Isolated tribe man meets modern tribe man for the first time - Original Footage full
Jean-Pierre Dutilleux Stated; "If the Toulambis are actors, we should give them a César Award." The Toulambi In the XXI century the team of Jean-Pierre Dutilleaux explorer and ethnographer had the privilege to contact in 1998, after many obstacles, with Los Toulambis a tribe that had never seen a white man, or had been involved with the outside world. Jean-Pierre Dutilleux was born in Malmedy, Belgium is director, anthropologist, explorer and defender of Indian rights In 1973 he made his first contact with the hostile tribe Txuccaramaes (those who hit with sticks strokes) of the Kayapo, the savage heart of Matto Grosso, there almost lost his life in the hands of the tribe, the chief Raoni saved his life . Since then, Jean Pierre was dedicated to saving the territory of this tribe, of government of that country, making a world tour with the chief Raoni where senior leaders received, the nobility and Pope John Paul II Raoni's message was "My name is Raoni, I am the chief of the Kayapo. People are destroying the forest, are wiping out wildlife, fatally wounding my people, killing the Earth. Help me, before it is too late! " Dutellieux visited the most remote places in search of primitive tribes, such as the Toulambis living in the Stone Age and are being decimated by logging of their forests, and diseases like malaria. The Tribe That Hides From Man (1970)
The Kreen-Akrore are a forest Indian tribe living in the Amazon basin of Brazil who successfully managed to evade the cameras and crew accompanying the Villas Boas brothers during their attempt to make first contact with these hostile and entirely unknown people. The search for the Kreen-Akrore lends itself to a documentary style which uses the conventions of narrative cinema, unfolding the events chronologically, while building up the tension and suspense of the search: for example subjective' shots are utilised to give the impression of what it is like to be watched, by unseen eyes in a hostile jungle. Some of the scenes are clearly staged, thus helping to reconstruct the events and tensions of the search

The Tarahumara - A Hidden Tribe of Superathletes Born to Run
Nestled in northern Mexico and the canyons of the Sierra Madre Occidental is a small tribe of indigenous people known as the Tarahumara. They call themselves Rarámuri, loosely translated as "running people," "foot-runner," "swift of foot," or "he who walks well." They are known for evading the Spanish conquerors in the sixteenth century and keeping their cave-dwelling culture alive and secluded. They are also known for their long distance running and their superior health, not displaying the common health issues of "modern" societies. A recent National Geographic study (Nov. 2008) states: "When it comes to the top 10 health risks facing American men, the Tarahumara are practically immortal: Their incidence rate is at or near zero in just about every category, including diabetes, vascular disease, and colorectal cancer...Plus, their supernatural invulnerability isn't just limited to their bodies; the Tarahumara have mastered the secret of happiness as well, living as benignly as bodhisattvas in a world free of theft, murder, suicide, and cruelty." So what is the Tarahumara story and what can we learn from them? How can we use their history as an example for our own primal living? For some they may not be an example of what is considered primal, but they are one of the closest we can find in today's world. liveprimal.com

WATER TRIBE NOODLES, Legend of Korra, Feast of Fiction S2 Ep3
RT: bit.ly Facebook: on.fb.me Water Tribe Noodles Ingredients: Broth: Fish stock Green onions (1 stalk) Ginger (1 thumb) Water Noodles: 2 cups of flour 1 tsp of spirulina (or any other green material mixable with flour) 1/4 tsp of salt 3/4 cup of water To make the broth, you're going to need a base ingredient to infuse the water with flavor with when you're cooking it. There are many vegetarian options out there as well if you're not a fan of the taste of fish. Go to your local grocery and be on the lookout for fish bones, usually the best tasting fish for broths are leaner white fish like Halibut, Cod or Flounder. We went with a very simple broth since we assumed the water tribes in the world of Avatar and Legend of Korra would have used very few ingredients given their location in the world and the kind of produce available to them. However, should you wish to spruce up your broth more, you can add a variety of ingredients to the broth like carrots, onions, celery, etc. Do a quick google search for "how to make a fish broth" for some ideas! Alright, let's get cookin! Cut the bottoms off of the stalks of the green onions. Cut a slice of ginger off and pound it until it splits. Rinse off your fish bones with water. Add all these ingredients to a pot and fill it with water until it reaches about 2/3 of the way up. Any higher and it will likely spill over if it boils or becomes to hot. Place the pot on the stove and bring it to a simmer. Once it nears a simmer you should be ...
