Alessandra Mussolini (born 30 December 1962) is an Italian politician, the granddaughter of Benito Mussolini, and previously an actress and model. She is the founder and former leader of the national conservative political party Social Action; from 2004 until 2008, Mussolini also served as Member of the European Parliament, and has since been a member of the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Italian Parliament, for the ruling People of Freedom party.

Some of Mussolini's noted stances are in regards to social views on women's and children's rights and role within both the family unit and society in general.

Alessandra Mussolini was born in Rome, the daughter of Romano Mussolini, the fourth son of the Fascist leader Benito Mussolini, and Anna Maria Villani Scicolone (born 11 May 1938, Rome). The actress Sophia Loren is her maternal aunt.

From 1976 to 1980 she went to high school at the American Overseas School of Rome. She graduated in 1986 from Università di Rimini, where she got her Master of Arts in film management.

Giuseppe Piero Grillo, better known as Beppe Grillo (born 21 July 1948), is an Italian activist, blogger, comedian and actor. He has been involved in politics since 2009 as leader of the Five Star Movement.

Grillo was born in Genoa, Liguria.

After receiving his degree as an accountant, Grillo became a comedian by chance, improvising a monologue in an audition. Two weeks later he was discovered and launched by Italian TV presenter Pippo Baudo. He subsequently participated in the variety show Secondo Voi for two years (1977–78). Later, in 1979, he participated in Luna Park by Enzo Trapani, and Fantastico.

In the 1980s his success rose further, thanks to shows like Te la do io l'America (1982, 4 episodes) and Te lo do io il Brasile (1984, six episodes). In these shows, he narrated his experiences of his visits to the United States and Brazil, with anecdotes and witticisms about the culture, lifestyle and beauty of these places.

As a result, his popularity grew more and more, and he became the protagonist of another show developed especially for him, called Grillometro (Grillometer). In 1986, he was the star of prize-winning advertisements for a brand of yogurt.

Gad Lerner (born 7 December 1954 in Beirut, Lebanon) is an Italian journalist and writer.

A member of the Jewish community, he began his news career in 1976, writing for the ultra-leftist daily Lotta Continua, belonging to the eponymous political entity, becoming its deputy director. He then worked for the Genoan daily Il Lavoro, as well as for Radio Popolare, the communist newspaper Il Manifesto and the weekly newsmagazine L'Espresso.

Notoriety and success came when he started working for television broadcasts on Rai Tre, among which Profondo Nord and Milano, Italia. His reporting coincided with the infamous years of bribery scandals, known as Tangentopoli (Italian for Bribesville), and the ascent of the Lega Nord separatist political movement - Lerner successfully portrayed in his shows the deep changes the country was experiencing.

He later served as director deputy director of the national newspaper La Stampa and briefly as director of news broadcasts for TG1 and Rai Uno. He publicly resigned after a selection of pornographic footage was mistakenly aired on prime time during his news broadcast, TG1. Along with his resignation, he revealed that a politician from National Alliance, Mario Landolfi, who also was the president of the parliamentary commission of vigilance regarding the public TV broadcasting service, asked him to favour an acquaintance of his in the TG1.

Wu Ming (extended name: Wu Ming Foundation) is a pseudonym for a group of Italian authors formed in 2000 from a subset of the Luther Blissett community in Bologna.

In their pre-Wu Ming days, the group wrote the novel Q (first edition 1999).

Unlike the open name "Luther Blissett", "Wu Ming" stands for a defined group of writers active in literature and popular culture. The band authored several novels, some of which have been translated in many countries.

Their books are seen as part of a body of literary works (the "nebula", as it is frequently called in Italy) described as the New Italian Epic, a phrase that was proposed by Wu Ming themselves.

In Chinese, "wu ming" means "anonymous" (simplified Chinese: 无名; traditional Chinese: 無名; pinyin: wú míng) but the collective initially adopted the name as a pun, for "wu ming" also means "five people" (五名) when the first syllable is pronounced with another tone. The name of the band is meant both as a tribute to dissidents ("Wu Ming" is a common byline among Chinese citizens demanding democracy and freedom of speech) and as a rejection of the celebrity-making machine which turns the author into a star. "Wu Ming" is also a reference to the third sentence in the Dàodéjīng (Tao Te Ching): "Wu ming tian di zhi shi"（無名天地之始), "Nameless is Heaven's and Earth's Origin".

Daniel Ezralow is a dancer and choreographer. In addition to having his own dance company, he has choreographed for the theatre, opera, film, and television.

Ezralow studied dance at the University of California at Berkeley and graduated in 1976. He began as a dancer with the dance companies 5X2 Plus, Lar Lubovitch, Paul Taylor, and Pilobolus. He was one of the original dancer-choreographer’s of MOMIX and is a founding member of ISO Dance. In The New York Times review in 1986, the reviewer noted that "Daniel Ezralow is an unforgettably gutsy and intelligent virtuoso dancer."

He has created original works for, among many, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Batsheva Dance Company of Israel, the London Contemporary Dance Theatre, and the Cirque du Soleil show LOVE. His company, the Daniel Ezralow Dance Company has performed at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, Israel, in the 2008-09 season. In a review of his work Super Straight is coming down by the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in 1989, the reviewer wrote that it is a "coldly tormented work", and that "Ezralow has put his own manic stamp on the piece--the headlong barrel turns, the galumphing leaps, the desperate floor rolls--and has potently contrasted such excesses with moments of sullen stillness."
