Rover 3500S from M6 J36 towards Endmoor (A65)
We leave the motorway almost as soon as the footage starts, taking the exit at junction 36. We head along the slightly bereaved tail-end of the A65, which has lost much of its traffic since the opening of the A590 road - only the small village of Endsmoor is signposted along this important sounding road. At [1:31] we can see the motorway passing over the road. The Texaco filling station by the motorway bridge is used by the National Express coaches on the England-Scotland routes.

Endmoor (A65) - Rover P6B 3500S
We leave the village of Endmoor to head towards Kendal. This is the A65, which perhaps needs to be renumbered as a B-Road in these parts, leaving the A65 number as a through route all the way to Keswick? Just a thought.

Incredible UFO Sighting And Abduction At High Bentham
On Sunday the 16th of January 2005 at around 5pm, four members of the Deverow family were eating at the Little Chef restaurant on the A65 road near Ingleton, North Yorkshire. They had enjoyed a family day out and would be making the journey back home to their moorland farmhouse a couple of miles south of High Bentham on the boarder between Lancashire and North Yorkshire. The family members were Anne, her daughter Rachel and Rachel's two sons Alex and Benjamin aged nine and eleven. The family finished their meal and drove north on the A65 towards Ingleton. Rachel was the driver of the car, her eldest son Alex was in the passenger seat and her mother Anne, together with youngest son Benjamin sat in the back. At the time the route they took was hazy but the boys commented on how the row of terraced cottages with chimneys stood out against the sky. The terraced cottages are located on a land off the A65 which leads south to High Bentham because of this detail it is probably safe to assume that this is the route they took that evening. As the journey progressed all four family members became well aware of a bright white light in the sky to their left. They later described the object as being about the size of a car headlight and being so bright that the moon when compared to it appeared yellow in colour. The object then moved across the sky and became visible through the windscreen Anne recalled the object going upwards and then hovering right above the car. At this point the ...

Sony A65 Video Test 35028 Clan Line Victoria to Exeter 3rd May 2012
35028 Clan Line on the Cathedrals Express from (1Z91) London Victoria to Exeter St. Davids running via Templecombe and Honiton and returning (1Z92) via Castle Cary and Yeovil Junction. From Exeter St. Davids EWS 66001 was attached at the rear of the train as a reverse move was required at Castle Cary, the diesel taking the 13 coach train back to Yeovil Juction where Clan Line re-gained the road for the return to London Victoria. This was my 1st video test using my Sony A65 with a Tamron 17-55 zoom lens. The video was shot using the MP4 video mode (1440-1080 resolution) I used this mode because it can easily be uploaded to an iPad.

London Olympic torch relay in Ilkley yorkshire 24 june 2012
The London Olympic torch runs through the beutiful Yorkshire town of Ilkley. The The flames comes towards the end. It may have taken until day 37 to arrive... but it was worth the wait for thousands who turned out in Ilkley to see the Olympic flame. Estimates suggest more than 20000 people lined the streets to catch a brief glimpse of the torch as it made its way through the town on Sunday. The sun came out at just the right time to shine on the relay, and as with other places across the district, the crowds turned out in enormous numbers. And spectators were treated to the sight of one of their own -- 74-year-old Margaret Cook -- among the trio of torchbearers. Mrs Cook, a former nurse, who has been instrumental in helping Soroptimists International in Sierra Leone, was wreathed in smiles as she accepted the flame right in the centre of Ilkley. She set off at a gentle jog acknowledging the crowds, who had taken up every available vantage point, including the top of traffic lights, and were 20-deep in some places along the route, which was along Skipton Road and Leeds Road on the A65. Mrs Cook, who lives in Ilkley, was also accompanied by the bells of All Saints Church, which sounded a full peal to announce the arrival of the Olympic Torch, which is now more than halfway along the 8000-mile relay across the United Kingdom.
