Nurses is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from September 14, 1991, to May 7, 1994, developed and produced by Susan Harris as a spin-off of Empty Nest, which itself was a spin-off of The Golden Girls
The series revolved around a group of nurses working at the same Miami hospital as Empty Nest's Dr. Harry Weston. Initially, the main characters were strong-willed nurse Annie Roland (Arnetia Walker), sarcastic nurse Sandy Miller (Stephanie Hodge), dim-witted nurse Julie Milbury (Mary Jo Keenen) and Latina nurse Gina Cuevas (Ada Maris) who frequently reminisced about her homeland, the fictional San Pequeño. Also in the cast were arrogant Dr. Hank Kaplan (Kip Gilman), wise-cracking orderly Paco Ortiz (Carlos Lacamara) and flaky nurse Greg Vincent (Jeff Altman). In addition, Florence Stanley had a recurring role during the first season as Dr. Riskin.
However, changes were made after the first season. In an effort to boost ratings, David Rasche joined the cast in the second season as Jack Trenton, a slimy white-collar criminal forced to perform community service at the hospital, and in the final season Loni Anderson joined the cast as new hospital administrator Casey McAfee. Other changes included the addition of Markus Flanagan as hunky orderly Luke Fitzgerald for the second season only, the changing of the show's theme song in seasons two and three, having nurse Gina and Dr. Hank Kaplan get married (Gina being pregnant with Dr. Hank's child). Nurse Greg Vincent was also written off after season one.
In the series' final season, nurse Sandy was gone, and the series' focus moved increasingly from the nurses to Casey McAfee's adjustments in running the hospital under a new HMO, and the antics of Jack Trenton and his sidekick Paco the orderly. [2]
Although ratings improved somewhat, NBC still cancelled the series after its third season.

Short clip from the 1985 episode "Cindy" of Highway to Heaven, directed by Michael Landon and written by Dan Gordon exposing an archetype of the recent Hollywood unpleasantness ... over three decades ago, and modelling how difficult conversations involving harassment could unfold in a productive manner.
Hallie Todd in the role of an aspiring starlet shows us how its done by standing up for her personal integrity against a Kip Gilman using his status as a powerful producer illustrating to Michael Landon's character the 'open secrets' of Tinsel Town.
Interesting thing about this scene is that it shows sexual harassment from both sides, albeit only one side actual and the other feigned: The producer had a "girlfriend" that was going out with him solely to get an acting job, and then dumps him as soon as she learns that he did not understand that that was the foundation of their relationship.
Then in the restaurant he feigns propositioning the waitress as an illustration to Landon's character, of how "everybody" in Hollywood is out to strike a deal of sex for acting jobs. The waitress is unaware of that on-going discussion between the two customers, though, and rejects the proposition in a respectful but firm way, at first, and when the producer feigns surprise at the rejection and persists more directly, she appropriately escalates and vigorously defends her personal integrity.
And this show is from more than thirty years ago! I'm finding Micheal Landon's directing, production, and acting catalog to be a goldmine of stand-up character modelling.

Skip (stylized as $kip) is a singer-songwriter and teen pop artist.
In 2012, he released his debut single "Skippin'", which was subsequently certified gold by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry.

2012-present: Skippin' Single and Other Musical Works
After a week of releasing his debut single, his single directly charted in the Philippines where it peaked in the top 8 for 2 straight weeks. The single was then a certified Gold.
He announced that his debut album was to be released in December 2012.
In February 2012, he performed his second single titled "Clap! Clap! Clap!" which was taken from his debut album. The song directly debuted on the Philippine Charts and there it peaked on number 10.
He confirmed his 3rd single, but wasn't given an official release date. The song was dedicate to his own idol, Whitney Houston. The single was named "Break Free Above", which talks more about the death of the legendary singer.

Short clip from the 1985 episode "Cindy" of Highway to Heaven, directed by Michael Landon and written by Dan Gordon exposing an archetype of the recent Hollywood unpleasantness ... over three decades ago, and modelling how difficult conversations involving harassment could unfold in a productive manner.
Hallie Todd in the role of an aspiring starlet shows us how its done by standing up for her personal integrity against a Kip Gilman using his status as a powerful producer illustrating to Michael Landon's character the 'open secrets' of Tinsel Town.
Interesting thing about this scene is that it shows sexual harassment from both sides, albeit only one side actual and the other feigned: The producer had a "girlfriend" that was going out with him solely to get an acting job, and then dumps him as soon as she learns that he did not understand that that was the foundation of their relationship.
Then in the restaurant he feigns propositioning the waitress as an illustration to Landon's character, of how "everybody" in Hollywood is out to strike a deal of sex for acting jobs. The waitress is unaware of that on-going discussion between the two customers, though, and rejects the proposition in a respectful but firm way, at first, and when the producer feigns surprise at the rejection and persists more directly, she appropriately escalates and vigorously defends her personal integrity.
And this show is from more than thirty years ago! I'm finding Micheal Landon's directing, production, and acting catalog to be a goldmine of stand-up character modelling.

Nurses is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from September 14, 1991, to May 7, 1994, developed and produced by Susan Harris as a spin-off of Empty Nest, which itself was a spin-off of The Golden Girls
The series revolved around a group of nurses working at the same Miami hospital as Empty Nest's Dr. Harry Weston. Initially, the main characters were strong-willed nurse Annie Roland (Arnetia Walker), sarcastic nurse Sandy Miller (Stephanie Hodge), dim-witted nurse Julie Milbury (Mary Jo Keenen) and Latina nurse Gina Cuevas (Ada Maris) who frequently reminisced about her homeland, the fictional San Pequeño. Also in the cast were arrogant Dr. Hank Kaplan (Kip Gilman), wise-cracking orderly Paco Ortiz (Carlos Lacamara) and flaky nurse Greg Vincent (Jeff Altman). In addition, Florence Stanley had a recurring role during the first season as Dr. Riskin.
However, changes were made after the first season. In an effort to boost ratings, David Rasche joined the cast in the second season as Jack Trenton, a slimy white-collar criminal forced to perform community service at the hospital, and in the final season Loni Anderson joined the cast as new hospital administrator Casey McAfee. Other changes included the addition of Markus Flanagan as hunky orderly Luke Fitzgerald for the second season only, the changing of the show's theme song in seasons two and three, having nurse Gina and Dr. Hank Kaplan get married (Gina being pregnant with Dr. Hank's child). Nurse Greg Vincent was also written off after season one.
In the series' final season, nurse Sandy was gone, and the series' focus moved increasingly from the nurses to Casey McAfee's adjustments in running the hospital under a new HMO, and the antics of Jack Trenton and his sidekick Paco the orderly. [2]
Although ratings improved somewhat, NBC still cancelled the series after its third season.
