This is the Holy route for Sabarimala which begins from Erumeli to Pampa in Forest by Foot. This is also called "Trek route " or "Pedda Padam" or "Periya Padam". The route is via Peroorthodu, Irumbunnikara, Arasumudikotta, Kaalaketti, Azhutha, Azhutha River,Kallidum Kunnu,Inchipara Kota,Mukkuzhi,Kariyilam Thodu,Karimala,Valiana Vattom, Cheriana Vattom and Pampa River. We started at 7.30 AM from Erumeli and stayed some where in forest for night. and Early in the morning we walked to Pampa and we reached pampa at 7.00 Am. This is Total 49 KM and 7 KM from Pampa river to Sannidhanam.
