"Tarzan's Revenge" was the second Tarzan film made by producer Sol Lesser, who would eventually make fifteen Tarzan pictures. Lesser's first Tarzan film was "Tarzan the Fearless" from 1933 which atarred Olympic swimming star Buster Crabbe. This time the role of Tarzan was played by Glen Morris, the 1936 Olympic decathlon champion. His female lead was Eleanor Holm, an Olympic backstoke champion from 1928 and 1932. The film also starred George Barbier as Eleanor's father and Hollywood gossip columnist, Hedda Hopper, as Eleanor's mother. The film was directed by D Ross Lederman.

After being nabbed while trying to stow away on board an ocean liner en route to Hawaii, young Bobby sings for his travel fare and, along with sidekick Pua, turns detective to recover stolen naval documents from crooks.

A 1938 western film starring Lou Gehrig and made by Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation. The movie was directed by Ray Taylor and produced by Sol Lesser from a screenplay by Jack Natteford and Daniel Jarrett. The cinematography was by Allen Q. Thompson. Sol Lesser
Sol Lesser (February 17, 1890 – September 19, 1980) was an American film producer and presenter.
Early career
In 1913, while living in San Francisco, Lesser learned that the authorities were about to clean out the Barbary Coast district, a raucous area of gambling houses, saloons and brothels. He grabbed a camera and a friend, future Hollywood cameraman Hal Mohr, and roamed the area, especially the parts that were best-known before the area was shut down. (The Barbary Coast was not actually closed down until 1917.) This film is now considered a lost film.
The resulting film was The Last Night of the Barbary Coast, an early example of an exploitation film that was sold directly to movie theater owners by Lesser. With the profits from the film, he bought several theaters, and soon owned a cinema chain.
Sol Lesser signed Jackie Coogan to a movie contract in 1922, establishing both as major Hollywood names. The Coogan-Lesser hits included Oliver Twist and Peck's Bad Boy. Lesser made a successful transition to sound films, with his own Principal Pictures company; he would either distribute his productions himself under the Principal name, or arrange for a major studio to release them under their own trademarks. In 1933, Lesser produced Thunder Over Mexico a compilation film made from Eisenstein's Que Viva Mexico! with the permission of Upton Sinclair, who had commissioned the Soviet film maker, and his wife.

[Tu Teve/BlackTree Media - Las Vegas] Chuey Martinez flirts with Carla Morrison on the Green Carpet for the 13th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. She brought home not one, but TWO awards during the event at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.
The big names were all out in force but the XIII Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards Thursday at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas was a celebration of the lesser known and the newcomers such as the pop rock duo Jesse & Joy, singer and songwriter Carla Morrison, and 3BallMTY (read Tribal Monterrey), a DJ-anchored group that created its own style they call tribal guarachoso.
Still the big winner last night was Latin music which had a glittery showcase for so much of its diversity and vitality.
Colombian singer and songwriter won Album of the Year and Best Long Form Music Video for MTV Unplugged, a work produced by Dominican singer, songwriter and producer Juan Luis Guerra. With it he has won 19 Latin GRAMMYs, now matching the success of Calle 13.
Guerra, a 12-time Latin GRAMMY winner, entered the night with six nominations and won two.
But still, it was the duo Jesse & Joy, which won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album and Best Short Form Music Video. The Mexican singer and songwriter Carla Morrison, who won for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Song, and 3BallMTY, which won as the Best New Artist, suggest a coming wave in Latin Music.
Moreover, the show left the audience with some striking images and powerful moments. Consider the marvelous imagery and sound of the collaboration of Lila Downs, Toto La Momposina and Celso Piña. Their performance offered a stunning tableaux that spoke to the richness and vitality of the traditions in Latin culture. This was no museum piece.
But there were also moments such as the duet of Prince Royce and Joan Sebastian, blending the sound of bachata and mariachi on their "Incondicional;" or Victor Manuelle's "Si Tu Me Besas," which featured the Ballet Nacional de la Salsa de Colombia, strings but also barriles de bomba from Puerto Rico. Or the performance by 2012 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year Brazilian singer and songwriter Caetano Veloso and trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, who last night added to his count with Latin GRAMMYs for albums of jazz and tango. Their collaboration on a medley of Rafael Hernandez's "Capullito de Aleli," and Veloso's "Odara," was itself a celebration of "Fina Estampa," Veloso's embrace of the Great Latin American Songbook.
And of course, there was also representation of classic pop and merengue, norteño and hip hop and more.
There were forty-seven Latin GRAMMYs awarded Thursday.
