"Firearmageddon:" Gun Racks Go Bare at Gunnies by Nutnfancy
This is bad history in the making. With the onslaught of the disarmament mob heading towards American gun owners, the shelves are going bare...fast. Come along for a Nutnfancy media event as we check in with Gunnies Gun Store and Western Wear in Orem, UT to this phenomena up close. We start out in the turbo Z for the drive down in rare sunshine. Upon arriving we hook up with our TNP friend Bryan Hood again, callsign Coyote, as we walk and talk through the store. Gunnies is one of the best gun stores I've seen with wide selection, decent prices, knowledgeable staff (some!), and unwaivering 2nd Amendment support. But here you will see the panic buying that is sweeping America as King Obama presses forward with his disarmament policy, just as I have been warning the world about for all of 2012. No matter, it's here and it's now. We discuss we people have been buying, for how much, and even do a couple of gear checks on TNPrs. Many of you will break down and cry when you see the low prices, still, on some of the guns shown: $560 for a Glock. But with outrageous, unprecedented demand these prices and availability are ephemeral. There is no re-supply in sight, many mfrs are refusing orders throughout 2013 and will wait to see what anti-self defense legislation transpires. It is an eye opening and regrettable historic event. But remember this: when everything is illegal, nothing is.

"The Greater Good: Outlaw Guns?!" Pt 1 by Nutnfancy
Another hard hitting, truth dart TNP video. The mob cometh and it is pissed. Some perhaps many will show up here to this video to criticize you and the "out of control" gun culture in America. Note also that many write you from socialist foreign countries [note their YT page!], wish us to embrace their enlightenment. These "mobsters" are beyond reason, beyond the grasp of facts. Should they show up, you have the mission to shred them in the comment section relentlessly. Those are the new ground rules and they've set them. If the Constitution is at stake, and it is, a new paradigm is to be created with this video. Springboarding off a mass shooting tragedy by a madmen (as predicted), MOB RULES, MOB LEGISLATION promises to set heavy upon your Natural Right of unrestricted firearms ownership. Hate filled vitriolic attacks are being sent against good people of America who choose to be armed. Death threats are among those...all from the supposed peace loving, gun (and knife) hating progressive. The media foments this uprising as a very determined and unified "playbook" is run in accordance with plan. Their aim ultimately is NOT increased public safety but increased people control and enlargement of government (their solution to everything). Call it socialism. I do. What's "on the table" is not the real solutions discussed in the video. Instead it's the BLAME GAME where again fall guys are sought for the actions of the deranged and lawless. Those fall guys are you and I and as ...

"The Greater Good: Arm Up!!" Pt 2 by Nutnfancy
You are witnessing a propaganda war of the first magnitude. It is historical, it is frightening...and it is here now. Exploiting a school shooting tragedy by a criminally insane gunman, the Protectionists, as I predicted, are coming after you. The lawful American gun owner, the ultimate protector of freedom and rights in this country, is targeted with a Marxist-like disarmament plan. This Part 2 of "Greater Good" video series attacks the deceit of that "black ops" campaign head on. Addressed in forthright and unabashed fashion are "Grief for Propaganda's Sake," "Our Values Are Gone, Our Parenting Is Gone, We Reap the Reward," "Truly Protecting the Children," and "Can You Make/Keep Us Safe?" Along the way the gruesome depiction of violence by Hollywood and the video games [shown] could be inspirational for unstable or immoral individuals. And yet no meaningful criticism is leveled to these sources by the complicit media. Nope. That is reserved solely for the heretofore peaceful, law abiding citizen gun owner. He is to be registered, taxed, harassed, accused, threatened, demonized, and in subsequent stages of this agenda, completely disarmed. "Dangerous things" whether they be guns, cars, buses, etc. operating millions of time a day in the US, are not the problem and they continue to keep us safe, free, entertained, and autonomous. This is unacceptable to the Protectionist. In reality and as discussed, this has nothing to do with "keeping the children safe." It is a people ...

