Sean Kingston (born Kisean Anderson; February 3, 1990) is a Jamaican-American singer. He pursued a music career and debuted in 2007 with the album Sean Kingston.
Kingston was born on February 3, 1990, in Miami, Florida and moved to Kingston, Jamaica when he was six. He attended high school in Ocho Rios. His grandfather was the noted Jamaican reggae producer Lawrence Lindo, who worked under the stage name Jack Ruby. At age 11, Kingston spent 3 weeks in jail for breaking and entering, and Kingston lived in a car while his mother was incarcerated for identity theft.
Sean Kingston was discovered through MySpace by Tommy Rotem at Beluga Heights, and signed to the label in a partnership deal with Sony. Beluga is a label notable for its focus on discovering and developing artists. In an interview with HitQuarters label head and producer J.R. Rotem described this process with regards to Kingston:
"Sean Kingston was a rapper when we found him and it was a development process to get him more melodic. At Beluga we essentially refine the talent so that it's more of a marketable product."
Cher Lloyd (born 28 July 1993) is an English recording artist. Lloyd rose to fame when she finished fourth in the seventh series of The X Factor. Shortly afterwards, Lloyd was signed by Simon Cowell to Sony Music subsidiary Syco Music.
Cher Lloyd's debut single "Swagger Jagger" was released in June 2011. Despite receiving negative reviews, the single entered at number one on the UK Singles Chart and number two on the Irish Singles Chart. Her second single "With Ur Love" was released on 31 October, featuring Mike Posner, and peaked at number four in the UK, and number five in Ireland, preceding her debut album Sticks + Stones, which peaked at number four in the UK Albums Chart and number seven on the Irish Albums Chart.
Cher Lloyd used to live in Malvern with her parents Darren and Dina, and three younger siblings brother Josh, and sisters Sophie and Rosie. Lloyd attended Dyson Perrins CE Sports College, where she studied performing arts. She also attended theatre arts school Stagecoach.
Lloyd had previously auditioned for The X Factor twice before (when the minimum age was lower) singing ballads, but did not make it through. Lloyd has previously performed at holiday camps and said she gets a mixed reaction to her music, but was a big hit with x-factor judge at the time Cheryl Cole. She remarked on their similarity and Cheryl went on to support her throughout the show. She auditioned singing the Keri Hilson version of "Turn My Swag On". At bootcamp she sang a rap version of "Viva La Vida" adding lyrics she claimed to have written herself, but this was disputed and reports claimed she took them from a song by rapper Swizz Beatz. At the judges' houses she performed "Cooler Than Me" but suffered from tonsillitis and was unable to complete her song. She was given a second chance, but broke down sobbing and could not complete the song. Despite this, she was still picked as one of the final three girls by mentor Cheryl Cole.
Colin Steele McRae, MBE (5 August 1968 – 15 September 2007) was a Scottish rally driver born in Lanark.
The son of five-time British Rally Champion Jimmy McRae and brother of rally driver Alister McRae, Colin McRae was the 1991 and 1992 British Rally Champion and, in 1995, became the first British person and the youngest to win the World Rally Championship Drivers' title. He still holds that record.
McRae's outstanding performance on the Subaru World Rally Team enabled the team to win the World Rally Championship Constructors' title three times in succession in 1995, 1996 and 1997. After a four-year spell with the Ford Motor Co. team, which saw McRae win nine events, he moved to Citroën World Rally Team in 2003 where, despite not winning an event, he helped them win the first of their three consecutive manufacturers' titles. He was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to motorsport in 1996.
McRae died in 2007 when the helicopter he was piloting crashed near his home. The accident also claimed the lives of his son and two family friends. In November 2008 he was posthumously inducted into the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame.
Plot
Set against the background of Florida's Cypress Gardens, and featuring many stretches of water carnival-ballet numbers, the slight story line finds swimming star Julie Hallerton (Esther Williams) in love with Ray Lloyd (Van Johnson), her boss and the creator and operator of the operation. She stays mostly wet, while he stays mostly disinterested in anything other than the cash receipts.
MGM's spectacular Technicolor musical excitingly filmed in Florida's beautiful Cypress Gardens!
Kamikaze seagull planes
Fighting over chip shop take-away remains
When you're walking on the cliffs
You can't help thinking of how far down the sea is
And what if it should give...
