I'm waiting for something new
The rain washes my thoughts away
I'm longing to sing this song
To show you, to hold you
I'm so nervous, so excited
You make me feel, feel I'm not alone
It's too easy to cry
When everything eventually dies
If not today than maybe tomorrow
Don't let that thought slip away,
Let it come out and play.
It takes you down
At the speed of sound
When you're underground
You never think you'll get out.
Up and around
Then it goes down
The thought that you found
Takes you to town
Smashes your face, burns at your heart,
Then you go home and turn it in to art.
It's not easy to die
No matter how dumb you are you eventually rise
If not today then maybe tomorrow.
Don't let that soul get away,
Let it fly till your dying day.
This is the chance
For one last glance at why.
Don't cry for the time you lost in your life. Kiss them
goodbye and see what's left. I know it's you, I know it's
you. I'm blistering to winds coming in from Africa to
When I'm in the club
I'm always on a drug
If you get a hug
Guess what drug
I'm on ecstasy
In miami!
Bienvenido a Miami!
Where are you we're gettin' high
But only on our own supply
It's the truth we never lie
Whatever I do I'm ready to die
In the new school learnin' to fly
Never follow the rules don't ask me why
We're by the pool waiting to dry
When I'm in the club
I'm always on a drug
If you get a hug
Guess what drug
I'm on ecstasy
In Miami!
Bienvenido a Miami!
Where are you gettin' high
But only on our own supply
It's the truth but you never lied
Whatever I do I'm ready to die
The new school learn their ???
Never thought of us
Don't ask me why
Ready to drop
When I'm in the club
I'm always on a drug
If you get a hug
Guess what drug
I'm on ecstasy
In Miami!
I never thought about you this winter
I never thought about you this spring
But now when the summer is here
I never thought I think about you again
You smoke like a young Belmondo
You wear flowers in your hair
When you were always too late
I still waited for you in the sweet summer air
So i wonder my love, are you still in Vallda
Like ten summers ago ?
So i wonder my love, are you still in Vallda
Like ten summers ago ?
Someday I know we'll meet again
But I said that every summer
And every summer is a summer
And now, when the end is near
I know you meant every tear you gave to me that year
We were all alone when the sunlight hit our bones
As the stream carried us home
Take it for what it's worth
Those days that we walked the earth
Remember how much it hurts
Just a tiny taste
Don't let us go to waste
But to them, in that time and place
And now, my heart will go on
It's burned from broken hearts
Right the words of every song
When you made up your mind
I'll be in every town
Wanna hear my masterplan?
Heres my masterplan.
Wanna hear my masterplan?
Here is my masterplan.
Hear my masterplan.
Fear my masterplan.
Me and my baby, now you know the deal
There's no maybes be all you wanna be
Who are you? I knew you are me.
There's nothing you can do
I'm on my way. Where are you?
They tell you you'll never win
Don't mind lets go for a swim
Believe what your dreams may bring
Now you will do something
And now when I'm so free
Take a chance on me
All I've left is my soul
Fall left me with this winter so cold
Take me away
Like an overdose on heroin
Baby, we were born for fun
Or maybe to sleep in the sun
A place where new waves come in
A place you'll be here
Let go
Let the wind blow
Back your head tonight
Let's go
Let your friend know
That you're here on a beach by my side
Called me today on the phone
The sun guided me home
I'll never be alone again
'cause I've got a friend
Let go
Let your skin show
That you've been in the sun today
Let's go
Let your mind blow
You get up every morning by the echoes of your dream
Getting hit by life and a world that intervenes
It's not easy getting out of bed
It's not easy getting it out of your head
And it feels like everything is right
And it feels like as you step into the light
It's the life I chose to live
It is all I have to give
I take my time to perfect the beat
I still got love
I keep it neat
At last the town's on fire and I'm on my way
You heard that before, I know
A lonely gun for hire with nowhere to stay
You heard that before, I know
And what about my princess, the one I left behind
You heard that before, I know
She's maybe someone's mistress course she's far too kind
You heard that before, I know
I know you heard this before
Even though I act like a whore
I think you're a bore
I won't tell you in letters anymore
We shared a dream of armies marching hand in hand
You heard that before, I know
No fingers on the trigger, no leaders no land
You heard that before, I know
Forgive me for trying, I know I said I'll quit
You heard that before, I know
But I'm forced to give my all, when no one gives a shit
Golden Virginia
In my eye, in my eye [x5]
My heart left
The heart I knew
It my head
A demon lay, where could I stay?
It won't go away
I look after
After
I don't know why
I think I'm falling in love
I just found out
I don't know what to do
I could have done it 4000 days or so
Just one single minute so you know
I love you so in my dreams at night
Your visions are sharp shining and bright
I tried to tell my friends, but they think I'm insane
When you're around, theres no need to explain.
I've been around, and so have you to flow
But now I've found that you have other people I've met
I keep following you to places
I've already been to -- still feels new.
I love you so, but its getting old
Without events up at hand I'll never fold
Told my friends but they remain the same
When I'm with you every day is a beautiful day
And now I cherish every moment when we're together
And you laid away can want it or become it.
Living next door to challenge
Things will never be the same again
I close my eyes and remember
A place in the sun
Where we used to live
You're sneaking around out there
Hoping that I step on out
He longs for me, and someday we
Will go downtown
To Levy's bar
Ask someone who knew me
They will never be the same again
They tell their lives through sunken eyes
Inside a song, it makes me cry
Even though I know
This ship will still sail on
Long after I'm gone
Gone...I will be gone
In this world of wisdom
No one never really has a clue
They kill their lives every day
With what they say and what they do
Heaven knows I know
That the ship will still sail on
Long after I'm gone
i never ever wanna go home
unless i'll be left alone
i hope u know who you are
cos this, this is a last good bye
6 months i'll die
you know why?
i know, in heaven i'll never cry
but in hell it's never dry
my time is here now
# i swear to tell the truth
# the whole truth, and nothing but the truth
Always on vacation
Blame it on my occupation
Sentenced twenty to life
No escapin' this
Now in violation
Due to my determination
Sentenced twenty to life
That's why I'm escapin' this
Got caught in the act
With nothing, in fact
I'm just a kid with my breath to lose
And now, I know that my one biggest mistake was someone
else's
If you ask me why, I couldn't tell you why
[Charles Manson:
Remorseful for what? You people have done everything in
the world to me! Doesn't that give me equal right? I
can do anything I want to you people, and anytime I
want to, because that's what you've done to me! If you
spit in my face and smack me in the mouth and throw me
in solitary confinement for nothing... what do you
think is gonna happen when I get out of here?!]
Yeah...
Oh, no, so you wanna know what I know?
I'm me, what's new?
So now who the fuck are you?
My hood, s'all good
Keep ya feelin' like ya knew I would
So hungry, so young
Lay back, ya know that song
My way, what it look like?
All day, with a glide
Never lose, never choose to
Confuse you
What we do
Wanna do us, sue us?
Wanna do us like ya knew us?
And you don't know us
Ooh, ooh, ooh,
You do what you do
Ooh, ooh, ooh,
We do what we do
[Lil' Wayne:
Go by the name of Weezie F.
An fuck em out the belly store with ten bags?
Fly as a mother fucker girly on my staple
Cause her friends say Im a tummy sucker
Don't go below the navel
I'm up in Lil Haiti
I'm blowing on Jamaica
I'm in the pimp a beemer
I'm with a salt shaker
Now I'm in Dade County
I see some thick bitches
I try to holla at em
But they all trick bitches
I think Trina sexy
Mama ya wine fine
And on the hush hush
We need some quiet time
Yea I'm a ridah ma
The Birdman's boy
He on CA$H MONEY