"FN FNAR: Repel Pirates...And Other Bad Guys" by Nutnfancy
Modern day piracy on the high seas. Kidnappings, murders, hijackings, theft, and attacks of vessels happen frequently. Sounds like it's a good time to arm up. Take an FNAR. From some hard core testing in TNP, the FNAR proved it's up to the task. It will dominate small bore 5.56mm or even 7.62x39mm rifles in range and power, giving the "Captain" more options in engagement (motor disabling, body armor penetration). This is just one of the fascintation POUs discussed for the capable FNAR. Based on the sporting BAR rifle, the FNAR features many upgrades making in more suitable for tactical use: M1913 Picatinny Rail on receiver, rails of forearm, widely adaptable ergos with buttpads and cheek pieces (included), comfortable pistol grip, matte finishing, parkerized chrome lined 1/11 fluted barrel, aluminum receiver, excellent 4.5 trigger, detachable 5, 10,20 rd mags (easy to load as well) and perfect checkering on the synthetic stock. A discussion of this sporting rifle in comparison to the M1A ensues with emphasis on pedigree. Reliability of the FNAR was outstanding with both ball, soft point, and match ammunition cycling with near perfect reliability. We did find rounds can lodge between the bolt and the upper receive due to tolerances. Accuracy was excellent and this SAPR is capable of sub MOA performance with match ammo and care (shown). Much of our shooting consisted of long range engagements on Actiontarget.com steel (use code nutnfancy) and the FNAR proved itself to be a ...

Mention NUTNFANCY in all Honeyville store locations to receive 15% OFF on SIX #10 cans or more until 31 Jan 2013!!! Not valid for online sales yet.///////////////////// Base your food storage off of freeze dried foods and supplement with canned if you have space. That is the official TNP position. There are many reasons for that but the key ones are longevity of storage (25 years!), lightweight, durability, and portability. They need only water for reconstitution and in most cases you will have immediately edible and delicious food. Combining ingredients into Meals in a Jar will provide complete meals for you. Lisa B, Mrs Nutnfancy, and I continue to run down the aisles of a Honeyville Grains Store discussing all this and much more. Many freeze dried offerings are shown and discussed. We will go into protein options to include the Ova Easy egg option. With prior preparation there's no reason to suffer from appetitie fatigue. Buy a case if you can, a can if can't. Little by little you can store up these #10 Honeyville food can options and you will be glad you did. Then under proper storage conditions rest easy knowing you have a food option that will be good for a quarter of a century ("use your three senses"). "The Greater Good: Searches & Seizures" by Nutnfancy
Intended for the Protectionists, these faith destroying questions shatter their Utopian approach to keeping people "safe." As established in previous parts, MUCH more is in play with a proposed AWB and subsequent legislation. They will tell you they're not concerned about YOU, but the evil doer. You are an acceptable casualty. But to make us safer "for the greater good" YOU will have to be controlled, tracked, and regulated to get there. You will find the truth much more interesting and frightening. Are they really concerned about loss of life and if so why so many desperate approaches to so called "dangerous things?" What if it's unenforceable against the very unhinged individuals that it's intended for? What if these very small percentage "mass shooting" events [which kill far fewer people that other "dangerous things"] continue to happen? What happens to you, Mr law abiding citizen and your Natural Right of Self Defense against tyranny and evil then. With the failure of this gun law and future ones are they still for YOUR registration, taxation, and confiscation? Yes. That's because they don't want YOU armed and they fear YOU. As such a wide net will be thrown to make sure you get caught: possible searches and seizures, road blocks, random checks, agency involvement. All supported by the "Do-Gooder" Protectionist. That is the real and ominous agenda at play in the United States and it will get worse. Other "pro freedom" media waste time and effort discussing things ...

Nutnfancy SHOT Show 2011: Beretta Set to Embarrass ACR!
Beretta swoops in from left field with the seemingly excellent ARX160 tactical carbine, set to come ashore sometime in the future. Here's a first look at this impressive little 6.5 lb carbine lb (about time someone other than Kel-Tec got the weight right!). Here you will see us check out some of its cool features: seriously quick-change barrels (which have medium profile), inside-trigger-guard bolt release, no tool takedown, on-the-fly ambi bolt handle and ejection selection (wow), ambi safety, constant-engagement piston (no carrier tilt here), full railing, and excellent balance and trigger. Granted this is a first look and the proof lies in the shooting to discover the real ergos, accuracy, and durability. But all things are looking up with the impressive ARX160, especially its slated $1500-$1700 street price (subject to change). That puts it in the same value ballpark as a Ruger SR-556. In terms of weight, simplicity of design, and value it seems like it could deliver all the things the ACR and SCAR (value) series have not. Downsides might be the thicker handguard, the slim pistol grip, and limited adjustable stock; all of which might change in the production version. The ARX160 could be a big win for Beretta. Also we manage to get the admission that a .22 ARX version IS on the way as well. In the vid and here, I admonish Beretta to look carefully at the Sig 522 on how to make such a gun reliable with most ammo; dual stainless rails on which a highly polished bolt ...

