Vidic vs Vermaelen |Defensive Walls|
Vidic and Vermaelen are known as one of the best, if not the best two centre-backs in England. There quit similar to be honest. There both in there upper 20s , there both just over 6 feet tall (1.80m) They both score alot for centre halfs they would both put there life in play to not concede a goal

Creating Defensive Walls in Minecraft
These are aimed at faction/war servers. Keep in mind that there is virtually no defense that cannot be countered, so be prepared for players getting past your defenses. The song is 'Neo-western' by Kevin Macleod (www.incompetech.com) If you want to learn more about war and strategy in minecraft, I am currently finishing up a series on it on my blog (www.zeemine.wordpress.com) The next post on strategy is on February 7th, and it will detail how to set up an effective attack. Please comment if you have an idea for a video, or want input on an idea for a strategy.

Simulated WALL -Wax slugs for home defense?
We shoot at a sheetrock wall to answer some questions many people had regarding using "wax slugs" as a home defense round. - Coming up a simulated leg-shot over-penetration test. Stay tuned! -Wax slugs are inexpensive "sporting" 12ga rounds, usually around $23 per 100 at Walmart and the tops of the shells are cut off, the small lead shot is mixed with molten wax and poured back into the shell. This "lost art" was revitalized by Youtube channel Iraqvet8888. We are pretty impressed with these rounds and will be showing their use in slow motion. We found that using crayons work quite well and are a tad bit harder since the crayon wax has talc in it. Also the bright colors work well with our high speed cameras. Shells can be color-coded this way too. ----BEFORE YOU TRY MAKING WAX SLUGS---- A guy at AR15.com posted a story of his shotgun blowing up while using wax slugs. I encourage you to read this first. The shotgun was a Maveric (the econo-line from Mossberg). Some say he may have shot a squib (the primer didn't ignite the powder, but caused a barrel obstruction) www.ar15.com - Again, I stress, use these at your own caution.

Minecraft Lava Wall Traps
Defensive features that you can use for PvP (once damage gets implemented). ~Lava door~ When an invading army threatens to attack your castle/city, simply activate the lava door, and they'll be unable to enter your main gate. Still trying to find a possible way to implement this with redstone switches, but not looking likely. ~Lava Wall~ If an invader tries to blow a hole in your defensive wall, they'll be met with a surprise. Lava floods the area, preventing them from entering through the hole they just blew. The alternative is to just sandwich lava in between your walls. But where's the fun in that? I'll post vids of how to make these if requested.

Hipster Cop
http://sparrowmedia.net
There is no question that the relationship law enforcement bodies have developed with activist communities is a pervasive and chilling one. US history has shown time and time again that those who have chosen to speak truth to power often are faced with ridicule, coercion, intimidation, and out-right violence. The Occupy Wall Street movement is only different when you consider the speed in which it has materialized. The rapid growth of the OWS movement has not given some agencies time to adapt and therefore some of the investigative witch hunts associated with the anti-war, animal rights and environmental movements may not rear their ugly heads in this chapter but what we are seeing play out in the streets speaks to a new level of desperation. Grotesque abuse at the hands of rank-and-file NYPD beat cops is causing many to question whether a multi-million dollar support package J.P. Morgan gave to the NYPD means the protests are getting "special" treatment.
Private interests have not only given money to law enforcement, they have also shared intelligence that would have required warrants to obtain, warrants the NYPD and FBI could not get because the movement was not guilty of criminal activity. Gawker has reported that the FBI has been spoon-fed information by Thomas Ryan, a conservative computer expert who supposedly hacked activist forums, sifted through private emails, and issued reports back to both Wall Street firms and the FBI. Ryan also brags to have "infiltrated the movement in hopes to discredit it." Similarly, there has been a half dozen or more reports of ground-level infiltration of the group by plain-clothes officers (some more noticeable then others) which is to be expected with any event of this size, but one of these plain clothes offices has become a pseudo-celebrity as of late.
Detective Rick Lee, Community Relations Detective for Manhattan's 1st Precinct (or "Hipster Cop" as the world has come to know him) is now a larger then life character because of his unconventional dress and cocky attitude. While organizing at Liberty Plaza members of the Sparrow Media team were asked by a news agency if we had additional information about Lee, so we compiled some footage and info. In the big picture of the struggle against corporate greed Lee is nothing more then a pawn, but it is important to note law enforcements attempt to coerce and destabilize our movements. Even though it is hysterical to read comedian Jamie Killstein come to his defense saying "Guys! Stop making fun of #hipstercop! He's trying to find himself." or to read the myriad tumblr references to his style, it is important to remember Hipster Cop is part of the process of intimidation, ridicule, an violence being levied against us.
Please practice good security culture and keep in mind that as things continue to ramp up nation-wide so will the response from law enforcement. Try to also not let your security protocols cripple your groups with paranoia, instead simply practice good security and fairness with the people around you. Lastly remember if they are not paying attention, then you are doing something wrong. Right now you guys are winning, keep it up!

