Ancient Etruscan Deciphered (Vol. I): Lost Tomb of Alexander the Great
Scripted and directed by Paul Schaffranke, produced and filmed by Horatio Rybnikar (Harry Hubbard) and is the first of several presentations yet to follow. This spectacular, 7 part video begins by showing the participant the ancient alphabets used to break Etruscan after becoming a 'dead' language over 2400 years ago. Next, comes the decipherments of Archaic Latin inscriptions found in Italy and the program moves into the bilingual inscriptions of Etruscan and Phoenician known as the Pyrgi Tablets. The student is then presented with a Lexicon showing each word origin and meaning. The Lexicon is followed by deciphering the Famous Duenos Script that has eluded scholars for several decades since its discovery. The final portion of the program is the deciphering of the Numerius Tablet considered by some scholars to be one of the most important texts yet to be removed from the Illinois Tomb. A simplistic step by step approach to understanding the Etruscan alphabet and language. Many new complete and accurate Etruscan decipherments released for the first time in world history. A must for anyone studying Latin, Etruscan, Greek, Phoenician or any other Indo-European or Semitic Language.

THE CITY OF BIRGU

THE CITY OF BIRGU
Birgu, also known as Vittoriosa is one of the Malta's oldest cities. Its destinies were for many centuries intertwined with those of the neighbouring countries in the central Mediterranean basin.
Birgu is a town situated on a peninsula in Malta's natural harbour and throughout the Maltese history; Birgu can easily claim to have been the island's former maritime capital. It affords a natural safe anchorage in the sheltered creeks along its sides, Kalkara Creek to the north and Dockyards Creek to the south. Birgu has a unique three gate entrance that leads to the ancient medieval "piazza".
Excluding the headland comprising Fort St. Angelo, the city covers an area of about 175,500 square meters. The highest points Cavaliers Hill, lying towards the landward side and St. Philip's Hill are about 30 meters and 25 meters respectively above sea level. These hills are joined by a shallow 16 meters saddle - on which conveniently sits Vittoriosa's main square - which then slopes gently to the sea on the southern side forming a long stretch of waterside running along the entire peninsula. It was in this area that the city's first wharf took shape and which probably was the cause of the city's origin many years ago. That wharf became so intimately a part of the city life that the entire city gained fame as a maritime centre.
The Phoenicians, the first known settlers to occupy the Island, reputedly erected at Birgu a temple dedicated to their tutelary goddess, Astarte. When Phoenicia fell before Assyria, its empire passed to its colony of Carthage and then by conquest to Rome. Under the latter, the temple was rededicated to the Roman goddess Juno to whom Astarte most closely corresponded.
Upon the arrival of the knights of St. John in Malta in 1530, after having abandoned Rhodes some years earlier, Birgu was chosen as the seat of the Order. Here they established their conventual's church for their worship, the auberges for their residence, and the arsenal for the construction and maintenance of their fleet. As result of general reconstruction taking place, Birgu was at the time referred to as Citta Nuova, the New City. During the great siege of 1565, when Malta faced the might of the Ottoman Empire, the city played a decisive role. For its contribution towards the final victory, Grand Master La Valette renamed it "Civitas Victoriosa" which name in Italian form, it still bears.
During the World War Two, Birgu, together with the areas around the Grand Harbour, became the main target of enemy action. Various historical buildings in Birgu were demolished and parts of the city were rebuilt on modern lines, with no regard being given to the city's original architecture. Fortunately, however, most of the pre-war city plan remains more or less intact. Within the confines of its bastions, the population of Birgu tended to grow in line with the increased maritime activity: from 2,500 at the time of the Order's arrival, it had soared to 5,800 at the beginning of the 19th century and to over 7,000 by 1939. As people sought refuge elsewhere during the war years, the number dropped to around 3,069.
Nowadays Birgu keeps in its narrow streets the rich historical heritage and the unique atmosphere of a beautiful and enigmatic place.

