkics. Mongols looks pure Mongoloid however Turkics look like a mixture. Also notice the Turkic blondes; a pure Mongoloid person who has no Caucasoid blood can't be blonde with blue/green eyes since ginger, blond hair and blue, green eyes comes from the special ...

Ethnic Turkish People and Their Culture
In This Video; ALL THE YURTS AND SEMI-NOMADIC PEOPLE ARE FROM TURKEY. THE CENTRAL ASIAN LOOKING PEOPLE ARE ALL TURKISH FROM TURKEY. ALL THE MINIATURES WERE MADE BY AN OTTOMAN ARTIST IN THE 18th CENTURY AND THEY SHOW TURKS OF TURKEY DURING THAT TIME. THE ILLUSTRATIONS SHOW OTTOMAN TURKS. ALL THE NATIONAL COSTUMES BELONG TO TURKS OF TURKEY. THE TRADITIONAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AFTER THE TIME 12:18 BELONG TO OTTOMAN TURKISH CLASSICAL AND FOLK MUSICS BUT SOME OF THEM HAVE FALLEN INTO DISUSE AT THE PRESENT TIME. Turkics especially Kazakh and Kyrgyz brothers\sisters PLEASE WAKE UP! Real Turkish people are Turkic too. Arab-looking, shitty, hairy, big nosed, too ugly, hateful bastards from Turkey are NOT ethnically Turkish. Don't call them Turkish anymore! They're KURDISH mostly or ARAB or GYPSY. STOP DISLIKING TURKISH PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THEM! In your own country or when you come to Turkey or while you're surfing on internet and watching TV; you see some "Turkish"(?) people then you usually talk about Turks of Turkey and their culture negatively. Also, don't forget that an European-looking person from Turkey may be Bosniak, Muslim Greek, Muslim Albanian, Muslim Georgian, Circassian etc. who is Turkish citizen but not Turkish ethnically. So, don't consider everyone from Turkey as Turkish before learning his/her real ethnicity and having an opinion about the Turkicness and culture of ethnic Turkish people! Caucasian Turkic People Fact or Nonsense and Fairy Tales About Turkic People Origin
The "Türkic-lingual" haplogroup R1b expanded from the South Siberia, where it formed 16000 years ago, across the territories of the Middle Volga, Samara, Khvalynsk (in the middle course of river Volga) and the Ancient Pit Grave ("Kurgan") archaeological cultures and historical-cultural complexes (8-6 thousand years ago and later, the common ancestor of the ethnic Russians with haplogroup R1b1 lived 6775 ± 830 years ago), northern Kazakhstan (for example Botai culture dated by the archaeologists 5700 - 5100 years before present (BP), in reality much older), passed through the Caucasus to Anatolia (6000 ± 800 BP by the dating of R1b1b2 haplogroup of the modern Caucasians), and through the Middle East (Lebanon, 5300 ± 700 BP; the ancient ancestors of the modern Jews, 5150 ± 620 BP), and Northern Africa (Berbers of the R1b haplogroup, 3875 ± 670 BP), crossed over to the Iberian Peninsula (around 4800-4500 BP, present day Basques 3625 ± 370 BP) and further on to the British Isles (in the Ireland 3800 ± 380 and 3350 ± 360 BP for different populations), and to the continental Europe (Flanders, 4150 ± 500 BP, Sweden 4225 ± 520 BP). The path from the Pyrenees to the Continental Europe is the path and period of the Beaker Culture, the ancestors of the Pra-Celts and Pra-Italics. In parallel, the traces of the ancient R1b carriers are found in the Balkans (4050 ± 890 BP), separately in Slovenia (4050 ± 540 BP), and Italy (4125 ± 500 BP). That was the beginning of the Türkic languages ...

Авдет - Return to the Motherland
The Crimean Tatars are Turkic people who inhabited the Crimean peninsula, now a part of Ukraine, for over seven centuries. They established their own Khanate in the 1440s and remained an important power in Eastern Europe until 1783, when Crimea was annexed to Russia. During World War II, the entire Tatar population in Crimea fell victims to Stalin's oppressive policies. In 1944 they were unjustly accused of being Nazi collaborators and deported en masse to Central Asia and other lands of the Soviet Union. Many died of disease and malnutrition. Although a 1967 Soviet decree removed the charges against Crimean Tatars, the Soviet government did nothing to facilitate their resettlement in Crimea and to make reparations for lost lives and confiscated property. Today more than 250,000 Crimean Tatars are back in their homeland, struggling to reestablish their lives and reclaim their national and cultural rights against many social and economic obstacles.