I didn't mean to bring you down
Summer's over, seaside town
She says we shouldn't have come so far
This seaside town, summer's over.
Empty pubs echo with sounds
Jukebox selections that keep going round and round
And maybe rain is all we need
To come and wash the summer rubbish off the beach
Oh, let's just go to sleep!
I didn't mean to bring you down
Summer's over, seaside town
She says we shouldn't have come so far
This seaside town...
[CHORUS]
In the back of the arcades
Kids borrow money to play one more final game
While mothers wait in family cars
I wonder why we ever chose to come so far
But I wish you wouldn't ask...
I didn't mean to bring you down
Summer's over, seaside town
She says we shouldn't have come so far
This seaside town...
[CHORUS]
This summer's over, seaside town,
This seaside town, summer's over,
Summer's over...
At eight o'clock we said goodbye
That's when I left her house for mine
She said that she'd be staying in
Well, she had to be at work by nine
So I get home and have a bath
And let an hour or two pass
Drifting in front of my TV
When a film comes on that she wants to see
*It's Monday morning 5.19
And I'm still wondering where she's been
Cause every time I try to call
I just get her machine
And now it's almost 6 a.m.
And I don't want to try again
Cause if she's still not back*
And then this must be the end
At first I guess she's gone to get
Herself a pack of cigarettes
A pint of milk, food for the cat
But it's midnight now and she's still not back
Repeat*
Cause if she's still not back that heaven knows, what then, is this the end?
At half past two I picture her
In the back of someone else's car
He runs his fingers through her hair
Oh, you shouldn't let him touch you there
Repeat*

[repeat to fade]
Milk of Amnesia, you make it easier
So raise a glass in the air and drown out all your cares
Lips round the bottle neck
Soon you gonna forget each and every regret
And let your dreams set sail
Inside, we're feeling warm, ready for any storm
We ain't got our weather proofs on but we're feeling strong
A belly full of hope, lie back and you will float
Drifting on your dream boat to a distant land
And if we can't make it home, we'll sleep on the paving stones
Happy just to be there, beneath the starlit dome
Milk of Amnesia, you make it easier, milk of Amnesia
Everything's fading fast, forget about the past
Back when she was a girl there was a plan to see her through her life: get married, settled down, and have some kids and be a good housewife; but she would go to bed at night with day-glo stars and fairy lights stuck on the ceiling of her room as she dreamt of another life.
Now it's too late to go back home, it's saccharine and silicone, for a broken Barbie doll. Sleeping pills and alcohol, and nights she'd rather not recall, for a broken Barbie doll.
And though the hands that played with her were cold she let them drag her down, and as her cardboard world begins to fall, she's lying on the ground.
[CHORUS]
Her mother writes her every week, she says she's worried for health. Her dad says she's finding her feet, but now she's lying on the shelf. Like faulty goods that are returned, her pretty fingers are all burnt.
[CHORUS]
Broken Barbie doll, for a broken Barbie doll.
Broken Barbie doll, for a broken Barbie doll.
I get home late but I can't sleep, no message on my machine, the red light eyes me knowingly. And from the note left on my door I know that I shouldn't call - you won't be home tonight at all.
'Cos when I read between the lines, pictures of you hi-jack my mind. I don't know where you're going but I know you're wearing your make-up - lipstick letters always say too much.
Sit and watch the cars go by with a cheap bottle of wine, but it doesn't help to pass the time. I don't know how far we fell, I don't know if this is hell, but I can hear the funeral bells.
(CHORUS)
Raking through the old fag-ends of forgotten conversations - they're burning on my lips again. And from the note left on my door, I know that I should have called - you won't be coming home at all.
