This is the new Vimeo.
We’re in the process of transitioning all our members and visitors to the brand new Vimeo. You’re on it right now!
We made zillions of improvements that cover the front end, the back end, and the parts in between to create a Vimeo that is bigger, faster, and more fun. Scroll down to see what’s new.

Brand New Video Page
The new Vimeo brings even more focus to your videos with a video page that is more cinematic, with a larger, full-width video player and fewer distractions. Your eyeballs are going to adore it. We've also reorganized commonly used tools and created new keyboard shortcuts so you can navigate to the next video, “like” a video, or go full-screen without lifting a finger (off your keyboard, anyway).
Better Browsing
Our video browser (the cool kids here call it the “brozar”) now sits on top of the video page and stays hidden until you need it. To access it, click the “More Videos” flag in the upper right corner of any video page, or use the keyboard shortcut “M.” The video browser also provides more ways to discover things you like. Jump to your feed (see below), recently watched videos, watch later list, and more, all from one convenient spot.

Introducing Following
We’ve consolidated contacts and subscriptions into a single new concept: following. You can follow people, Channels, tags, and more. When you follow something, you’ll get updates on it in your feed. All of your current contacts and subscriptions will carry over to the new Vimeo, and you’ll have many more opportunities to follow the things you like, starting right on any video page.

Your Inbox Is Now Your Feed
You already have enough inboxes in your life, so we changed your inbox on Vimeo to your feed. You can watch videos inside your feed and quickly scan lots of new videos with the thumbnails view mode — complete with larger, 16x9 thumbnails. What else? Your feed scrolls infinitely, and you can even search it. Open up and say ahhh.
Better Uploading
Sometimes you have a bunch of videos to upload all at once. Making this happen was once an engineering challenge, but the guy with the thick glasses in the back of our office did something that made it okay to upload more than one file at a time. He also created a dynamic file detection system that lets you know if your video is formatted properly while you upload it. He added a live thumbnail preview, too. Yes, we’ll hug him on your behalf.
Advanced Search
We’ve seen a huge increase in people using search to find interesting stuff on Vimeo, so we've added ways to get better results. Just click Show Advanced Filters on any search results page, and whether you’re hot on the trail of videos, people, Channels, or something in the forums, we can help you find what you’re looking for.
-
More Privacy Control
Because videos are personal creations, we’re giving you some all-new privacy options. You can hide your activity stream on your profile page and hide your stats on your video page. And because sometimes you don’t want other people on the Internet to contact you, you can now block members on Vimeo. Furthermore, private videos and their thumbnails are more clearly labeled “Private,” so you always know what people can and can’t see.
-
Recently Viewed + Related Videos
What was that cool video you watched a couple of days ago? Wait, you didn't like it or add it to your watch later list? Not a problem. Now you can check out your Recently Viewed list in the video browser. And getting stuck in a video-watching vortex is now easier with Related Videos, which makes use of our new recommendation engine to suggest videos that you might like.
-
Browse Videos with Creative Commons Licenses
Our members love using Creative Commons licenses to rework, remix, and reimagine, which is why we built a whole new section to help you discover videos available with Creative Commons licenses. Browse and search millions of videos categorized by license type and learn about what you can (and can't) do with other people’s videos on Vimeo.
