Murder In Mind S3xE07 Justice (2003) 1/6
Tom is in a state of despair. He still loves wife Helen and daughter Holly, but he's responsible for his marriage breaking down. Tom spent too much time trying to salvage his business and paid little attention to his home life. Tom desperately wants Helen back, but a reconciliation is looking highly unlikely when Helen becomes involved with Alex a police officer. One day when Tom picks Holly up from school there's an altercation between him and a local teen thug named Darren. Tom takes offence when Darren jumps the ice cream queue; and using physical force, he ejects the abusive teenager from the line. First Aired: 6/19/2003

Justice League - Season 2 - Comfort And Joy
After saving two worlds, the members of the Justice League decide to take a break to celebrate the holidays. Flash spends his Christmas Eve with the children of an orphanage, who ask that he find them a special animated toy duck. The popular toy is broken by the Ultra-Humanite, who eventually comes around and helps Flash. Green Lantern and Hawkgirl show each other how they spend the holidays. Lantern engages in a snowball fight with Hawkgirl. Hawkgirl reciprocates by starting an interplanetary barroom brawl. Batman spends Christmas on Watchtower duty; Wonder Woman is not mentioned at all. Meanwhile, Superman invites J'onn over to Smallville for Christmas Eve with his parents. Although J'onn is initially uncomfortable, he eventually learns to enjoy Christmas. Anthrax with John Bush - Lone Justice
Anthrax playing "Lone Justice" on December 7, 2003 at the Odeon in Cleveland, Ohio. I begged the band to play this song for almost a year, so this was pretty much the highlight of my life. John Bush didn't know I was filming this, but I had received permission from management. I'm sorry the picture is crappy, but that is what I get for buying a Canon camcorder. At least I used an external mic. I obtained permission to upload this to Youtube from Charlie Benante.

Justice League - Season 2 - The Terror Beyond
Doctor Fate and Aquaman rescue Solomon Grundy, intent on using him to help battle an ancient evil. The pairing of these heroes is an homage to the Marvel Comics superhero team The Defenders and the plot is based upon HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Hawkgirl's atheism is shaken by Grundy's sacrifice to recover his soul, and to a lesser extent by the reliance of Wonder Woman and Aquaman on their deities when in need. On Assignment
As a climber sometimes our biggest job is to try to do justice to the amazing stories of our friends and peers. For this piece I worked with our crew at http://camp4collective.com to tell http://thenorthface.com athlete Jimmy Chin's http://jimmychin.com story as he in turn highlights modern day climbing in Yosemite for a National Geographic feature story.
It seemed so serendipitous to be 'on assignment' in a place that we all cut out teeth as adventurers and which also ended up becoming the namesake of our collective!
As always, thanks for tuning in! ~reo

Oil in Water
Just messing around one day, with my Canon Rebel XT DSLR.
Oil being poured into a cup of water.
Music by Bonobo // Recurring
edit 4/24 6:30am:
WOW! I'm glad everyone is liking this so much! I really didn't even put any thought into the timing or editing of this. i just went through the sequences i had, in order, and tossed some music over it. The frames are pretty much un-edited. I think I changed the white balance, and added some sharpness, and that was all.
I wish I had an actual video camera, that could capture some of the things I see, when photographing my subjects. IMO the time-lapse looks neat, but does not do it justice.
A lot of people are asking how I did this. It's pretty simple. I just put the camera on its' lowest jpeg setting, placed the camera into continuous mode, and locked the shutter down with my wired remote. The oil is being dumped into a tall cylindrical glass, with about a cup of water in it. The whole thing is lit from behind by a diffused clamp light.

John Roberts on the Most Insignificant Justice Ever
Complete video at: fora.tv Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court John Roberts discusses Gabriel Duval, the man considered by many to be the most historically insignificant Supreme Court Justice of all time. ----- Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States John Roberts delivers the Seventh Annual Barbara K. Olson Memorial Lecture to The Federalist Society. On September 11, 2001, at the age of 45 and at the height of her professional and personal life, Barbara Olson was murdered in the terrorist attacks against the United States as a passenger on the hijacked American Airlines flight that was flown into the Pentagon. The Federalist Society established this annual lecture in Barbara's memory because of her enormous contributions as an active member, supporter, and volunteer leader. Solicitor General Theodore B. Olson delivered the first lecture in November 2001. The lecture series continued in following years with other notable individuals. - The Federalist Society John G. Chief Justice Roberts: Who Opposed the Bill of Rights?
Complete video at: fora.tv Chief Justice John Roberts shares two popular theories as to why the Bill of Rights was not included in the original Constitution. One theory is based on Alexander Hamilton's argument in "Federalist No. 84" that the Constitution is itself a bill of rights, making a Bill of Rights unnecessary and even harmful. ----- As public debate about whether Australia should enhance our constitution by taking up a Bill of Rights, Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court John G. Roberts explores the differences between the US and Australia. The visiting judge was careful to say he didn't have an opinion on whether Australia should or shouldn't go down the Bill of Rights path itself. But, Roberts did illuminate just how torturous and fraught the process was for America, as well as the specific historical circumstances and strong personalities that came into play. Along the way he explores the implications the US Bill of Rights has had on the history of the United States in areas such as property ownership, crime and the abolition of slavery. Outsourcing Justice: Vancouver Police & Marc Emery
On September 28th 2005, the Vancouver Public Library hosted a marijuana law debate called "Cannabis Conundrum". Marc and Jodie Emery attended along with their friend and fellow activist, lawyer Kirk Tousaw. The debate panel included Doug Lang, a Vancouver Police Department veteran of 30 years. One month earlier, the VPD had worked with the DEA and Canada's RCMP to arrest Marc Emery and raid his business. After the debate ended, someone asked about VPD's cooperation in Marc Emery's extradition. Doug Lang explained that the VPD investigated Marc's seed selling in 2002 and took the information to the Crown (the Canadian federal prosecutor) in 2003 to lay charges... ...but the Crown refused to charge Marc in Canada, so the file was picked up by the DEA in the United States. We did not know about the 2003 investigation by the VPD. It's an important example of the injustice of Marc's extradition. This video helps demonstrate that the USA sought extradition based on charges that were refused in Canada, even though Marc operated business in Canada at all times. This is just one of the many questionable aspects of the political persecution of Marc Emery...