Voices in my head
Say it's getting light
It's hard to go to bed
When you've been up all night
So as the day slips through the blinds
Don't let us break down
We should be racing from this murder scene
Like jets that cross the sky
Leaving our trails to fade and die
I know we're confused, we've nothing to lose
Let's get in the car and drive, get in the car and drive
Through the twisted streets
With neon in our veins
And in our hearts there beats
The sound of subway trains
I know tomorrow's nearly here
Don't let it stop now
We should be rushing from the burning crash
Like jets that cross the sky
Leaving our trails to fade and die
The dawn's gonna break, we're both still awake
Let's get in the car and drive, get in the car and drive
So grab the keys, forget the trash
We'll take the car, we'll take the cash
And somewhere down the motorway
We'll find a place where we can stay forever
Get in the car and drive
Get in the car and drive
Like a russian doll
It's so hard to tell
What goes on inside
Behind your painted shells
Underneath a sky of prussian blue
Just call me
I will rush to you
When the midnight bells begin to toll
I just want to be with my russian doll
Oh my russian doll
Skin like moonlit snow
Hold me in the dark
Never let me go
Underneath a sky of prussian blue
Just call me
I will rush to you
When the midnight bells begin to toll
That's when I long to see my russian doll
Bloody sunday red
The colour of your lips
Just when I get close
From my arms you slip
Underneath a sky of prussian blue
With stars that shine for me and you
When the midnight bells begin to toll
I long to be with you my russian doll
Underneath a sky of prussian blue
Just call me
I will rush to you
When the midnight bells begin to toll
Sugar high, then she drops me from the sky, but it never stops me.
From the very first taste it began: I only wanna make her understand, hold her as she melts into my hands, even if she acts like she can't stand me - that's just my hard candy, that's just my hard candy.
Glycerine is in my veins, it's serene until she runs out again...
Ever since the first taste it began: I only wanna make her understand, hold her as she melts into my hands, even if she acts like she can't stand me - that's just my hard candy, that's just my hard candy.
Candy...
Such a waste when she leaves me - a bitter taste when I want her to feed me.
All the shiny paper's just a sham - I only wanna make her understand, hold her as she melts into my hands, even if she acts like she can't stand me - that's just my hard candy, that's just my hard candy.
That's just my hard candy, that's just my hard candy.
That's just my hard candy, that's just my hard candy.
I had a dream but I just can't remember it - what could it mean? How did I ever let it slip? I'm a modern guy - I can't help but be sarcastic: it's a brand new day... well isn't that fantastic?
Hey, it's alright, at the end of the day there's gonna be more nights. Everything's okay, no need to get uptight - we can dream another dream tonight.
Game show afternoons - is that all I was born for - sitting in my room, just waiting to be called for?
(CHORUS)
Another dream tonight, another dream tonight...
(CHORUS)
Dream another dream tonight, we can dream another dream tonight,
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
I like the taste
That's why I swallow the lies
'Cos everybody needs faith
If they want to, to survive
Give me your hand
Ohh I will fall to my knees
In such a pitiful sham
I was born to believe
Ohh I don't care whatever
Just kill the pain and stop the ache
Whatever it takes
Lie to me, I'm happy
And in your arms I will escape
You're my brilliant fake
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
All of my life
I've never known what was real
But does it matter what's right
If you like what you feel?
Ohh I don't care whatever
Just kill the pain and stop the ache
Whatever it takes
Lie to me, I'm happy
And in your arms I will escape
Oh my brilliant fake
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
They tried to kill us off
But this show's not over
'Cause we were born to shine
And thrill like Supernova
So dry your tears, don't cry now
It's nowhere near the final curtain
Anything could happen
This world's uncertain
Anything could happen
Down every darkened street
We'll search until we find them
With knives between our teeth
We'll creep up behind them
Oh, 'cause creatures of our kind
Will not give in until the final curtain
Anything could happen
This world's uncertain
Anything could happen
I know you're hurting
Anything could happen
Anything could happen, oh
I know you're hurting
But anything could happen
This world's uncertain
Anything could happen
La la la la, la la, la la la la, la la
On a mission through the night
Sounds and actions, flashing lights
Don't care what time's on the clock
Hear the discotheque tick tock
Before they play the final tune
And I'm standing alone in a crowded room
Is there anyone out there?
Is there anyone out there?
There must be somebody somewhere
Is there anyone out there?
What's the point in going home?
To a silent answer phone
Smoking cigarettes in bed
Noises ringing in your head
Before they play the final tune
And I'm standing alone in a crowded room
Is there anyone out there?
Is there anyone out there?
There must be somebody somewhere
Is there anyone out there?
Is there anyone out there?
