Demonstrators say cartridges retrieved from the scene are branded with the name and address of Combined Systems Inc (CSI). The firm is located in Jamestown, Pennsylvania. It specialises in supplying what it calls "crowd control devices" to armies and "homeland security agencies" around the world. It also manufactures lethal military equipment. Protesters say the CS gas seems more powerful than that used by Egyptian police during the country's last popular uprising in February. Diving "Ras Mohammad" Red Sea (Egypt) using GoPro Hero2
Diving some sites in the "Ras Mohammad National Park" in the Red Sea (Egypt). I'm using a GoPro Hero2 mounted onto my head using the standard head strap. Because of this, bubbles from the exhaust get in front of the camera when I'm not looking downwards. The rest of the time the bubbles shake the camera but the effect is negligible. Mounted on the camera is a BlurFix lens kit + the standard UV-lens (sadly without color correction which would be really useful on these dives). Dive date was the 3rd of July 2012. Depth approximately 25 meters and bottom time approximately 60 minutes per dive. Water temperature was 28 degrees celsius with a visibility of about 30 meters. The wreck in the video is a cargo ship ("Yolanda") containing toilet supplies.

Difficulty: 6/10 This is a fairly standard destroy the HQ mission, but with a 30 minute time limit. The best strategy for tis level is to start by capturing the nearby neutral buildings with your tanks, upgrade your current buildings, and capure the neutral research facility with airstrikes. From there, hold the enemy tanks at the research center (or the windmill nearby), and begin to capture enemy buildings using airstrikes. First, destroy enemy AA turrets with fighters/bombers, then follow up with bombers/triplers to destroy the building itself. things to note: 1: this mission can be easily won using upgraded artillery on the left sid of the map. 2: ths is the first mission where heavy units make an appearance. www.euronews.com Around fifty people, mostly children, have been killed in a bus crash in Egypt. The accident happened in the city of Manfalut, 300 km south of the capital Cairo. It's understood a train slammed into the vehicle as it crossed tracks with witnesses reporting that the barriers were open at the time. The country's road and railways have a poor safety standard and this latest tragedy has led to the resignation of Transport Minister Mohamed Rashad and the head of the railways authority. The Egyptian President, Mohamed Mursi, said he had decided to refer all those responsible to the Prosecutor General and would do everything in his power to speed up the investigations in order to discover the reason for the tragic accident. The bus was broken in half by the force of the impact and officials said the identification of the bodies would be difficult because of the injuries suffered by those killed. Prime Minister Hisham Kandil travelled to the scene and reiterated the president's intention of ordering an investigation into the accident. **Sorry about the spotty camera work, lot's of commotion going on at the time** When we went to visit my parents for Thanksgiving, in Arizona, one of their mares decided to drop her horse about a month earlier than planned. When we got there it was about 6 hours old. It's amazing how quickly they get to their feet. Half of the time, while out in the pasture, the baby was just laying on the ground at it's mother's feet resting in the Autumn sunshine. Follow me to glimpse a scene where we find a teenager too young to enlist in the Army. He is bringing a care package for his brothers when he witnesses a disturbing sight. The entire Army of mighty men is cowering in fright because of one enemy soldier. The taunting of one enemy soldier has brought the Army of God to their knees in fear. Then this young boy gets riled up and wants to fight this enemy soldier. He goes out to face him, and the enemy soldier known as Goliath makes fun of the young boy. “Am I a dog that come at me with sticks”

As we celebrate Independence Day, our Journey through Joshua brings us to Joshua 10, providing us a glimpse at the longest day in the history of this world. At the end of that hard day of fighting we can imagine Joshua and his men breaking out in this song:

Joshua 10 reveals the truth that we had better learn to grasp in our life, the truth that David learned even in his youth, a truth that America used to embrace:
THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S.
We can say God is Loving and merciful and forgiving, but unless we realize that God is EL GIBBOR God the Mighty Warrior, we will never truly understand the nature of God.
We first see God called El Gibbor in Deuteronomy 10:17. Moses in Deuteronomy 9 & 10 is preparing His people for their crossing into the promised land. He is reminding them of all God has done over the past 40 years. The way He miraculously delivered them from Egypt and how he sustained them in the desert wilderness. He recounts how God gave him the 10 commandments, not once, but twice. He reminds them of His covenant with them and how they must submit and not be stiff-necked. For the Lord our God is God of Gods and Lord of Lords, MIGHTY (Gibbor) and Awesome. (deut 10:17)
When Israel started to stray from the Lord after they had entered the promised land, Judges 2:15 reveals “Every time Israel went out to battle, the Lord fought against them, causing them to be defeated, just as he had warned. And the people were in great distress.”
If America does not return to our Confession and belief in “One Nation Under God” we run the risk of finding ourselves fighting against God and suffering defeat in our battles, causing great distress here at home.
THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S AND GOD IS ALWAYS ON THE WINNING SIDE. GOD IS THE WINNING SIDE.
When we get in step with El Gibbor, we will find that He is the Mighty Warrior, and no foe, no problem, no obstacle is too great for Him to defeat.

