Brighton, 2012
Brighton is the major part of the city of Brighton and Hove (formed from the previous towns of Brighton, Hove, Portslade and several other villages) on the south coast of Great Britain. Formerly part of the non-metropolitan county of East Sussex, it remains part of the ceremonial county of East Sussex, within the historic county of Sussex. The ancient settlement of Brighthelmstone dates from before Domesday Book (1086), but it emerged as a health resort featuring sea bathing during the 18th century and became a destination for day-trippers from London after the arrival of the railway in 1841. Brighton experienced rapid population growth, reaching a peak of over 160000 by 1961. Modern Brighton forms part of the Brighton/Worthing/Littlehampton conurbation stretching along the coast, with a population of around 480000. Brighton has two universities and a medical school (which is operated jointly by both universities).

Anthea & Anand Surgery Home Newcastle Northumbria
Northumberland is a county in the North East of England. The non-metropolitan county of Northumberland borders Cumbria to the west, County Durham to the south and Tyne and Wear to the south east, as well as having a border with the Scottish Borders council area to the north, and nearly eighty miles of North Sea coastline. Since 1974 the county council has been located in Morpeth, situated in the east of the county; however, both Morpeth and Alnwick claim the title county town. As the kingdom of Northumbria under King Edwin, the region's historical boundaries stretched from the Humber in the south to the Forth in the north. The historic boundaries of the county cover a different area, including Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the traditional county town, as well as Tynemouth and other settlements in North Tyneside, areas administered by Tyne and Wear since 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972. The historic boundaries of the county are sometimes taken to exclude Islandshire, Bedlingtonshire and Norhamshire (collectively North Durham), exclaves of County Durham which were incorporated into Northumberland in 1844. Being on the border of Scotland and England, Northumberland has been the site of many battles. The county is noted for its undeveloped landscape of high moorland, a favourite with landscape painters, and now largely protected as a National Park. Dr Anand anandjee

Tiverton Youth Centre Celebrate Refurbishment
TIVERTON YOUTH CENTRE celebrated its refurbishment last week with an open day event for members of the public. Among those in attendance were town, district and county councillors, as well as former and current staff of the youth centre which is managed by Devon County Council. The centre was refurbished and back in use earlier this summer, but since then young people using the building have spent time decorating the walls with their own artwork. The day took place between 3pm and 6pm on Sunday 28 October with live music, Zorbs, art and craft, a cake stall and cream teas. For more information, interviews and a look at the day, please see our video below.

MCC YORKSHIRE GROUP IN SELBY
selby abbey Selby is a busy and growing market town, 12 miles south of the City of York, in North Yorkshire, England. Although historically part of Yorkshire's West Riding, Selby is now the southern most district in the non-metropolitan county of North Yorkshire. The town's population, known as Selebians, was 13012 as of the last national Census (2001). Built around Selby Abbey as it's magnificent centrepiece, much of the town's wealth historically came from the banks river on which it sits, The River Ouse. The port of Selby was hugely important to the towns growth as was it's canal, linking the town with Leeds.