There must be somebody somewhere
Goodbye world, adios
This is where I'm getting off
They say I'm lost
But I'm happy here
All you boys and you girls
Who were not made for this world
I know a way to where you'll feel immune
Underneath a distant moon
Memories mingle with dreams
Like old newspapers in the wind
Sometimes they drift along for miles
Or cling to something for a while
Before they're gone
Over the roof tops and beyond
Let this night take me and you
And wrap us in its velvet blue
And from this world we'll be delivered soon
The lights go out without a sound
You can feel the mounting tension
On the bed of nails where we've laid down
Far too many times to mention
I was on the high wire looking down
For my safety net
When I swear I saw you with that clown
How can I forget?
You can learn to swallow swords
But it hurts so much more
Swallowing my pride
On a three-ring circus ride
They watch us from the ringside seats
As the knife throwing commences
And though it all looks very cheap
I still can't bring you to your senses
I was on the high wire looking down
For my safety net
When I swear I saw you with that clown
How can I forget?
You can learn to swallow swords
But it hurts so much more
Swallowing your pride
On a three-ring circus ride
Some people ride the wall of death
And it's so dangerously thrilling
Some people fall and break their necks
With just the sky above still spinning
Juggling a precious thing
Pretty soon it will be broken
If you think I'll jump through hoops with him
I think you must be joking
I was on the high wire looking down
For my safety net
When I swear I saw you with that clown
How can I forget?
You know that trick they do with swords
Well it hurts so much more
Swallowing my pride
She's got a telephone voice
That I haven't heard in quite a while
But I've seen her with boys
That I didn't think would be her style
Always around out on the town
She can barely say hello
Waving at her watching me drown
Just someone that she used to know
The screeching of brakes
Of a taxi in the midnight rain
Is all that it takes
To bring it back to her again
See her around out on the town
She can barely say hello
Waving at her watching me drown
Just someone that she used to know
Someone that she used to know
See her around out on the town
She can barely say hello
Waving at her watching me drown
Like someone that she used to know
Always around out on the town
She can barely say hello
Waving at her watching me drown
Just someone that she used to know
Someone that she used to know
They may throw stones against the glass
But there's no need to worry
One day they'll want our help and ask
We'll turn and say we're sorry
If all the stars fall from the sky
And we have nothing to cling to
There'll always be a you and I
And this is the song I'll sing you
You and me should stick together
We were built to last forever
Shatterproof
Don't let go of your youth
If we don't run the race
Then we can never lose
Shatterproof
Because we know the truth
If we don't run the race
Then we can never lose
It doesn't matter what they say
Because the night is calling
I know a place where we can play
And watch the statues falling
'Cause with this feeling in our blood
We'll be forever young
And our two hearts will always thud
Just like the rhythm of drums
You and me should stick together
We were built to last forever
Shatterproof
Don't let go of your youth
If we don't run the race
Then we can never lose
With just our hearts to guide us
We'll leave them all behind us
Oh no, they'll never find us now
Oh no
Shatterproof
Don't let go of your youth
If we don't run the race
Then we can never lose
Shatterproof
Because we know the truth
If we don't run the race
Then we don't ever have to lose
And we'll always be shatterproof
Shatterproof
Shatterproof
I'll call you up from a phone box
Your light is on it's 3 o' clock
We'll go for a drive with the radio on
And you'll come alive to a forgotten song
London crawling
Through the sodium glow
Just like lovers again
Slipping between the sheets of dirty rain
London crawling
Through the sodium glow
Just like lovers again
Slipping between the sheets of dirty rain
Under the cover of the narcotic night
The streaming colors of the traffic lights
The two of us dreading the end
Burning our money in a basement
London crawling
Through the sodium glow
Just like lovers again
Slipping between the sheets of dirty rain
Sunday morning
And I don't want to go
Back to my single bed
To be lying alone out of my head
Don't stop at the lights
There's no one else coming
London crawling
Through the sodium glow
Just like lovers again
Slipping between the sheets of dirty rain
Sunday morning
And I don't want to go
Back to my single bed
My idiot twin
Like a second skin
I just can't shake him
He's my stupid Siamese
A terminal disease
Forgive me please
My idiot twin
He's part of me
But one day I'll kill him
He is my idiot twin
When he dies
I'm gonna be king
My idiot twin
My unwanted Gemini
The things I'd like to hide
Eat me inside
Times I wish I could forget
Crippled by regret
Dogging my steps
My idiot twin
He's part of me
But one day I'll kill him
He is my idiot twin
When he dies
I'm gonna be king
My idiot twin
All of the things I shouldn't have said
He put those ideas in my head
What if there's another world
Circling a distant star
And on this planet lives a girl
Won't you tell me where you are?
