Tour of Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, Deir-el-Bahri, Luxor, Egypt
After we came out from the Alabaster shop, we were taken to Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, Deir-el-Bahri which is just outside Luxor and is behind the Valley of the Kings. Our tour guide refused to give us a guided tour, because she said there was nothing there! So we went up on our own and found some interesting things such as "The Polish and Egyptian Archaeological Society"

EL MOALLA: is an archaeological site at north of Esna and near and in front Gebelein, here are two tombs of the First Intermediate Period : the tomb of Ankhtifi and Sobekhotep, both with magnificent paintings. DEIR EL BAHARI IV: in this case with the Nebhepetre Mentuhotep Temple,This Temple is located beside the temple of Hatshepsut (The Queen was based on this temple to build her temple after). It has 2 terraces hypostyle mastaba sanctuary and finally a chapel carved into the rock. NAG EL MADAMUD: 8 km from Thebes was the ancient city of Madu, was a place of worship of the god Montu, here was a temple dedicated to this god. Built by Nebhepetre Mentuhotep & Sesostris III and was continued by others, but nothing is preserved of this original temple today, however there are remains of temples built during the new empire & Greco-Roman period as the new temple to the god Montu (images). BEIT KHALLAF: near the village of Beit Khallaf are 5 very large brick mastabes belonging to the III Dyn,here were found clay seals with the names of Zoser and Zanakht

EGYPT 195 - HATSHEPSUT Temple *DEIR EL BAHARI II* - (by Egyptahotep)
More Own images of The Hatshepsut's Temple in Deir el-Bahari .This temple is unique in its kind in Egypt. The work was designed by architect Senemut, built in the form of terraces, with frame buildings and colonnaded courtyard, in perfect harmony of proportions which integrates brilliantly with the steep hillside, located behind the temple, making a spectacular scenery . The first monument built on the site was the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II of Dynasty XI and you can see it beside.Hatshepsut used the temple of Mentuhotep as a model.the temple has a long colonnaded terrace that deviated from the model of Mentuhotep, There are three terraces , The temple corresponds to the classical Theban form, employing Pylon, grandstands, hypostyle passage, chapel and sanctuary. The sculpture in the temple of Hatshepsut's divine birth tells the pharaoh queen, and also paintings of scenes of Punt expedition.,At the left there is a little hathor annex temple you can see it in this video too. also many head Statues of this Famous Queen
