Civil Parish - How Deep The Father's Love For Us
Genre: Worship, Rock, Acoustic, Progressive This song is taken from the new album Live At City Beautiful. Civil Parish are a worship band from Orlando, FL who formed in 2010. This live album is available for free download from Noisetrade, and is a great addition to any collection of worship songs. This track is a cover of the hymn 'How Deep The Father's Love For Us' which Civil Parish do a great job of making it sound modern and fresh with a nice acoustic introduction, slowly building up to the final verse for a 'shout-along' finish! A beautiful rendition of one of my favourite hymns and the rest of the album is just as satisfying. Find out more information on the 15th Anniversary of Ancestry.com on Facebook: ancstry.me Griffith's Valuation, indexed with images in this database, is one of Ireland's premier genealogical resources, referencing approximately one million individuals who occupied property in Ireland between 1848 and 1864. Griffith's Valuation, or Primary Valuation of Ireland, was executed under the direction of Sir Richard Griffith to provide a basis for determining taxes. This involved establishing the value of all privately held lands and buildings in both rural and urban areas in order to figure a rental rate for each unit of property. The resulting survey was arranged by barony and civil parish, with an index to townlands appearing in each volume. The original volumes of the survey are held in the National Archives, Dublin, and Public Record Office, Belfast. Griffith's Valuation is an invaluable reference for family historians with ancestors in Ireland in part because no census material from the nineteenth century has survived. In effect, because it is the only detailed guide to where in Ireland people lived in the mid-nineteenth century and what property they owned or leased, Griffith's Valuation serves as a census substitute for the years before, during, and after the Great Famine. Griffith's Valuation is also a valuable record of social and economic data and includes map reference numbers that can help researchers identify and perhaps locate property on Ordinance Survey maps ...

Synopsis
(R)esistenza follows eight stories of civil resistance in Scampia, the notorious suburban district of Naples as also described in Roberto Saviano's novel: "Gomorrah". Against a backdrop of organized crime, high unemployment and social decay, the protagonists tell us about their lives and the daily struggle to make their neighborhood a better place to live.
Don Aniello Manganiello, a very active priest in the fight against the camorra; recently in the media spotlight after the unjustified and controversial decision of the local church leaders to move him away from Scampia to a Parish in Rome against the will of the entire community.
Ciro Corona, founder of the Association (R)esistenza Anticamorra that has been spreading the culture of legality among the younger generation of Scampia, often victims of the negative influence of the camorra criminal culture. http://www.associazioneresistenza.com
Angelo Ferrillo, founder of the website: http://www.laterradeifuochi.it that reports through videos and photographs the environmental disaster caused by the illegal burning of toxic industrial waste in the fields of a vast area between Naples and Caserta.
Daniela Ruocco Terracciano, ex drug addict, today a volonteer social worker for a rehabilitation community. She tells us the difficulties of raising a large family who lives in an occupied school in Scampia that has been turned into apartments for 29 families.
Tonino Torre, for over 20 years a camorra boss of Scampia, he changed his life with the help of Don Aniello. Today he gives his contribution talking about his criminal experience, proving how criminal activities are a dead end road. He now earns his living working as a gardener and selling second hand items at flea markets.
ʼA67, a Crossover-Rock band named after the number of the social housing law in Italy upon which Scampia was built in the 80’s. The Band was formed as a response to the uncomfortable social conditions of their neighborhood. They are constantly engaged with their music in battling the camorra culture that besieges Scampia. http://www.a67.it
Emanuele Cerullo, a young writer and poet, until recently he lived with his family in the infamous "Vele di Scampia" the horrible housing estate that has become the icon of the area's decay. Emanuele takes us into his own "Vela" to show us a dramatic reality often inaccessible to mediaʼs cameras.
Marco Pirone, a young dad of two kids; he tells us how he got off drugs with Don Aniello's help. Today he is a positive model in the community and coaches a children's football team in Scampia.
Producer’s Statement
Reading Roberto Saviano’s novel 'Gomorrah' made me look at Italy with totally different eyes.
Until then I never realized how serious the problems were in that beautiful country that I visited for many years. I was shocked and angry to find out that this situation could exist in Europe. While searching online for more information about these complex problems, I met some remarkable young people living in Scampia actively fighting for legality in their neighborhood. It's because of them and the lack of media interest in these problems that the idea of (R)esistenza was born. (Wanda Glebbeek)
Director’s Statement
In (R)esistenza I wanted to give voice to the people that live and resist in Scampia. To th