Yea and I put her on CA$H MONEY
She start wobbling that ass for me
She start modeling
She see the models in the Maybach

See a fly nigga baby yea I don't trip
Just give em little thigh?
Mama give em little hip
Give em little thigh
Mama give em little hip
Then you give em little wind up
Give em a little nip]
Ooh, you do what you do,
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
We do what we do
[Mostly indecipherable]
My swag, my life
Big city, long night
It's time, my time
I'm yours, your mine
Good times, on the run
No more silly crime
Clear skies, no lies
Get on your lone surprise
I'm finding I
I know, where people go
When they know how to breathe slow
They lay low
Don't want the world to know
Wake up, boy you better shake up
The things in your head
So you can be alone
When you're alone, I am alone
All I ever want to know
Is why you never let it show
When you're around me
When you're in me
Why don't you tell me
You know I believe you
Take me for granted
It's all I ever wanted
Why don't you get it
Before we lost it...we lost it
Make up your mind
For the time that drove us to break up
Say it isn't so
Boy I let you go
I know, want to tell you
Where to go
We should know by now
I always gave my all
To want my love
I don't ever mind the things you said
But I remember every word I read
Go let it out, if you scream I will shout
Open your mouth, what are you about
You're looking for divine
If you leave I will shine
Next time you see me...
I'm grindin' until I'm tired
They say you ain't grindin' until you die
So, I'm grindin' with my eyes wide
Lookin' to find a way through the day
The life of the night
Dear Lord, you took so many of my people
I'm just wondering why you haven't taken my life
What the hell am I doing right?
What the hell am I doing right?
I'm grindin' until I'm tired
They say you ain't grindin' until you die
So, I'm grindin' with my eyes wide
Lookin' to find a way through the day
The life of the night
Dear Lord, you took so many of my people
I'm just wondering why you haven't taken my life
What the hell am I doing right?
Na na na na na na na, it goes around the world
Someday, I know we'll meet again
Without knowing exactly when
Until then; take care of yourself, my friend
If you tell it to my heart
Where would you start
With a truth we shared
Or the lies that drove us apart
If you tell it to my heart
Where would you start
With a truth we shared
Or the lies that drove us apart
If you tell it to my heart
Where would you start
With a truth we shared
Or the lies that drove us apart