Persevering to a Sacred History
Fourth Sermon in our "Sacred Marriage" series based upon the book "Sacred Marriage" by Gary Thomas
While at Baptist Bible College it was common to have conversations with a friend about some gal that had captured their heart and now they were considering asker her to marry them. My standard reply was to imagine falling into a dark bottomless pit and all the way down you could see the words flashing in neon "Forever Forever Forever" It was a not so subtle reference to the bottomless pit that Satan will be cast into one day.
There would be an occasional chuckle, or nervous laugh, but the truth was in our minds that marriage was a serious undertaking that impacted the rest of your life. In 1870 a wife would be lucky if her husband lived past the time the youngest child left home. In 1911 the average marriage lasted 28 years. By 1967 that average had reached 42 years. Paul Harvey got to the point that he wouldn't even mention your anniversary unless it was 60 and most of the time 70 years of marriage.
Now 70 years of marriage would seem like an eternity to most folks. But with medical care advancing, if a couple stays together, it is no big deal anymore to see at least their 50th anniversary. We have at least three folks in our church that have been married over 60 years.
What this means is that you hae an opportunity to build a real history with each other. Now with digital cameras, you might be able to remember it all.
HISTORY AS A TIMELINE:
With our American brains we see time as a line with various dates and events marked on it. It is a linear view of history. Time is the determiner of when things happen. We got married May 18 1974. We had children on such and such a date, we bought this house on a certain date, we sold and bought another house, etc. The kids went to this school at such and such a date, graduated from High School College etc. Everything fits on the timeline of our life.
BIBLICAL VIEW OF TIME AND HISTORY
To understand how marriages have the opportunity to enjoy “Sacred History” it would be helpful to understand a Biblical view of History.
This is where an understanding of ancient Jewish view of History comes into play.
The ancient Hebrew perception of time was not abstract like our modern view; instead, it was connected to the idea of specific events, and because of this event specific orientation the people of Israel "found the idea of a time without a particular event quite inconceivable" [Von Rad, v. 2, page 100]. So, for the ancient Jews the concept of "time" was understood only in relation to particular events: There is a time of giving birth (Mic. 5:2), a time for animals to be gathered together (Gen. 29:7), a time when kings go forth to battle (II Sam. 11:1).
The tree yields its fruit 'in its time' (Ps. I. 3), and God gives his creatures food 'in due time' (Ps. CIV. 27); that is to say, every event has its definite place in the time-order; the event is inconceivable without its time... [Von Rad, v. 2, page 100].
Psalm 31:15 which reads, "My times are in thy hands" [KJV,RSV].
The Jews of David’s time did not think of time like we do, they viewed life as being made of many times, or a series of times.
BIBLICAL JEWS SAW GOD AS THE LORD OF HISTORY
Specifically, the Jews saw time as a series of specific events initiated by God. Time did not exist as an independent reality, but existed only in relation to divinely initiated events.
I will use my wife as an example of how the Jews viewed history.
My wife views our history not by dates but by whom she was pregnant with at the time. I’ll mention a partucular event and say when did that happen and she’ll say – well it had to be so and so year because Redeptshe was pregnant with Tonya or somebody else. If it happened when she wasn’t pregnant with any one, she can’t remember it or can’t recall the year. Her concept of time is totally event related.
All of their festivals and observances celebrated a redemptive act of God. The exact time was not important, but their celebration and identifying with what God did was important.
I believe in heaven that time will cease to exist. We will simply live in events in happenings. We’ll be able to participate in the crossing of the Red Sea. We’ll be able to watch as Jesus feeds the multiture. We’ll watch as Peter walks and then falls into the Sea. We’ll watch as Jesus rescues him.
It won’t be a movie, it will be the real thing. Time will cease to exist, and we will be totally event oriented.
It will be totally about seeing how God has redeemed us and mde us trophies of His grace.
GOD’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL

The Will of God Is...pt 1
What exactly is the Will of God and how does it impact my life? This sermon begins with a special annointing service for Linda, who has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. The will of God is something we all struggle with.
When I was a young man of 11, my next door neighbors, the Magyars, had a cute baby boy named Joey. I remember playing with him when he was about 2. One day I learned that he was dying of Leukemia. In fact he died rather suddenly, before he turned 3. What was really strange was that the Magyars and their daughter I was friends with, never spoke of Joey again. When I went to their house I would walk by Joey’s bedroom door, and it was shut, never open. I found out later they never went into his room after the funeral. They kept it exactly as it was the day he died.
This was probably the first time I had encountered death, and it raised a lot of questions? Was God behind this? Did God plan for Joey to die? Why did the Magyars, who were Jewish, get mad at their God? Did they think God had made a mistake? As a young teen I had no answers for them. I had no idea of God or His involvement in our every day lives.
As I grew older and became exposed to God’s Word, my concept of God started to change.
As a free thinking, free will young man I found myself thinking that God has an overall will or plan in mind. However, He leaves the details to us; after all we have a free choice. So much of what happens in this world depends upon us-our faith, our prayers, our evangelistic efforts. In fact, God must rely upon us in His overall battle with Satan. Now Satan will lose in the end, but He is constantly trying to mess things up, to get people to hate or doubt or turn away from God. I know longer think this based upon how God reveals himself in His Word, but I fear this sort of thinking is held by more “Christians” than you realize. I thought this way one time, and I am still tempted to think this way. I would wager that many of you have thought this way about the Will of God.
In Bible College I became exposed to traditional teaching on God. I learned of His:
Immutability: God cannot change in any way and is not able to change.
Impassibility: God is without emotion. God does not experience pain or pleasure. God is not subject to temptation or sin at all.
Omnipotence: God has all power, which includes complete sovereignty over all things.
Omnipresence: God is everywhere and in fact God transcends space and time.
Omniscience: God has all knowledge, including of all past, present, and future events.
These attributes were backed up by verses like these:
Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
1Sa 15:29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
God's Will and "Open Theism"
Back to the way I think many Christians view God. It is actually taking form as a modern day theology called "Open Theism". It began in the Pentecostal, Assembly of God schools and has spread to Evangelical churches and Seminaries. It makes sense in light of the "me-focused" spirituality many Christians practice.
Practically, open theism makes the case for a personal God who is open to influence through the prayers, decisions, and actions of people. Although many specific outcomes of the future are unknowable, God's foreknowledge of the future includes that which is determined as time progresses often in light of free decisions that have been made and what has been sociologically determined. So God knows everything that has been determined as well as what has not yet been determined but remains open. As such, he is able to anticipate the future, yet remains fluid to respond and react to prayer and decisions made either contrary or advantageous to His plan or presuppositions.
They give several Scripture passages to make their case:
• Genesis 6:6-7 (KJV) God repents of his decision to make man and destroys mankind with a flood.
• Exodus 13:17 (KJV) And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

I know that none of you has knowingly and willingly made a league with the devil. But I would venture that you entered into a contract, a friendship, perhaps a marriage, that turned out to be destructive and detrimental, or at best that you regretted. Have you ever signed a contract and then regretted it later?
Contracts come in different forms. There is the obvious contract such as a real estate or auto purchase contract. There is the financing note contract. There are also less obvious contracts. A Wedding license is a contract that both bride and groom must sign to give them legal standing in the state in which they live. A credit card receipt is a contract stating you will pay for the items you received. A sales receipt is a contract that states you received these items for such and such an amount. Behind all purchases is a warranty contract unless you buy something “as is”. There is not much that you bring into your home that does not have some sort of contract attached to it.
Groceries, Furniture, Electronics, Toys, Cable Service, Phone Service, Utility Service, all come with agreements or contracts, whether implied or written. In the Old Testament, when you invited someone into your home to dine with you, it implied a contract or agreement that meant you were providing hospitality to them. That agreement of hospitality meant that what is yours is theirs.
Marriage was never entered into lightly, because it involved the uniting of two families. That meant that the cultures, practices, religious observances were being united. It was a serious thing to marry someone of a differ
