Amiga Longplay [312] Walker
www.recordedamigagames.org Played By ScHlAuChi A nice shooter from the developers of Grand Theft Auto and Lemmings, but gets repetitive quite fast. The lack of powerups or extraweapons is disappointing, and the later levels get ridiculously hard - so hard that it would have been impossible to finish the game without the use of AutoFire! (prevents overheating and then jamming of your guns - just in case you wonder why the temperature never rises) The original movie is recorded with 25fps, as in the early longplay days we didnt use 50fps, so every 2nd frame is missing, thats exactly the ones where the heat meter would go up one pixel due ot the autofire in WinUAE. Note: Anyone who doesnt read the video info and claims im cheating gets an instant ban - not because he might be right that Autofire is considered cheating which it ISNT according to OUR rules, but he will be instantly banned for being unable to read the video info before commenting!

WALKER (AMIGA) -- a review by the RETRO GAMBLER
A review of "Walker" from DMA Design and Psygnosis, for the Commodore Amiga. Enjoy! The background story: The shape grew in the dark. A grinding and clashing of metal filled the dank air as the immense hulk rose to its feet. Soldiers looked on, paralysed by fear at the shape that now stood tall and menacing scant distance ahead. The machine settled itself, almost relaxing on its haunches like a puma in wait, muscles flinching, silent and purposeful. A powerful hum drew attention towards the towering monster as gun turrets swung smoothly into view and began to scan the scene. Shouted orders now issued back and forth across the lines of infantry men who spurred into action. A rumbling heavy cannon drew up behind the lines with a loud hiss as airbrakes brought its colossal weight to a halt. Yet it was still dwarfed by the Walker. And there they lay, face to face; the might of the Endalion Time Force - a specially trained unit with the latest mortar technology and the best back-up hardware money can buy (Super Wild Card?!) - against the Walker, the machine from the future. It came as no surprise, of course, to the troops on the ground facing the Walker; they'd been waiting and preparing for weeks now, waiting for the time vacuum to burst its deadly load upon their doorsteps. But when the Walker did arrive, its sheer size drove dread into the hearts of the troops who's task it was to destroy it. The history of The Time Wars was scarred with appearances such as this. The war ...

Walker on the Commodore Amiga. Gameplay & Commentary
www.retrogamingcollector.com ---------------- Gameplay & commentary from Walker by Psygnosisplaying on the Commodore Amiga vintage home computer. Retro gaming. This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability. It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like. It's also here so that I can embed it, along with most of the games in my collection, on my website (see link above). Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt. They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.

Walker (Amiga) - A Playguide and Review - by LemonAmiga.com
In this playguide we'll take a walk through Walkers first three worlds, taking a look at the weapons, vehicles, attack patters and game mechanics along the way. There is often an easy way to complete each stage of a level, and hopefully I can show you a few tricks and tips to help you out. Walker is a very tough game, and is not for the faint hearted. All the action is played in real time (except for the last bit), with the on-screen action often visually and audibly frantic in the heat of battle. Thanks for watching.

Mind Walker on the Amiga - Part 1
I try to play through Mind Walker, but die eventually ( the game gets crazy near the end.) Emulated with WinUAE 2.3.3, in 1080p HD! I used the D3D hq2x filter to scale up to 1440x1080, the actual resolution is a somewhat less than high definition 320x200. :D Also, YouTube limits the frame rate to only 30 so I had to interpolate down from the original (and much smoother) 60 fps. :(

Walker - Amiga Game - My Favorite Games On Amiga.
This is Walker from Psygnosis for the Commodore Amiga. You are in control of a 20 meter high mechanical walker, which resembles to AT-ST from Star Wars, and you are shooting with your double barrel machinegun at soldiers, tanks, planes, trains, trucks and even a giant zeppelin baloon ! Do you need anything more than that ? Thanks for watching and feel free to rate and comment.

WALKER (AMIGA - FULL GAME)
Zeus presents Walker (un-emulated) for theAmiga A500. A true classic from the golden era of amiga gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game. Year of release: 1994 What can i say about this game?,...well is it Robocop's arch enemy on the lose?! who knows. Blast through four time zones killing everything in your sight while controlling this ray-traced mad killing machine with both joystick & mouse,...bit tricky. To be honest after 30mins i was actually praying for this game to end soon, i found it sooooo boring, still nice to have in the collection. I used the infinite energy cheat so i could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure. Hope all you Amiga fans enjoy this upload. Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you're watching the real thing. I will also always state weather i am using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any. Check out my channel (www.youtube.com dedicated to gamers who loved the games of yesteryear. Switch to 480p for best video quality and feel free to leave comments on my channel and vid's. Keeping the memory of the Amiga and it's cool games alive!!!

Walker, Amiga - Overlooked Oldies
Walker is a game of very enjoyable carnage and explosions. You control a large bipedal mech with big nasty machine guns and go through the level killing everything. It's very satisfying, but it does get repetitive. Would have been nice to have more types of guns too. This is a request by trusteft. Walker on Moby Games: www.mobygames.com "OverlookedOldies" is a series of let's play videos of retro games that I somehow never played back in the day. Many of them will be suggestions made by subscribers. Intro music is from the classic "cracktro" by Unit A.