Gabe Logan Newell (born November 3, 1962) is the co-founder and managing director of the video game development and online distribution company Valve Corporation.
Contents |
After having dropped out of Harvard University[2] Newell spent thirteen years working for Microsoft Corporation, ultimately becoming a "Microsoft Millionaire". Newell has described himself as "producer on the first three releases of Windows".[3] Inspired by Michael Abrash, who left Microsoft to work on the computer game Quake at id Software, Newell and another Microsoft employee, Mike Harrington, left Microsoft to found Valve in 1996.[3] He and Harrington used their money to fund Valve through the development of Half-Life.
During production on Half-Life 2, he spent several months focusing on the Steam project.[4]
In 2007, Newell openly expressed his displeasure over developing his software for gaming consoles, particularly the PlayStation 3. In regard to the system, Newell was once quoted as claiming that developing processes for the console in general was "a waste of everybody's time"[5] and "a disaster on many levels ... I'd say, even at this late date, they should just cancel it and do a do over. Just say, 'This was a horrible disaster and we're sorry and we're going to stop selling this and stop trying to convince people to develop for it'."[6] Nevertheless, at E3 in 2010, Newell appeared on stage at Sony's keynote; while acknowledging his past outspoken comments on console development, he discussed the open nature of Sony's PlayStation 3 platform, and announced Portal 2 for the console, remarking that with Steamworks support it would be the best version for any console.[7] Newell has also criticized the Xbox Live service, referring to it as "a train wreck".[8]
In December 2010, Forbes named Newell as "A Name You Should Know" mainly for his work on Steam having partnerships with multiple major developers.[9][10] In March 2012, Forbes estimated the net worth of Newell as $1.5 billion dollars, ranking 854th out of 1,226 global billionaires.[11]
Gabe is married to Lisa Newell and has two sons.[12] He suffered from Fuchs' dystrophy, a congenital disease which affects the cornea, but was cured by two cornea transplants in 2006 and 2007.[13]
His favorite games are Super Mario 64, Doom, and Star Trek played on a Burroughs mainframe computer. Doom convinced him that video games were the future of entertainment, and Super Mario 64 convinced him video games were art.[14]

JJ Cale (also J.J. Cale), born John Weldon Cale[1] on December 5, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,[1] is a Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter and musician. Cale is one of the originators of the Tulsa Sound, a loose genre drawing on blues, rockabilly, country, and jazz influences. Cale's personal style has often been described as "laid back".
His only U.S. hit single, Crazy Mama, peaked at #22 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1972. During the 2006 documentary film To Tulsa and Back Cale recounts the story of being offered the opportunity to appear on Dick Clark's American Bandstand to promote the song, which would have moved the song higher on the charts. Cale declined when told he could not bring his band to the taping and would be required to lip-sync the words to the song.
His songs have been performed by a number of other musicians including "After Midnight" and "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton,"Cajun Moon" by Randy Crawford, "Magnolia" by Jai, "Bringing It Back" by Kansas, "Call Me the Breeze" and "I Got the Same Old Blues" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Travelin' Light" and "Ride Me High" by Widespread Panic, "Tijuana" by Harry Manx, "Sensitive Kind" by Carlos Santana, "Cajun Moon" by Herbie Mann with Cissy Houston, and "Same Old Blues" by Captain Beefheart.

Cale was born on December 5, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Some sources incorrectly give his real name as "Jean-Jacques Cale". A Sunset Strip nightclub owner employing Cale in the mid-1960s came up with the "JJ" moniker to avoid confusion with the Velvet Underground's John Cale.[citation needed] In the 2006 documentary, To Tulsa and Back: On Tour with J.J. Cale, Rocky Frisco tells the same version of the story mentioning the other John Cale but without further detail.