I'm in deep space
I think I'm fallin'
And I feel like, I'm a million miles from home
I'm in deep space
Can you hear me callin'?
'Cos I'm searchin' for the light to save my soul
Is there anybody there that can pull me out of this black hole?
(Is there anybody there that can pull me out of this black hole?)
From the past right to the present
I've been waiting for a sign
For an angel sent from heaven
A rocket in this starless sky
I'm in deep space
I think I'm fallin'
And I feel like, I'm a million miles from home
I'm in deep space
Can you hear me callin'?
'Cos I'm searchin' for the light to save my soul
Is there anybody there that can pull me out of this black hole?
Well, I built myself a capsule
And I've drifted days and nights
When I look into the darkness
There's a vacuum in my life
I'm in deep space,
I think I'm fallin'
And I feel like I'm a million miles from home
I'm in deep space
Can you hear me callin'?
'Cos I'm searchin' for the light to save my soul
Is there anybody there that can pull me out of this deep space?
I'm in deep space, I'm in deep space
Is there anybody there that can pull me out of this deep space?
I'm in deep space, I'm in deep space
Like a shot from the dark
In the silence of night
Down the black boulevard
Come the blindin' headlights
If it isn't the hit
It's the thrill of the chase
You?ve got to admit
It?s a hell of a place
But when she turns
How she sparkles and burns
And I am bound by her spell
I'm tied to her carousel
Like shooting stars
That scratch away at the dark
I know that my fate is sealed
On Catherine's wheel
So look down the tracks
See how far you?ve come
There's no turnin' back
The deal is done
Take hold of the rail
It?s a heart stoppin' ride
The sparks fall like hail
As she draws me inside
And when she turns
How she sparkles and burns
And I am bound by her spell
I'm tied to her carousel
Like shooting stars
That scratch away at the dark
I know that my fate is sealed
On Catherine's wheel
Oh, the record goes round
The needle goes down
On a forgotten sound
But when she turns
How she sparkles and burns
And I am bound by her spell
I'm tied to her carousel
Like shooting stars
That scratch away at the dark
I know that my fate is sealed
On Catherine's wheel
And when she turns
Oh, how she sparkles and burns
And I am bound by her spell
I'm tied to her carousel
Like shooting stars
That scratch away at the dark
I know that my fate is sealed
A cash point casanova with stars in your eyes, you buy a few more drinks and tell a few more lies. And every night's another drunken pantomime. You get that sinking feeling, and reach for your lines.
You're the king of karaoke, and that's everything you'd like to be
It's so easy when you're someone else
And you always forgot yourself
You're the king of karaoke and that's everything you'd like to be
When you've chosen what you wanna sing
Just open your mouth and spread your wings
[BREAK]
Who's the king of karaoke?,
Who's the king of karaoke?,
Who's the king of karaoke?,
I never really got the plot from the first rushes to the closing shots. Since when were you the budding actress? It's in your small talk and it's on your mattress. It was halfway through the bathroom scene when it became clear you'd be coming clean. Thought I'd always have a place in your heart instead of being just another walk on part.
Slo-mo death blow that only leaves the final curtain; end of the show - there'll be no encore that's for certain.
There was a star up in the sky and when it shone on me it burnt my eyes. Now all my dreams are turning to dust, my shining star is lying covered in rust.
When I first met you I walked you to your car You said let's take a drive We parked beneath the stars Because the night was clear They shone so brightly from the blue Now when I look up Everything is clouded and confused
You used to understand Without a single word Now so much has been said But nothing s really heard I want to put it straight But I just can't seem to get through I shouldn't be surprised When things turn out the way they always do
Failing in love with you
When I had to leave We waited for my train By the station wall Where I carved your name This time I've returned
And through my memories stand tall When I got off the train I noticed that they've knocked down the wall
Yes you can laugh And I can pretend But just as they start So things must end Failing in love again Failing in love again

If you were an angel, I would cut off your wings.
To keep you with me, I would do anything.
