1911 Anniversary
The US Army officially adopted the 1911 pistol exactly 100 years ago today, March 29, 1911. What kind of pistolero would I be if I did not give John Browning his due respect and post a little celebration of the 1911 today! For the first 35 years of my life, including my first 15 - 20 years of handgunning, the 1911 was our military handgun. The 1911s I owned and enjoyed back in the '70s and early '80s were essentially the same guns that soldiers were carrying and training with at the time, just as with the Beretta 92 today. Old "Slabsides" is still going strong in both competition and on the street. It might be a bit heavy and large, but it is still a very viable choice for almost any handgun application. How many other pieces of machinery designed and used 100 years ago are we still using! :-) I've fired tens of thousands of rounds of .45ACP through John Browning's creation, and I plan to shoot many thousands more through them before I'm banished to that final shooting range in the sky! :-)

SILENCED NIGHTHAWK 1911
FPSRussia Shirts: fpsrussia.spreadshirt.com Twitter: twitter.com FaceBook: www.facebook.com Zombies: zombieindustries.com AAC Nighthawk 1911: Chambered in .45 ACP, this custom 1911 was built by Nighthawk Tactical, its a match grade pistol that is suppressor/silencer ready. You can pick one up for around $3000. AAC Ti-RANT 45 Suppressor/SIlencer: The Ti-RANT .45 is the worlds first silencer for .45 ACP pistols that is truly stealthy when fired dry. The average dry sound signature of the Ti-RANT .45 is 133 dB when fired on a Heckler and Koch USP Tactical .45 with Remington 230 grain ammunition. This puts the dry performance of the Ti-RANT .45 squarely in the ballpark of most competitor's 9mm pistol silencers. With a wet charge of 5ccs of water, the sound signature drops to 125 dB. To put it another way, our .45 silencer is quieter than some companys .22 silencers. You can pick one up for about $850 not including your $200 tax stamp. The magazine is a colt 15 round 1911 magazine I picked up at a gun show, you can find them for around $20 though not all of them work 100% of the time. The ammunition is standard .45 tracer, its normally in red, but if you look around the net hard enough you can find green. Also to correct a comment I read earlier, the ammo Im using is sub-sonic (slower than the speed of sound) you cannot get a 45ACP round to be reliably supersonic without making the bullet so light as to be unusable, given the pressure limitations of the chambering.

1911 Trailer Official 2011 [HD] Starring Jackie Chan
bit.ly - Click to Subscribe! Facebook.com - Become a Fan! Twitter.com - Follow Us! 1911 hits theaters on October 7th, 2011. Cast: Jackie Chan, Joan Chen, Lee Bing Bing, Jaycee Chan, Winston Chao At the beginning of the 20th century, China is in a state of crisis. The country is split into warring factions, the citizens are starving, and recent political reforms have made matters worse, not better. The ruling Qing Dynasty, led by a seven-year-old emperor, is completely out of touch after 250 years of unquestioned power. With ordinary citizens beginning to revolt openly, the Qing Dynasty has created a powerful, modern army (the "New Army") to quash any rebellion. But weapons are expensive, and desperate for cash, the Qing leaders are trading anything they can get their hands on with foreign countries... and selling China's future in the process. Huang Xin (Jackie Chan) has recently returned from Japan, where he has studied the art of modern warfare. When he finds his country falling apart, he feels he has no choice but to pick up the sword, leading an increasingly desperate series of violent rebellions against the powerful Qing Dynasty and the New Army- several with tragic consequences. From the walls of the Forbidden City to the battlefields of China, with no expense spared in production and no detail ignored in its quest for historical accuracy, 1911 is a true epic in every sense of the word. 1911 trailer courtesy Variance Films.

"1911 Handgun Philosophy of Use" by Nutnfancy
It's no fluke that the 1911 style of handgun is still popular more than 100 yrs after its inception. Designed by firearms design genius John Moses Browning, the 1911 was ground breaking in its capabilities: it was accurate, reliable, durable, and hit hard in its .45 ACP chambering. It quickly acquired a loyal following as it fought in both World Wars, Korea, and even Vietnam with distinction. And that reputation with these returned servicemen continued on into their civilian lives when they sought to acquire their own 1911s. In this video however, I concentrate on the Philosophy of Use or POU for the type and address the design's capabilities when evaluated for role. POUs including the Go to War Gun (GTWG), Home Defense, Competition and Recreation, Concealed Carry, and "Addiction" handgun are discussed in detail with pros and cons identified. Steel framed 1911s predominate the market but are heavy for their limited magazine capacity (single stack versions). But for absolute durability, quicker shot recovery, less fatigue in extended shooting, and gunsmithing capes, the steel framed versions remain popular. Depending on POU, they are appropriated and preferred. AS a GTWG, I prefer that aluminum or Scandium framed 1911s (and in the other POUs as well). Training with the type is mandatory and the 1911 with its manual safety offers some chances for mistakes when under stress. Size and weight and firepower considerations for the 1911 are addressed. These subject matter ...