Info:
The term mankurt in popular culture refers to a person who cannot recall his or her cultural roots and origin. The word comes from a Turkic myth popularized by Chinghiz Aitmatov in his novel The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years (“И дольше века длится день”). It is a philosophical tale about what can happen to people if they forget their motherland, language, and history.
The Turkic legend mentioned in the novel tells about a cruel way of making a mankurt of a captive man obtaining that he forgets everything but basic activities and, thus, becomes an ideal slave of Djungar masters.
The process involves a round of fresh raw hide from the neck of a camel, that would be planted as a sort of cap on the thoroughly shaven head of a captive. His hands as well his feet are tied and to prevent the victim to replace the cap by rubbing his head on the ground a large wooden stock is installed around his neck. That captive would be then simply left in desert for several days. Once the hide would start drying it would shrink and bind to the head, thus making a hoop and literally “squeezing” all sanity out of the man (usually). What is worse, the hair is not always able to grow through the camel’s hide so it often curls back and would penetrate the scalp causing a pain beyond endurance. Usually that victim would perish from such a torture or a thirst.
If the man happens to survive the torture, he would be recuperated and become like a dog to his master, not remembering anything from his past, his culture, even his own name or the name of his own mother. Removing completely the camel’s hide from the scalp is not always possible and those mankurts (e.g. the son of Nayman-Ana in Aytmatov’s novel) are so ashamed of having such a headgear that they are always wearing a cap, day and night and would not doff it for anything in the world.

Prayercast | Turkey
A mix of antiquity and innovation, the nation of Turkey combines modernized industry with traditional agriculture to be the sixteenth largest economy in the world. Simultaneously one of the poorer nations of Europe yet also the most developed of the Turkic countries in Central and Western Asia, Turkey has acted as a bridge between these two worlds while remaining separate from either.
In spite of growth, the economy continues to be hindered by a high deficit and is dependent on unreliable, short-term investments. The Kurdish people, who compose nearly one fifth of the total population within Turkey, are in dispute with the Turks over ethnic recognition. Although the Kurdish language can legally be used in print and spoken in public settings, the government will often prosecute Kurd speakers and confiscate publications under the guise of prohibiting separatist propaganda. In response, the Kurds have begun to violently demand cultural rights, resulting in conflicts that have taken the lives of over thirty thousand people since 1999. Security forces are also fighting narcotics trafficking from Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan into Europe.
Even though it was one of the earliest mission fields and home to many New Testament churches, hostility and persecution of Christians is strong in Turkey. It is culturally accepted that to be a Turk, one must be Muslim, even if nominally so, and over 98 percent claim the faith. Muslim extremists, government intimidation, and family pressure discourage many from coming to Christ and there is a deep national resentment towards Christianity, making evangelism more difficult. The Turks and Kurds need to offer each other forgiveness and to love one another as brothers and sisters. Even in the midst of persecution, God still stands, and He is calling out to His people of Turkey to accept the love and peace that only comes from him.

Ride the Caspian
Bahar Behbahani and Almagul Menlibayeva, 2011
Two-channel, HD video
Time: 12:46
Almagul Menlibayeva (Kazakhstan) and Bahar Behbahani (Iran/USA) present
Ride the Caspian (2011) a two-channel video installation that creates a dialogue
between Kazakhstan and Iran, two cultures situated at the crossroads of the
Middle East and Central Asia, adjacent to one another and bound by the Caspian
Sea.
Menlibayeva’s and Behbahani’s collaborative project explores a contemporary
relationship between two ancient cultures—featuring both the nomadic pagan
traditions of the Turkic/Kazakh tribes, apparent in the post-soviet environment of
Kazakhstan, and the wide reaching Persian traditions of a settled people with a
complex authoritarian structure, located in the territory of Muslim Iran.
Deliberate conceptual and aesthetic juxtapositions are elemental to the work.
Vistas of oil wells dotting the vast arid Kazakh Steppes appear side by side with
views of a plein-air salon—two formal chairs and a pedestal with flowers atop a
traditional Turkmen carpet—on the shore of the Caspian Sea. In these richly
contrasting environments, contemplative scenarios aesthetically reminiscent of
the traditional Persian miniature style unfold in opposition to the dramatic
performance of a mysterious fertility ritual. In one scene, two officials dressed in
western clothing sitting by the sea seem to gaze with mild interest at a furwrapped
stiletto-heeled female creature whose seductive gestures at once mime
and defy the steady movement of the oil pumps that surround her. At odds with
her raw eroticism are women wearing headscarves and dancing with mannerist
doll-like movements. With these and other poignant contradictions, Ride the
Caspian presents a suite of provocative double-entendres that cross cultural and
political borders.

Qashqai's are an Iranian group of tribal semi-Nomadic peoples who speak a Turkic language. It is commonly falsely believed that Qashqai's are a Turkic people racially, they're actually of mixed Kurdish, Lori, and Turkic ancestry.