Like broken bottles, that slip from druken hands,
I've watched my star falling, and shatter on the ground.
First you wash your hair, then you wash your hands.
Oh yeah, I think I understand.
Untouchable, if I'm not fit,
To even crawl, if I'm too sick,
I'll soak my skin in alcohol, until I feel untouchable.
I blew my chances, as you blowdried your hair.
I thought of my answers, as you walked down the stairs.
D'you think I'd defile you, if you were to close?
D'you think I'd infect you?
D'you think I'd give you a dose?
First you wash your hair, then you wash your hands.
Oh yeah, I think I understand.
* repeat
I'll drink until my skin is full, and I will feel untouchable.

The underdogs keep running after shining motorbikes - trying to keep up while they look back and laugh; we're so tired of dragging our hearts. It's the chrome and the steel, and all the power that we wanna feel; so when we catch them we will rip them apart 'cos it's no more than they did to us.
We've been waiting so long, we know just what we want: we will cheat and we'll rob, 'cos we are the underdogs. We are the underdogs.
The underdogs, we've had too much shit kicked in our lives to stop us howling at the moon through the night - if it keeps them up then that's alright. To be bitter and alone is such a dirty little job, we're jaded to our brittle bones. 'Cos we are the underdogs, yes we are the underdogs.
[CHORUS]
The underdogs, we are the underdogs,
In the evening rush she takes her seat by the window, and when she lights up nobody speaks - they adjust their clothes. She sits on the train from 5.15 to 5.50; It's always the same: "The way," she says, "they look at me," from Saturday to Saturday.
Contact unclean, lock me up in quarantine.
Bathed in the blue wash of a TV screen, surfing served-up dreams, to the happy glow of the burger bar, watching the passing cars, from Saturday to Saturday.
(CHORUS)
Contact unclean, lock me up in quarantine. Contact, I'm unclean, lock me up in quarantine.
Quarantine, quarantine, all our lives we've been in quarantine.
Quarantine, quarantine, all our lives we've been in quarantine.
Quarantine, quarantine, all our lives we've been in quarantine.
You dial the lucky number when you're feeling uptight, when you're bored on a Sunday, and every Friday night. You dial the lucky number 'cos life is such a fight - they're gonna bring it over and make it all seem alright.
You've got a lucky number, for every time you need something to numb ya: you get that nagging hunger, that's when you dial your lucky number.
(CHORUS)
You dial the lucky number, you want that basement kiss; when you were two years younger, you wouldn't have dreamt of this. You're getting pins and needles, they've got you on the boil - all wrapped up in the glamour of aluminium foil.
(CHORUS 2)
Go to sleep, all your dreams are sweet, keep the world at bay 'til you wake up in the morning...
It's only friction that causes all the sparks - they come between us and blow the world apart. It's only tension that I can't diffuse; you really made your mark, I've still got the bruise.
And now there's nothing left, just another twisted wreck, with love like Semtex.
Like a dud firework that goes off in your face, we should have lit the sky but we burned down the whole place.
And now there's nothing left, just another twisted wreck with love like Semtex. More like a letter bomb blast than a Valentine card, with love like Semtex.
Now there's nothing left, just another twisted wreck with love like Semtex. More like a letter bomb blast than a Valentine card, with love like Semtex.
Goodbye and all the best, with love like Semtex,
I drove the car
She'd made it plain
That I'd run out of ways
To win her back again
Her seat was back
No seat belt on
And on the radio
Some too familiar song
I thought if I could hurt her
Then she couldn't leave
She'd need someone to nurse her
Someone could be me
Together hell for leather shooting up the midnight motorway
I drove the car that took my love away
I glimpsed her hair
Blown by the wind
And passing headlights
Dance across her perfect skin
I saw the road
Its curves ahead
Then I saw me with flowers
At her hospital bed
I saw the corner nearing
And looked to the sky
I let go of the steering wheel
And closed my eyes
And though it never crossed my mind she might not live to see the day
I drove the car that took my love away
Together hell for leather shooting up the midnight motorway
Love me, love me
Say you do (yeah)
Let me fly
Away with you (yeah)
For my love
Is like the wind (yeah)
Wild is the wind
Wild is the wind
Give me more
One caress (yeah)
Satisify
This hungriness (yeah)
Let the winds
Go through your heart (yeah)
Wild is the wind
Wild is the wind
CHORUS
Touch me
I hear the sound of
Mandolins
Kiss me
With your kiss
My life begins
You're a spring to me
All things to me
Don't you know
Your life is Heaven?