Reveal Lazio | Italy
Roma and Lazio are eternally entwined together throughout history. The Romans themselves were mostly settlers from the other towns in Latium; they spoke Latin, the language of the region.
Indeed many of the towns of Lazio are considerably older than Rome, a mysterious mix of Etruscan, Phoenician, Greek and local cultures. Rome began her conquest of their known world by first dominating the Latin towns of Alba and Praeneste.
To this day Rome pulls people into its orbit, so much that the time-pressed traveler visits only a few places in Lazio. Usually people manage a day trip to Tivoli to see Hadrian's Villa and the Villa d'Este with its cascades of fountains, and that is all. If they are lucky, they might spend half a day to see Velletri and Frascati, where sharp flavored grapes are still made into the wine called Castelli Romani.
What they miss are the great provincial towns of the Popes and their families in Viterbo, in Bracciano and in Frascati. The coastal towns of Ostia, Anzio, Gaeta, Nettuno, Terracina and the Pontine Islands, each with its own special history, are also places to relax and enjoy, for the beaches are broad and golden, and the sea is bright and warm. Here also Circe sat and weaved her spells around Ulysses' sailors.
They also overlook the truly ancient Etruscan towns of Veii, Bolsena, Cerveteri, Nepi and many more, their ancient spirits whispering to each other among the worn down tumuli and sunken graves.
Great places to get way from it all and lose yourself in the twists of hidden valleys, where crooked old watchtowers, warm welcoming abbeys and the broken columns of Roman villas can still be spied. Never known of to the occasional tourist, never seen or marveled on.
So when you are in Rome, do as the Romans do and enjoy the truly rewarding experience of enjoying the great and magical countryside around it that is called Lazio.

Mike Heiser End time Delusion |ID#shabb-122112-mheiser
Warn Radio welcomes Guest Michael S. Heiser Phd to the show this friday night. Mike and the Watchman discuss end time delusions, the anti-christ, tribulation, and more. Todays show on the heralded "Mayan Apocalypse" brings to light many types of delusions and also the church whose own expectations can lead them into delusion. This is an important show which will waken up your spiritual and biblical senses to the unseen reality which is seen today.
Key Show tags regarding this segment: Michael S. Heiser,Mayan Apocalypse, facade, delusion, tribulation, anti-christ, 666, Daniel, End of days, Facade, Portent, end time, Sitchin, Nibiru, 12th planet, UFO's, Aliens, Demonic, Anunnaki, Nephilim, Elohim, Ancient Astronauts, Sirus Mystery
Mike Heiser is working on his sequal to the Facade which brings to the table the delusion and how the enemy can bring it in to deceive many. Mike works to put himself into the seat of chief deceiver as he writes the characters and builds the story. This way the book can reflect the type of deceptions that can be seen this way. Although it is fiction, the book has many historic and biblical facts. The only thing fiction about the book is the story line around these main facts etc. His sequel is called Portent and will be released soon.
We had many topics on the show tonight but could not cover them all. These are among the topics: Mayan, Apocalypse, end of days, Sitchin, Nibiru, 12th planet, UFO's, Aliens, Demonic, Anunnaki, Nephilim, Elohim, Ancient Astronauts, Sirus Mystery. The last time Mike was on was some 5 years or so ago. His first interview we did was on the Nephilim and Genesis account. You can still find it on the archives here; www.warn-usa.com/watchman-network/ when you go to the site look for the UFO page. All the downloads are at the bottom of the page, his will be among them. The UFO page has many top people on UFO's with whom we did interviews.
“Let's get the academic stuff out of the way first. I have an M.A. and Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My dissertation was entitled, “The Divine Council in Late Canonical and Non-Canonical Second Temple Jewish Literature” (English translation: the dissertation dealt with the presence of a pantheon in the Hebrew Bible and the binitarian nature of ancient Israelite religion and Judaism, a backdrop for the the belief in the deity of Christ in the New Testament). Before going to the UW-Madison, I also earned an M.A. in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania (major fields, Ancient Syria-Palestine and Egyptology). I can do translation work in roughly a dozen ancient languages, among them Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Greek, Aramaic, Syriac, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Phoenician, Moabite, Ugaritic cuneiform, and Klingon (just kidding there). I have also studied Akkadian and Sumerian independently. All that but I have difficulty understanding my wife (she'd vouch for that). Mike Heiser http://www.michaelsheiser.com/