ROA - SF
White Walls Gallery- San Francisco
April 9- May 7, 2011
Street artist ROA got his start by painting intriguing murals of animals in hidden places – underneath bridges and on walls that strayed from the beaten path. A darling of the underground street art scene, photos of his work regularly appear on Vandalog, Brooklyn Street Art, Wooster Collective, Unurth, and a fury of London newspapers and blogs running to his defense when a street piece he did in Hackney faced removal late last year. ROA is earnestly repopulating the cityscape with animals, as a way to have them re-enter the contemporary landscape that was once theirs. With a style all his own.

The "No-No" Word for 2010-Introducing the P413x Plan of "Can-Do" Christianity
JOURNEY 2010: LIVING IN THE WILL OF GOD
This year I am calling Journey 2010. This is the year we journey closer to God as a church, as families, and as His children.
In order to do this we must embrace God’s Truth, and allow His truth to change our want to’s into His want to’s. Our Journey 2010 is all about what John wrote in 2 John 1:4 – “living the life of truth, as the Father himself instructed us”. Walking in the truth, Living out the truth, following the way of truth, abiding in the truth.
In the movie City Slickers, Billy Crystal plays a radio advertising salesman going through a mid-life crisis. He and his friends deal with the humdrumness of life by participating in a cattle drive from New Mexico to Colorado—an experience that turns out to be a kind of epiphany for all of them. At the end of the movie as they prepare to return to New York and the familiar routine, Billy Crystal explains to one of those friends the concept of a “do-over.”
Crystal is addressing his pal who, nearing 40, feels he is at a dead-end. "I've wasted my life." Brunno Kirby's character laments:
I'm at a dead end. I'm almost
40 years old. I've wasted my life.
Yeah, but now you got
a chance to start over. You know?
Phil, remember when we were kids? And we'd be playing ball and the ball would get stuck up in a tree?
And we'd yell "Do over!" Huh?
Yeah. You got a clean slate..
Crystal tells him that he can start over again. His life can be a do-over.
Phil Berquist: You know you were right, Mitch. My life is a "do-over". It's time to get started.
Mitch Robbins: I hope I can help.
Ed Furillo: Now I'm gonna go home, and I'm gonna get Kim pregnant.
Mitch Robbins: I hope I can help.
Something like that happens every January 1. We all get a “do-over"—another chance to do it right. If 2009 was a tough year for you, cheer up. It’s a brand-new year!
There is a biblical perspective we need to remember at the beginning of a new year. It’s a perspective that’s wrapped up in one simple word. If you remember not to use this particular word this year, your chances of succeeding are going to go through the roof. In fact, I think you’ll be happier if you make a decision here and now to cut this word right out of your vocabulary.
Cutting this one word from your life will force you to open your eyes to God, to His greatness. That is what Journey 2010 is all about-discovering the greatness of our Creator God.
Perhaps you saw the recent news report of the Mom who had a heart attack while delivering her baby. The baby was delivered by emergency C Section (without anesthesia) and her newborn baby was delivered without a heartbeat as well.
Dr Martin said she did not have a "great explanation" for why Mrs Hermanstorfer's heartbeat returned.
"Somewhere between four and five minutes she had been without heart rate and had stopped breathing a minute or two prior to her heart stopping," she said.
The doctors were then able to resuscitate the baby.
Despite tests, she said doctors were still not sure about what had happened.
However Mrs Hermanstorfer and her husband Mike have said they believed it was down to a miracle.
She said: "I got a second chance in life."
Dr Martin said she would take help from wherever it came.
This world ignores God. Clearly God was at work here. Perhaps he has great plans for this baby. The world just looks the other way rather than give glory to God.
This year I want to Give Glory to God! I want this to be a Hallelujah Year. So by official Pastoral Proclamation I am banning one word from use at Pleasant Prairie. That word is “CAN’T”. If you catch anyone saying this word at church, it will be a $5 fine. If I use it in a sermon after today, fine me $5.
That’s right. The one word you shouldn’t say in 2010 is the little word can’t.
We use it all the time, don’t we?
We say, “I can’t lose weight.”
“I just can’t seem to save money.”
“I try and try but I can’t find the time to read the Bible.”
“After what she did, I can’t forgive her.”
“No matter how hard I try, I can’t change, I can’t quit smoking, quit ….”
If 2010 is to be a year of Journeying with our Mighty God, it will be a CAN DO year.
In order to understand and embrace this wonderful CAN DO God, we need to understand a few “CAN’T”S from God’s Word. These Can not’s help understand how we can live in God’s will.
So here are the foundational Truth’s for our Journey into the Will of God and seeing Him as our CAN DO GOD!
Amazingly Gained by the way God used cannot in the New Testament
God Limited:
Accept Yourself: Mt 5:36 And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black.
God is It!: Mt 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. 1 Cor 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the