(Yeah)
(Yeah)
The life in me
Clings to a tree (yeah)
Oh, my darling
Cling to me (yeah)
We are crossers
Of the wind (yeah)
Wild is the wind
Wild is the wind
Wild is the wind
Wild is the wind
Wild is the wind
Wild is the wind
When you let them in your home, you were naked and alone. They'd been carving your tombstone since they first met you. It's not the years spent in the wings, but it's the lies that really sting, but now with one brief little fling the party's over.
It's so hard to understand in a field of also-rans to be someone else that they no longer need, to be smothered by the hand that used to feed.
One little slip was all it took, to put a bullet in your foot. You didn't think to stop and look, but now you're sober. In a single paragraph they turned your life into a farce; when you saw the photographs, the light was so cruel.
(CHORUS)
When you let them in your home you were naked and alone. They'd been carving your tombstone since they first met you.
Therapy sessions since the age of seven - a familiar dysfunction. Only 21 going on 11, when his loving arms became a truncheon. Well she can act cute or she can act coy - the tantrums turn up uninvited; she's playing with needles 'cos she's bored of her toys - oh it's so hard to get excited.
Misunderstood and overfed on mummy's pills and daddy's bread - Los Angelenos from hell, you're doing very well.
A telephone voice that keeps us all sweet, but there's always a call that's waiting. She's pulling faces across the room as she speaks, as if it's all so irritating.
[CHORUS]
Bubblegum for brains, she's getting silicone chest pains – she don't look quite so young after all that holidaying in the sun.
The lights come on, I track her moves: locking the door, crossing the room. She's on the phone again, and when she laughs I feel my blood rushing - I feel my blood rush to my heart...
I call her up and disconnect, wait by her house once more to check, stare through the window of her kitchenette, and then I follow her down underground escalators, hiding behind my newspaper until the time when we're together.
So here we are, alone again; I'm in the dark, she's in her frame, her window bay.
I play the film back through my mind with a few new scenes I've designed; maybe I'll write her one or two more lines, and then I'll follow her down underground escalators, hiding behind my newspaper until the time when we're together.
Together, together, together, together...
(CHORUS)
Together, when we're together,
Together, when we're together,
Vinegar Vera, packed his bags and left home to make his mark. Nobody missed him, because he was back before it got dark.
Vinegar Vera, lying on his bed cursing the ceiling. Because the world turned, and turning it ran over his feelings.
Vinegar Vera, now that you're almost 21. Vinegar Vera, locked in the bathroom at your mum's.
He looks in the mirror, and rolling the words around his mouth. He doesn't want to come out, he doesn't want to come out.
Chip on your shoulder, is harder to hide the more you get older. With every summer, feeling the world get colder and colder.
Vinegar Vera, now that you're almost 31. Vinegar Vera, wondering what you have become.
[CHORUS]
Vinegar Vera, lost his mum in the zoo when he was 5. The Hare Krishnas gave him a biscuit as he sat and cried.
Vinegar Vera, never thought life would come to this. Vinegar Vera, drowning in your own bitterness.
[CHORUS]
He doesn't want to come out, he doesn't want to come out.
In a skyscraper - in a skyscraper's where I want to live: with no elevator, at the top of the stairs where nobody else is. I don't want any trouble in my little bubble...
Up above the clouds, looking at the crowds down on the ground. Watching from the steeple, all the little people running round. Lock the door behind me, no-one's gonna find me to bring me down.
In a skyscraper, we'll send for the papers every now and then. When it's a bit safer, when it's a bit safe we might come down again. We don't want any trouble in our little bubble...
Up above the clouds, looking at the crowds down on the ground. Watching from the steeple, all the little people running round. Lock the door behind us, no-one's gonna find us to bring us down. Oh-oh-oh-oh, in a skyscraper, in a skyscraper. In a skyscraper, in a skyscraper.
