This ride on the Skippack Trail was taken on July 27, 2013. I only rode a mile of so on this trail and the video is the return trip to the Perkiomen Trail. I plan on riding this again and taking it to downtown Skippack to check out some stores. Here is a description taken from TrailLink.com: The pathway follows the Perkiomen Creek for its first half mile before heading east past a residential area. Here, you'll head up a large hill, under a set of power lines. At about mile 2 from the Perkiomen Trail, the Skippack Trail splits; one branch goes north to the picturesque Village of Skippack. The trail's eastern end offers wide open landscapes and ends near Evansburg State Park, a scenic recreational area bisected by Skippack Creek. Find more information at: http://www.traillink.com.
BIEBER MEDLEY
Thanksgiving morning ride with Elliot and Linda from UDHS to Skippack Wawa. A little misty start but still a great day to pre-empt the Turkey feast.
Six sets smoked on Saturdays
At Barnaby's on State
Countless California calls
We could not stand the wait
We played the pier on Venice beach
The crowd called out for more
Zappa and the Mothers next
We finished with a roar
Jimi was so kind to us
Had us on the tour
We got some education
Like we never got before
Around the world in twenty days
We played most every night
Jet-lag, girls, strange languages
Everyone began to fight
Lowdown at the Caribou
All rumours aside
Was we could never get together
Not unless we tried
Summer with the Beach Boys
We got sand all in our shoes
Made some special music
Everybody sang the blues