At 01:13 you can see on the upper right 2 Orionids – they are part of Orionid meteor shower, associated with Halley's Comet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orionids
We supposed that the first one just exploded in the Earth’s atmosphere and the second one is a perfect meteor shower. The small lights at the bottom right of the screen are from Borovets ski resort and Musala summit – the highest peak in the Balkan Peninsula, standing at 2 925 m (9 596 ft).
Look at 01:45 – this is the Elenska Basilica, a large partially preserved late Roman (early Byzantine) Christian basilica in west central Bulgaria. Dating to the 5th–6th century AD. The initially domeless basilica, which features thick walls and defensive towers, had a dome added in the mid-6th century, during the reign of Justinian I. The church was ruined in the early 18th century, during the Ottoman rule of Bulgaria. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elenska_Basilica

Dubrovnik In Your Pocket - Dubrovnik City Walls (Gradske zidine)
dubrovnik.inyourpocket.com Almost two kilometers in length, Dubrovnik's city walls are among the best preserved and most attractive on this planet, and a walk along them is an absolute must. The defenses were built between the 8th and the 16th century. The fact that on the land side they are almost 6m thick in places shows their primary purpose as defense against attack from the mountainous hinterland -- the Ottoman Empire, for example, lay just a few kilometers inland. The walls were strengthened by myriad towers and bastions, and were never breached -- the Republic of Dubrovnik only fell after Napoleon's armies were invited in on condition that they would respect its independence. Two further fortresses, Revelin to the east and Lovrijenac, on a headland just west of the Old Town, provided additional strategic defense. Revelin is a venue for concerts during the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. Lovrijenac is one of the most atmospheric venues of the festival, with traditional performances of Hamlet taking place under the stars. Your ticket to the city walls includes entrance to Lovrijenac, and its well worth visiting. It was for some time used as a prison, and is surrounded by delightful parkland with some of the best views of the city, a great picnic spot.
