Daniel Letterle
This video is dedicated to Daniel Letterle, who I think is a very underrated actor. He's talented and adorable. Plus, he has a very cute smile. ^_^ I edited the scenes a little, and I think it turned out okay. Let me know what you think!! And if you know of any other movies he's been in recently... =] Thanks! I had to edit the audio because the audio from the video was very low. I overlaid the track for "I Sing For You" and "Wild Horses". "Wild Horses" came out okay, but "I Sing For You" is a little off. It was fine on my computer, but uploading it messed up the second half a little. =/ No copyright infringement intended.

CAMP - "Here's Where I Stand"
CAMP is a 2003 American independent musical film written and directed by Todd Graff, about an upstate New York performing arts summer camp. The film is based on Graff's own experiences at a similar camp called Stagedoor Manor. The film was released in 2003 by IFC Films. The film centers on the experiences of several teenagers at Camp Ovation, a summer theatre camp. The campers are a mishmash of youngsters from different backgrounds and dealing with different issues, but all feel most comfortable while performing. Tiffany Taylor plays Jenna Malloran whose parents forced her to have her jaw wired shut in order to lose weight. For the final performance at the fictional Camp Ovation, Bert Hanley, played by Don Dixon, cuts the wires on Jenna's mouth, allowing her to sing a powerful song ("Here's Where I Stand" written by Michael Gore and Lynn Ahrens) directed to her parents in the audience, telling them to accept her as she is.

I Sing For You (With Video) - "Camp"
From the motion picture, "Camp". Sung by Daniel Letterle. I sing for you, and only you wherever I go I find you. You're in the sound of every hello; in everything I do. You're the song I was destined to know and I only sing for you. You went away, I should have known you'd leave so many dreams behind you. Thought I'd be fine just being alone I didn't have a clue. But my heart had a mind of its own and would only sing for you. You're in the sound of rain, clouds in a winter sky. In a thousand unsaid words; in a thousand crazy reasons why you were meant to fly. So fly for me, and day by day I'll keep hoping your heart reminds you: Nothing but love can stand in our way but love can see us through. Maybe that's all I wanted to say: I'll always sing for you. I will always sing for you.

Century Plant
Seeing as I haven't posted anything in a while, and seeing as I'm less busy with things, I just thought I'd want to. Here's my favorite part of the movie "CAMP", when the kids perform the work of Bert Hanley. Hanley, as a counselor/director, wants to make the camp more normal for the kids, but the minute he hears this song, he decides that "the more normal we try to make them, the more lonely and isolated they're gonna feel," letting them go ahead with the idea of doing his music for the benefit production. The song, written by Victoria Williams, couldn't be more right in this set of circumstances in the movie, with its simple convincing refrain, "Hey, do you wanna come out and play the game? It's never too late." Hanley cynically doubts his own words as he walks away and crumples one of his photocopied sheets. One of our heroes in the film, Vlad, gets everyone to raise their voices in mighty chorus, eventually enticing Hanley to join in the band. I love this part in the film; it speaks out, especially to me, a person who loves group singalongs and song circles. I made some minor mistakes here and there, but ignore them. Comments are welcomed with open arms! And if anyone wants to create their own individual or group singalong to this video, please do! Remember, it's never too late to play the game!

Wild Horses - by Mick Jagger (1971)
Prior to its release on Sticky Fingers, Gram Parsons convinced Jagger and Richards to allow him to record "Wild Horses" with his band, The Flying Burrito Brothers. While the Rolling Stones had already laid the track to tape, the Burrito Brothers' version was actually the first to be released, appearing on their second album, Burrito Deluxe, in April 1970, one year before Sticky Fingers. Released as the second (US-only) single in June 1971, "Wild Horses" reached #28 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Although popular at the Rolling Stones' live shows, "Wild Horses" has only been released in a reworked version on the 1995 acoustic/live album Stripped. This version was released as a single in 1996. It has proven to be a popular cover song for other artists. It has been covered by The Flying Burrito Brothers, Garbage, The Sundays, The Cranberries, Elvis Costello, Neil Young, Old and in the Way, Leon Russell, Guns N' Roses, Johnny Goudie, Sarah McLachlan, Bush, Labelle, The Lovemongers with Chris Cornell, Robin Williamson, Jewel, Dave Matthews, Charlotte Martin, Chantal Kreviazuk, Molly Hatchet, Alicia Keys ft. Adam Levine, Tre Lux, Iron & Wine, Stone Sour, Honeytribe, Sheryl Crow, Deacon Blue, Summerhill, Elisa, Melanie Safka, Kitty Hudson, John Barrowman and Susan Boyle. The Sundays' version was used in a long-running television advertisement for Budweiser beer in the early 1990s, featuring slow-motion footage of galloping Clydesdale horses. The version was also featured in the ...