Gunsmithing the 1911: Trigger Job by "Terry G", Pt 1
PART 1 OF 2 ////////////// Take a high value 1911 like the Taurus PT1911 and make it better for less than you think too. Here TacticalDoodle and I take the long drive down to Impact Guns in Ogden, UT to upgrade some aspects of the TNP PT1911 Project Gun. We enlist the services of experienced Impact Guns Gunsmith Terry Gardner to install the "Wilson Combat Value" parts into the gun (safety, sear, hammer, and modding the stock grip safety for interface). Previously installed by me, we didn't accomplish the proper fitting needed to achieve professional results. In this Nutnfancy two-parter, you will see Terry in detailed action as he modifies, fits, and explains his techniques for achieving an improved trigger pull on this PT1911. You can probably achieve the same results yourself after some trial and error, some botched parts, lots of time, and specially purchased jigs and Arkansas stones. We show all aspects in great detail should you choose to do. But having a professional like Terry G, with many such jobs under his belt, is the way to go to save time and money and keep things safe. The results were impressive: crisp safety actuation and a clean 4.25 lb trigger pull with improved take up. Terry G states the cost for a trigger job is $65 and accepts your shipments at the Impact Guns Ogden store (ensure UNLOADED), even your botched project guns that your "cousin" screwed up. Services shown were paid for in full by me and I receive zero money from Impact for these videos and ...

Shooting a Commander size 1911 at 230 yards. Ammo is 230 grain hardball (Winchester White Box). If you are new to my videos and don't quite get a good grasp of the range layout, you can check out Range Tour 2 and also check out my other videos shooting at this target (Glock 23 at 30 yards, Glock 27 at 230 yards). I get in the mood every now and then to try this again, but it takes so much focus and concentration that it taxes my meager brain and attention a little too much! :-)

S&W; 1911 #108303: "Masterpiece of Steel" by Nutnfancy
A forged stainless, full-sized 1911 that rocks the range. That's this Smith and Wesson Model 108303 with its low profile light rail. Sometimes lightweight guns can handicap you. Like in competition and when you don't have to carry a lot of gear long distances. In that case you might want to reach for this Amercan-made S&W; interpreation of the design. In my testing it shoots fast and soft, attributable of course to its stout 41 oz weight and also its excellent stock trigger which yields a 4.75 lb with very little creep. That results in impressive tactical accuracy (show on small steel targets) that can dominate the competition. It also results in loads of fun for the shooter. The gun was addicting in fire. Attribute that to both great ergos and performance where it matters. Good shooters can achieve around 2.5" to 3" inch groups achieved at 25 yds off the bench (with fliers at times). However in running, practical shooting drills the accuracy seemed magical; all S&W; 1911s tested so far achieve the same. Major points are reviewed in this video to include frame and slide details, the trigger, the sights (excellent, shot point of aim), the safeties, the finishing, the handsome Cocobolo grip panels, and the balance and feel. The new "E" Series of S&W; 1911s are more visually interesting but I doubt they will improve much on the already-excellent shootablility of these guns. Reilability was not 100% at first due to tight slide to frame fit (failures to go into battery noted ...

San Salvador (1947)

This Scene expresses- FEAR- noun: an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight). noun: a feeling of anxiety and agitation caused by the presence or nearness of danger, evil, pain, etc.; timidity; dread; terror; fright; apprehension. Terrify not your soul with vain imaginary fears. By realizing that you are the one feeding the fire, you can start to take control of your fears. Panic is a vicious cycle that can be broken. When you start to have irrational fears you need to take action quick. Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing, which you think you cannot do." We must stop running away from things that frighten us, face our fears head on, and do the thing we fear the most. Most of the time we'll find out that the "thing" was not that scary after all. Our imaginations had behaved like a super fertilizer and grown a grotesque monstrosity in our minds. Remember, our imaginations are incredibly powerful. They can work against us, creating horrible images that leave us paralyzed with fear and they can also work for us, building a world where everything we do is an adventure, a miracle. And the most amazing thing is that we hold the power to control our minds - we allow fear to dominate our lives or we choose to dominate fear. Those are our only two choices.

Filming took place in Istanbul. Although it is a Hong Kong film, much of the dialogue is in English, particularly during communications between the Chinese characters and the Korean and Turkish characters. Despite having a fairly serious and dark plot in some parts, it still features some humour, as is typical of Chan's films.Shanghai Knights jackie chan ,movie Jackie Chan's Movies افلام جاكي شان English Full Movie Shanghai Knights - English Full Movie
