  Amanda Peterson (born July 8, 1971) is an American actress. Peterson gained fame during the late 1980s when she portrayed Cindy Mancini, a Tucson, Arizona high-school student, in the movie Can't Buy Me Love.
  Prior to the success of Can't Buy Me Love, Peterson made TV appearances in Father Murphy and Silver Spoons. She had a small role in the 1982 movie version of Annie before getting a starring role in the 1985 film Explorers. In the 1983–1984 season, she appeared as Squirt Sawyer on NBC's short-lived Boone starring Tom Byrd and Barry Corbin.
  In 1987, she portrayed Sunny, the granddaughter of patriarch Joe Gardner (Richard Kiley) in the series A Year in the Life. Later that year, she and co-star Patrick Dempsey obtained teen idol status after the release of Can't Buy Me Love. Peterson and Dempsey subsequently appeared on covers of teen magazines such as Tiger Beat, Teen Beat and many others for a considerable amount of time. Peterson went on to make other movies, none of which have achieved the box-office success of Can't Buy Me Love. Peterson left acting after her last screen appearance in the 1994 film, WindRunner starring Jason Wiles as Greg Cima.

  Bobby Fite (born October 22, 1968) is an American former film and television actor. Beginning his career as a professional child actor and model at the age of 12, Fite is best known for his recurring role as J.T. Martin on the popular 1980s NBC sitcom Silver Spoons, as well as for his feature film roles in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Legend of Billie Jean, and Explorers.
  Bobby Fite was born Robert Nelson Fite on October 22, 1968 to parents Robert and Roselle. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Fite began his show business career as a child model, appearing in print advertisements as well as acting in numerous commercials. With his youthful "boyish" looks and Texas drawl, Fite was often cast as the southern boy, primarily playing roles several years younger than his actual age throughout most of his career as a child star.
  In 1982, Bobby Fite made his television debut with a co-starring role in the NBC movie-of-the-week, The Long Summer of George Adams. Debuting on NBC's Monday Night at the Movies in January 1982, but filmed when he was still 12 years old, Fite played Bill Adams, one of three sons to James Garner's character John Adams, an Oklahoma railroad man in the 1950s, whose job is threatened when plans are made to replace steam engines with diesels. In July of that year, Fite made his feature film debut with a small role as Dulcie Mae's son in Universal's film adaptation of the Broadway musical-comedy The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton. In December of that same year, Fite had a co-starring role in the CBS television movie Miss All-American Beauty. In the film, Fite played Petey Butterfield, the youngest of two brothers to Diane Lane's character, Sally Butterfield, a girl who struggles with her newfound notoriety and responsibilities after winning a Texas beauty pageant.

  Bradley Gregg (born November 8, 1966) is an American actor, director, writer, and producer. Gregg's first film was the 1985 movie Explorers, but his big role came in 1986 in the hit drama film Stand by Me as Eyeball Chambers, the older brother of River Phoenix's character (Gregg and Phoenix had both appeared previously in Explorers). In 1987, Gregg starred in the hit horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors as Phillip Anderson.
  In 1989, Gregg appeared in the hit movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (another film with River Phoenix). He also appeared in the critically acclaimed TV mini-series Lonesome Dove as an Irish immigrant named Sean O'Brien who joins the cattle crew.   Ivey was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her mother, Mary Nell Ivey Santacroce (née McKoin), was a teacher, speech therapist, and actress who appeared in productions of Driving Miss Daisy and taught at Georgia State University. Her father, Hugh Daugherty Ivey, was a physicist and professor who taught at Georgia Tech and later worked at the Atomic Energy Commission. Her parents later divorced. She has a younger brother, John, and a half-brother, Eric Santacroce, from her mother's re-marriage to Dante Santacroce.
  She received her undergraduate degree at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and earned a Fulbright grant to study drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She received an Honorary Doctorate (Humane Letters) from Rollins College in February 2008.