It was late when she got on the train
Found a space between the coffee stains
Struggling to lift her suitcase
Pushing back the hair from her face
Here in my seat
I feel a rush beneath my feet
She's just a girl on a train
I'll probably never see her again
The girl on the train
Never even asked her her name
The girl on the train
Wonder if she's feeling the same
She looks listlessly at magazines
Past the horoscopes and beauty creams
Through the suburbs and the scrubland
I wonder whether she understands
This world is drab
You've got to take what you can grab
She's just a girl on a train
I'll probably never see her again
The girl on the train
Never even asked her her name
The girl on the train
Wonder if she's feeling the same
Through the suburbs and the scrubland
I wonder whether she understands
This world is drab
You've got to take what you can grab
She's just a girl on a train
I'll probably never see her again
The girl on the train
Never even asked her her name
The girl on the train
Here comes the star of the show, but he's got piss on his clothes - still he's the man with all the front. Ladies and gentlemen, let's have your warmest welcome for the world's biggest little cunt.
There's no curtain call, no screaming applause.
Little comedian, flat on my face again; and no one's laughing, little comedian.
Knock knock, I wonder who's that? Knocking everyone's drinks back and treading shit into the rug. It's the boy with the poison inside. The funny-man with the weak little spine, still he's his mother's favourite thug.
There's no curtain call, no screaming applause.
[CHORUS]
8am, last nights dawning. I feel the bathroom calling, with my 3 minute sickness warning.
Head hung over the basin, memories of last night racing, to the mirror with sick face in
There's no curtain call, no screaming applause.
Verse 1: In my dreams, we're together
In my dreams, what we have will last forever
As I lay here, all alone
I only think of you
Hook 1: Never met anyone quite like you
Who can make me feel, the way you do
Chorus: But like the rain
I keep falling for you
I don't know how to wait
And I don't know what to do
This feeling in my heart
No one can take away
I just keep falling....like the rain
Verse 2: When I awake, you're still on my mind
And I realize that true love is hard to find
But I found it, when I married you
And looked into your eyes
Hook 2: Ever had this feeling before
But I know, this feeling can't be denied
Chorus
Verse 3: One day you walked into my life
And nothing's been the same
Not having you beside me
Is driving me insane
Ending Chorus: Like the rain
All I know is I keep falling for you
I don't know just what I'm gonna do
Like the rain.....
Tonight this feeling is driving me insane
Like the rain....I keep falling for you
I don't know.....

Brown eyed girl, hotter than the summa', around you i get dummer
I could be your wonder, brown eyed girl
VERSE 1:
Now she's my baby, such a cutie, eyes look like a bad from Louie
Picture perfect, she's a ten, she's my lover, she's my friend
She's the other half no other girl can ever match
She's the lighter, i'm the flame, she's the heartbreak, i'm the pain
We just go together so forever, nobody could know me better
Nobody could love you better, "L" has never been my letter
Till' today now i say, i love you, you love me too
She's my baby i'm her boo, come here brown eyes i love you

VERSE 2:
I got it from here for me, could you be my shawty, i could be your god
Because that's my baby, she got me hypnotized
The way she moves her body side to side
Never seen something so fly, she the type i want to try
brown eyed baby, so crazy
You got me falling in love,
I know you dangerous but i just cant get enough
The way you put it down, got me givin' you the crown
Ladies when i come to town, holler if your eyes are brown
CHORUS:
Brown eyed girl, baby you're a stunna'
Saw you from my humma'
You can have my numba'
Brown eyed girl, hotter than the summa', around you i get dummer
I could be your wonder, brown eyed girl
Could you be my brown eyed girl, baby you're a stunna'
Saw you from my humma'
You can have my numba'
Brown eyed girl, hotter than the summa', around you i get dummer
I could be your wonder, brown eyed girl
Te amo mi amor, never felt like this before, she's the one that i adore
She's the one for me i'm sure (x2)
Brown eyed girl, baby you're a stunna'
Saw you from my humma'
You can have my numba'
Brown eyed girl, hotter than the summa', around you i get dummer
I could be your wonder, brown eyed girl
Could you be my brown eyed girl, baby you're a stunna'
Saw you from my humma'
You can have my numba'
Brown eyed girl, hotter than the summa', around you i get dummer
I gotta have you girl
(This is Rilod)
'Cause this is thriller
Thriller night
Girl, I can thrill you more
Than any ghost would ever dare try
(Thriller)
(Thriller night)
So let me hold you tight
