Pratella

Pratella is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Naples and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,689 and an area of 34.5 square kilometres (13.3 sq mi).

Pratella borders the following municipalities: Ailano, Ciorlano, Prata Sannita, Presenzano, Sesto Campano, Vairano Patenora.

Francesco Balilla Pratella

Francesco Balilla Pratella (Lugo, Italy February 1, 1880 – Ravenna, Italy May 17, 1955) was an Italian composer, musicologist and essayist. One of the leading advocates of futurism in Italian music, much of Pratella's own music betrays little obvious connection to the views espoused in the manifesti he authored.

Biography

Born in Lugo, and deeply impressed by the folk music he heard in his childhood in his native Romagna, now part of Emilia-Romagna. Pratella entered Pesaro Conservatory and studied with Vincenzo Cicognani and Pietro Mascagni. Pratella's professional career was largely centered in teaching and musicology; he served as director of the Liceo Musicale in Lugo from 1910 until 1927 when he accepted a post as director of the Istituto G. Verdi in Ravenna, where Pratella remained until his retirement in 1945. His interest in collecting Romagna's folk song began before his futurist period and continued after, intensifying later through Pratella's arrangements of folksongs and training of choruses. Pratella also made modern performance arrangements of early polyphonic music. From 1921 to 1925 Pratella headed the Bologna-based music publication Il Pensiero Musicale.

Phantom (UAV)

Phantom is a series of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) developed by the Chinese company DJI. These non-military quadcopters or drones are intended for recreational and commercial aerial cinematography and photography. The body frames are made of composite materials. Propulsion is provided by four two-blade propellers driven by four electric engines mounted at the ends of the x-shaped body.

Phantom 1

The Phantom 1, originally known as Phantom, was released in January, 2013. It was commonly equipped with a GoPro camera for amateur film making or photography. It was first ready-to-fly drone that used GPS. Its battery life was less than 10 minutes.

Phantom 2

The Phantom 2 was released in December, 2013. Upgrades include auto-return, increased flight speed, increased flight time and controllable range, increased battery capacity, smartphones, tablets and even some smart glasses compatibility, WI-FI module and is available in different performances. Its configuration allows users to remotely tilt the camera and adjust its orientation on two axes for a better level shot.
