ES Posthumus - Suite: *Cartographer*
reupload.. ES Posthumus was an American music group from Los Angeles, in 2000 by brothers Helmut and Franz Vonlichten founded. The ES on behalf of the group stands for "Experimental Sounds". Due to the death of Franz Vonlichten in May 2010 was Helmut Vonlichten in July announced the end of the group The musical style of the group combines orchestral and choral music with elements of electronic music and percussion. The music of ES Posthumus recalls in part to strong film music and was therefore already in some movie trailers used, including the trailer for Spider-Man (Pompeii), Matrix Reloaded, Planet of the Apes. Furthermore, Nara is the title of her first album Unearthed as the theme song for the TV series Cold Case . Cartographer is the second album by ES Posthumus. The release of the album was originally scheduled for 2006, for unknown reasons, however, postponed the deadline several times, until the album finally appeared in early 2008. Cartographer to put ES Posthumus for the first time in addition to orchestra and choir and a solo singing voice that will be contributed by the soprano Luna Sans. The album consists of two discs, which make up the second CD of remixes of the first CD. In the remix versions of the solo vocal parts by choral vocals and solo instruments are replaced. The second CD is similar in sound so strongly to the first album Unearthed. .

The Cartographer's Story
This movie is a cinematic introduction to my work in cartography. I'm going to be starting a new series here on the channel dealing with the subject and ideally helping out people who are interested in this pursuit. I've been passionate about drawing maps since I was in grade school. There are very few serious fantasy cartographers out there, in large part because there's very little real work for cartographers. The joy, for me, is in creating the world -- the act of drawing it and making it real defines so much about the world that I wouldn't come up with just writing about it. This particular map is one of my largest projects, taking about 100 hours to complete since it involved learning a lot about geography and shading. The video shows a very simplified version of it, appearing in compiled layers. The world is also one of my favorites -- Evensfell. It's a world I've been thinking of since 2002 during my (very short) enlistment in the Marine Corps. I'm sure I'll talk more about this world in the future, too. I understand not many people will be interested in this subject matter. However, it's difficult to get in touch with people interested in this, and far more difficult to get specialized tutorials on the subject -- I'm hoping the audience here on YouTube will help me connect with these people.
