St. Louis, Missouri man charged with Brooklyn Park triple homicide
St. Louis, Missouri man charged with Brooklyn Park triple homicide Five weeks after the brutal slaying of Brooklyn Park daycare provider DeLois Brownand her elderly parents, authorities have charged a St. Louis, Missouri man, a possible relative of Brown's, with the crime. Eddie Matthew Mosley, 34, of St. Louis, Mo, is charged with three counts of second degree murder for the death of 59 year old DeLois Brown and her elderly parents, James and Clover Bolden. The three were found shot to death April 9th at Brown's in-home daycare on College Park Drive in Brooklyn Park. Mosley is currently being held in Wright County on a criminal sexual assault charge. Authorities say that sexual assault charge against Mosley is related to the alleged assault last October of a juvenile who is related to DeLois Brown. At a Brooklyn Park press conference Monday afternoon, law enforcement officials would not say whether Brown and her parents were the intended victims, but they believe Mosley came to Brown's home looking for the juvenile. According to the criminal complaint, Mosely allegedly told the juvenile's mother she needed to make the criminal sexual conduct charge "go away". Authorities said the investigation remains an open case; they would not say whether any other arrests are possible. According to the complaint, authorities have contacted another witness who said he drove Mosely in his black Dodge Durango from St. Louis to Brooklyn Park on April 8. The witness told authorities the ...

A 5-year-old Minnetonka boy died Saturday in an apparent drowning in a swimming pool in St. Louis Park. People began a search in the area. An older child found the missing child in five feet of water at the bottom of the swimming pool, according to the sheriffs office. CPR was administered. The boy was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Hopkins Minnetonka Family Resource Center held an unveiling ceremony for its new name and logo July 7. Eastbound Interstate 94 was closed in Brooklyn Center this morning, after a big rig loaded with 40-thousand pounds of fish rolled on the highway overnight. It happened about 2 am. Crews have been cleaning up the mess ever since. Eastbound I-94 between Brooklyn Boulevard and I-694 was closed through the morning rush hour. The ramps to Shingle Creek Boulevard and southbound I-94 were also closed, although traffic was getting through to eastbound I-694. *** A 5-year-old boy died Saturday in an apparent drowning in a swimming pool in St. Louis Park. Few people showed for the fourth of five public hearings on school attendance boundary changes for the Anoka-Hennepin School District last night at Champlin Park High School. The hearings have not been as highly attended as previous public hearings on school closings, which prompted changing boundaries. Last night only one person spoke to thank the School Board for not changing boundaries for students in the Champlin Elementary School boundary area as that school has been targeted to close. A re-vote of school closings is Monday, Nov. 23 and a new public hearing on school closings is 7 pm Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Blaine High School. For more information visit mnsun.com.