Dunster Beach
Dunster is a village and civil parish in west Somerset, England, situated on the Bristol Channel coast 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south, south east of Minehead and 20 miles (32.2 km) north west of Taunton. The village has a population of 860 (2001). The village has numerous restaurants and three pubs. West Street is the oldest street; although a quieter street than the high street it has three specialist shops - Christmas shop, a kitchenware shop and a gift shop, and at the end of West Street is Dunster Working Watermill. Dunster was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Torre, meaning 'The rocky hill' from the Old English tor. The prefix 'Duns' may well be a reference to the Saxon Dunn, who held land in nearby Elworthy and Willet before 1066.[1] Dunster Beach is located half a mile from the village, and used to have a significant harbour, known as Dunster Haven, which was used for the export of wool from Saxon times, however it was last used in the 17th century and has now disappeared in the dykes, meadows and marshes near the shore.[2] The beach site has a number of privately owned beach huts (or chalets as some owners call them) along with a small shop, tennis court and putting green. The chalets, measuring 18' by 14' can be let out for holidays, some owners live in them all the year round.[3]Just south west of Dunster are Bat's Castle and Black Ball Camp on Gallox Hill (also known as British Camp). They were Iron Age hill forts.[4][5] There was a similar earthwork on ...

Stanhope, County Durham - 22nd February, 2012
Stanhope (pronounced in the regional dialect "Stanup" or "Stan'ope") is a small market town in County Durham, in England. It is situated on the River Wear between Eastgate and Frosterley on the north east side of Weardale. The A689 trans-Pennine road meets the B6278 road from Barnard Castle to Shotley Bridge here. The civil parish of Stanhope has a population of 4519 in 2001, and also includes Rookhope, Westgate, St John's Chapel, Ireshopeburn, Wearhead, Cowshill, Cornriggs, Eastgate, Frosterley all on the A689 road, along with Crawleyside, Hill End and White Kirkley. The parish was formerly much larger, with an area of 221 km². It shares some land in common with the neighbouring Wolsingham civil parish. Stanhope is surrounded by moorland in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - the second largest of the current 40 AONBs in England and Wales. Stanhope is also the current terminus of the Weardale Railway. However Trains do no longer run regularly to Frosterley and Wolsingham because of lack of income. Features of interest include a petrified tree stump in the churchyard, the Durham Dales Centre which incorporates a tea room, tourist information and craft shops, a ford with stepping stones for pedestrians, the eighteenth century Stanhope Castle in the centre of the town stands on the possible site of a medieval castle. This video features views around the Town Centre including the Durham Dales Centre, Castle, petrified tree stump, church building ...

Ferragudo, Lagoa, Algarve, Portugal
Ferragudo is a Portuguese civil parish at the western border of the municipality of Lagoa, covering an area of 5.41 km2 (2.09 sq mi) and encompassing a population of 1867 inhabitants (2001 census). Ferragudo serves mainly as a bedroom community for its much larger neighbour, the city of Portimmo; its residents routinely travel across the Arade River to work in the neighboring municipality. There have been various explanations for the community's name: from the inheritance of Ferragudo in Castro Verde, the fort of Ferragudo in Vila Viçosa, the Spanishman Johane Anes Ferro Agudo de Espanha or the locality of Ferragudo. The most plausible explanation is the traditional one, probably from the 14th century, which suggested the existence of an iron machine that existed on the beach of Angrinha, and which was used to raise fish for market. This iron machinery or "engenho de ferro", which was relatively "pointy" or "agudo" evolved into "ferro agudo" or Ferragudo. Ferragudo was known to the Phoenicians, Carthaginians and Romans, who were attracted to the mouth of the Arade River for its shelter and access to the Atlantic Ocean. In the 14th century, fishermen began to settle in the region, primarily to avoid the winter storms that afflicted the Atlantic coast. In 1520, Queen Leonor, noting the potential of area, secured the its protection and thereby allowed continued occupation of the territory. The privileges conceded to the region mimicked those extended to Silves and its ...