"Favorite Fire Starters" by Nutnfancy
I prefer non-hokey, reliable outdoor gear. When TCE is limited, that's expecially true. When it's time to make a fire I don't consider it a recreational exercise, I just want to get a blaze fast with the least amount of work. Allie the Mountain Dog and I up are up at the high altitudes to show you our favorite and maybe not so favorite ways of making a fire. Shown are some flint and steel options, lighters, one handed striker, and a fire piston. Even a previous well-proven method fails on camera here, non setup. I took was surprised. It was a glorious fall day, just before snowfall, as I talk my philosophy on this stuff and maybe give you some tips on how to waste valuable time and energy next time you need a survival fire.

"Guns to Vanish From Shelves: CT Shooting" by Nutnfancy
Another tragedy has taken place in a FREE FIRE zone, this time an Elementary School. Real solutions to these rampage shootings have been stonewalled by the progressive agenda and a lot more people are dead because of it. On December 14, 2012, the date this response video was recorded, a gunman entered a school in CT armed with Glock, Sig, and AR-15 armaments and started shooting. As of the filming on this video the facts were still emerging. However the whys and hows he did it are less important to you than what will result because of it. Also 1000s of hours of analysis will be provided by the progressive media as the push forward a predicted propaganda that the US is an out of control gun nation and it much be reigned in. That propaganda is aimed at convincing all Americans that you and your guns are the real threat and immediate measures will have to be passed to "keep us safe." Those measures will include but not be limited to a new and expansive "AWB" as I predicted in "Preparing for the NEW America" video series [www.youtube.com "Congratulations" to non voters or protest voters who have helped keep Obama team in power to "push forward" with this determined disarmament "mandate." Expect magazine bans, specific type gun bans, features bans, registeration, ammo restrictions, and perhaps even NO grandfathering [discussed] on a federal level. This is not a probability, it's a coming fact thanks to new political realities desired by the majority. This shooting tragedy was ...

"Fear Not You Have An M1A" by Nutnfancy
Yay though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death I shall fear no evil....because I have a Springfield Armory M1A. Looked down upon by some because of its foreign manufacture and investment cast receiver, I discuss the realities of the SA M1A as I discovered them. This journey took me through 16 years of shooting these guns with heavy involvement here in TNP during the last three years. In meeting mil-spec, the SA M1A is far from the military M14 and differences abound. However in practical use they are the same gun and have the same capabilities. As such the SA M1A in some ways inherits the storied track record of the M14 as it continues to soldier on across the world killing bad guys at both close and long ranges. But it's also made its own track record, especially with me. I find the SA M1A to rank up there with the best heavy caliber semi-auto battle rifles made (FAL would be another). Reliability tops the list. During shooting tests three failed shots occurred (one FTE) but it was unclear if it was the 1980s machine gun ammo's fault or not. In Operation Red Skies (www.youtube.com my preferred type, the M1A Scout Squad, ran with impressive reliability. I would carry that gun into battle. Accuracy is also generally excellent from the type. I show both iron sight and optics assisted results but its reasonable to expect 1 to 2 MOA results with ammo it likes. Some SA M1As don't shoot quite that good and I show that too! Ergos carry over from the 1950s which is ...

