There are a lot of bars, cafes, and nightclubs with DJs to keep the entertainment flowing. Also, there are a few places that offer live concerts. Most of the bars are open till 3 am and many cafes offer food during the day. These cafes transform themselves into bars and nightclubs at around 9.00 p.m.

Frascati

Frascati is a restaurant not only popular for its food but also for its two dance floors, a nightclub with a well-stocked bar and a good view of the Studenterlunden Park. It serves its clients with an excellent sandwich buffet from 11 am to 3 pm. Every Wednesday to Saturday night it transforms into a nightclub from 9 pm to 3 am.

Herr Nilsen

A small and cozy jazz café featuring regular concerts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Herr Nilsen is a place where you can sit back and relax.

Lille

Lille is a famous nightspot. The place consists of a restaurant, pop disco sounds on the first level and cellar concert stage with funk, blues and rock on the second. Lille also hosts a few excellent stand up comedy nights.

Beach Club

Located in Aker Brygge, Beach Club has a large and spacious bar. The club is more famous for its American Burgers than the music. All courses are served in the traditional American style.

Restauranthuset Scotsman

A good place for drinks and good times with a large group, Restauranthuset Scotsman has got some of the city’s most entertaining duets and trios every night. The Angus Steakhouse in the basement offers you steaks, pizza and other delicious dishes. On the first floor there is a Scotsman Pub that features a relaxed Scottish atmosphere offering a wide selection of beer. On the second floor the place boosts a Sports Pub with all kinds of sports on big screens accompanied with snacks, nachos, pizza and drinks. There is a Rikstotopub on the third floor that features horse racing on the big screen. Furthermore, Restauranthuset Scotsman transforms into a nightclub every Friday and Saturday night.