  Danny Nucci (born September 15, 1968) is an American actor known for his role as Jack Dawson's Italian friend Fabrizio De Rossi in the 1997 film Titanic.
  Born in Klagenfurt, Austria, Nucci was raised in Italy until the age of seven, when his family relocated to the United States. His father, a textile machinery seller, was from Italy. He has two sisters, Natalie and Elle. After temporarily living in Queens, New York, the family settled in California's San Fernando Valley, where Nucci graduated from Grant High School.   His roles in movies include White Line Fever, The Terminator, All The Right Moves, Night of the Creeps, Small Soldiers, It Conquered the World, A Bucket of Blood, The Little Shop of Horrors, the Tales from the Crypt movie Demon Knight, Amazon Women on the Moon, Chopping Mall, The Howling, Piranha and I Wanna Hold Your Hand. His best known role was in the movies Gremlins and Gremlins 2: The New Batch as Murray Futterman. He appeared in Pulp Fiction as Monster Joe, but his scene and a few others were deleted because of the length of the film.   Eric Luke is an American writer.
  Eric Luke began his career in film writing. Previous film work included: Explorers for Paramount Pictures, co-plotting the Gargoyles pilot five-parter for The Walt Disney Company, numerous screenplays for MGM and others, and also wrote and directed the latter two films in the Not Quite Human trilogy for the Disney Channel.
  Moving to television, he eventually wrote scripts for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. He returned to television to Executive Produce, Story Edit and script the Fox TV animated series Xyber 9, which later aired on the Toon Disney channel.
  His initial work in comics was Project: Overkill, a story drawn by artist Phill Norwood that appeared in Dark Horse Presents #30. Continuing with the Dark Horse Comics company, he then wrote the entire first series (1995–98) of Ghost, a run of 36 issues. He had also authored the Ghost Special during the summer of 1994.   Dante was born in Morristown, New Jersey. His father was a professional golf player. Dante began his movie career working for Roger Corman, similar to Francis Ford Coppola and James Cameron. He worked as an editor on films such as Grand Theft Auto before codirecting Hollywood Boulevard with Allan Arkush. His first full feature film, Piranha, was released in 1978. After the release of The Howling, he was noticed by Steven Spielberg for whom he directed the third segment of Twilight Zone: The Movie, wherein a woman is 'adopted' by an omnipotent child. His first really big hit, Gremlins, which was also produced by Steven Spielberg, was released in 1984. He would work with Spielberg again on Innerspace and Gremlins 2.   River Jude Phoenix (August 23, 1970 – October 31, 1993) was an American film actor, musician, and activist. He was the oldest brother of fellow actors Rain, Joaquin, Liberty, and Summer Phoenix.   Robin R. Bottin (born April 1, 1959) is an American visual effects and makeup effects artist.
  He was born in the Los Angeles suburb of El Monte, California. His father was a foreman for a van and storage company.
  From an early age he enjoyed a steady stream of old horror films, as well as magazines like Famous Monsters of Filmland.
  At age 14, he submitted a series of illustrations to makeup artist Rick Baker, who promptly hired him. He worked with Baker on various films but his first big solo break was The Howling, where he was called to create an on screen transformation from man to werewolf. This managed to reach the theatres before his mentor's similar scene in An American Werewolf in London.
  After begging cinematographer Dean Cundey to introduce him to director John Carpenter, Bottin was hired by Carpenter to create the special makeup effects for his 1980 film The Fog. Additionally, Bottin provided the physical makeup effects and had a small part in the film as Captain Blake.
  From there, Bottin's reputation grew when he again worked with Carpenter on The Thing. Bottin worked on The Thing seven days a week (including late nights) for a year and five weeks straight. Bottin also worked on the Star Wars cantina scene creatures. He was, in fact, the tallest player in the Cantina band.   Tina Hirsch (born 1943) is an American film editor. She has been elected to membership in the American Cinema Editors, and in 2000, she became the first woman to become president of the honorary society. She is also known as Bettina Kugel Hirsch, Bettina Hirsch and Bettina Kugel.

  In 1999 she edited "A Proportional Response" and "What Kind of Day Has It Been," episodes of the television series The West Wing. For this work, in 2000 she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Single Camera Picture Editing for a Series, and also won an Eddie Award from the American Cinema Editors.