"Evil Rises: Colorado Shooting Response" by Nutnfancy
Evil stormed into the late night theater in Colorado and cut loose. And no sheepdogs were around to stop it. Thus began yet another uncontested killing spree. Predators of the world come in many forms. This one was a former medical student dressed like the joker from Dark Knight, hair dyed red. He popped out through the exit and returned heavily armed with tear gas or OC. Using shotgun, AR, and Glock he killed at least 12 people, wounded many more. While it was chaotic, Holmes stopped to reload and many victims were within easy gun range to return fire. It could have made a big difference. Again we see that development and strict adherence to your concealed carry system can save your life and others'. And yet still I see many TNPrs neglect high percentage carry so they can function in these time critical roles in mass shootings. Maybe it's a theater, a restaurant, a park, a store, a theme park, a library, a concert, the train, or even your home. But you should be technically, mentally, and materially prepared to engage this active shooter. Nevertheless again we see this tragedy twisted by the protectionist as he attempts to mold it into a politically expedient way to register and disarm YOU. No, the answer to these attacks is not more laws, restrictions, and harassment and demonization of the good, law abiding American Gun Owner. If fact they hold the answer...they will be on scene first as they also function as the targets of these rampages. And that answer comes in the ...

"Walther PP & PPK: Code for Cool" by Nutnfancy
To appreciate the Walther PP and PPK you will have to understand its dual personality. Made famous in movies and video games, it has been a secret agent pop culture icon since the 1960s. James Bond of course leads the pack. But hundreds of other movies feature these handsome pistols. It is shown to have ridiculous but entertaining capabilities in these movies. Sinister Marissa Wiegler in "Hanna" takes out speeding a vehicle and its occupants at 75 yards with a Walther PP. But this sexy portrayal of the Walther PP/PPK has indoctrinated a generations of movie goers and I admit some influence here myself. But if the guns were substandard the story would end there. However in analyzing the other half of the PP/PPK personality you find a very capable defensive pistol with an amazing 80 year plus track record. Forget James Bond: real life Federal Agents, DEA Agents, SWAT Team Members, Contractors, Police Officers, Undercover Cops, CIA Agents, real life spies, and many civilian carry permit holders have relied upon these pistols for decades. I carried the Interarms PPK shown for sevens years myself as a primary carry gun and to this day I feel adequately armed with it. The PP design was ground breaking in 1931 and even still holds its own despite other stiff .380 competition. The PP/PPK features still are not matched by many .380 gun designs: ultra compactness, slimness, adequate lightweight, good sights, hammer drop safety you can choose to ignore, quality construction, easy ...

Sig SP2022: "The Stealth Sig" by Nutnfancy
This polymer Sig weighs less than the aluminum framed 200-series. But not by a lot; maybe a couple of ounces. I am always flabbergasted at manufacturers who produce a polymer pistol and it ends up weighing near 30 ounces. But once I get past THAT, things turn brighter on the Sig SP2022 in TNP testing...in fact it was downright surprising to me how well this gun ran. It is the successor to the marginally successful Sig Pro 2340, SP2009 series and is better. Better doesn't mean perfect however as the earlier SP2022s, with some bad parts and sloppy QC from Sig US had reliability issues. Upon its reintroduction, Sig got smart and had the gun made in Germany from 2008 on and those models seem to be 100% with good reports from various users. The gun shown and tested here is a good example of that. After 100s of rounds, the internal extractor equipped 9mm 2022 ran like a champ (even with Blazer aluminum cased ammo) and also showed very impressive accuracy. It is easily capable of 2"-3" groups at 25 yds. Ergonomics are excellent with swappable grip panels (shown), great night sights, a decent trigger, squared and roomy trigger guard, standard Picatinny rail, perfect slide serrations, easily accessed slide release lever, and the ideal Sig grip angle. Take down is a snap (shown). I prefer the standard DA/SA Sig trigger for its speed, safety, and precision and the SP2022 happily includes it. Firepower in this SP2022 is an adequate 15 rds but you can run extended capacity MecGar mags ...

"Scope vs Red Dot: Real Shooting" by Nutnfancy
Precision or speed? Maybe you can have both...even with a scope. Most would consider 3 power to be ill suited to contact close rapid fire shots. Does it slow us down at 3 yards?! How about the Aimpoint ML2 working over 200 yd steel under low sun angles? How's the precision...with my older eyeballs? What's your best all around optics choice? We disregard other factors like durability, SAWC and concentrate on the sighting performance of each platform as send lead against our PBGs. While we have fun and kid around as usual, we cut through video gaming perceptions perhaps and show the real shooting realities of the two platforms.
