Boxing Men's Super Heavy (+91kg) Round of 16 Full Replay from the ExCeL - South Arena 2 at the London 2012 Olympic Games. -- 1 August 2012 Boxing made its Olympic debut at the 1904 Games in St Louis, since then boxing has been staged at each edition of the Games, except in 1912 in Stockholm, owing to Swedish law, which forbade the practice. The rules have evolved since the 1980s: 1984 in Los Angeles: protective helmet obligatory; 1992 in Barcelona: set-up of an electronic scoring system to strengthen the objectivity of refereeing; 2007: standardised point scoring. Atos- Jacques Rogge IOC's IT Partnership
Jacques Rogge praises the role of Atos. At London 2012, Atos has brought new innovation to the Olympic Games delivering personal bests through its IT. "The enormous change, both in the format of the sport and in the technology surrounding the sport, the way communication is being used today, the use of social media -- you have to adapt to that and you have to be very flexible."

Leaping high for gold - Yelena Isinbaeva - Russia - Athens 2004 Olympic Games
Yelena Isinbaeva started out as a gymnast in Volgograd until the age of 15. However, as she kept on growing, she moved into athletics which would prove to be a great choice. Arriving at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, Isinbaeva was already a world record holder and therefore a favourite; however she had placed third in the World Championships. Yelena Isinbaeva had already missed two attempts for 4.70 and 4.75 metres, leaving her in third place, with fellow Russian athlete Svetlana Feofanova leading. In a jump that could define a bronze or gold medal, she made her final attempt directly for 4.80m. This time, a perfect jump took Isinbaeva to the lead. Yelena Isinbaeva still came back to pass the 4.85m barrier and after that settle a new world record at 4.91m.
