  Oulu (pronounced [ˈoulu] ( listen), Swedish: Uleåborg [ˈʉːleɔˌbɔrj]) is a city and municipality of 143,988 inhabitants (31 January 2012) in the region of Northern Ostrobothnia, in Finland. It is the most populous city in Northern Finland and the sixth most populous city in the country. It is one of the northernmost larger cities in the world.
  Oulu was founded on April 8, 1605, by King Charles IX of Sweden opposite to the fort built on the island of Linnansaari. This took place after favourable peace settlements with the Russians, which removed the threat of attack via the main east-west waterway, the river Oulu. The surrounding areas were populated much earlier. Oulu is situated by the Gulf of Bothnia, at the mouth of river Oulujoki, which is an ancient trading site. One possible source for the name Oulu is a word in the Sami language meaning 'flood water', but there are other suggestions. Oulu was the capital of the Province of Oulu from 1776 to 2009.
  In 1822, a major fire destroyed much of the city. The architect Carl Ludvig Engel, chiefly known for the neoclassical (empire style) buildings around Helsinki Senate Square, was enlisted to provide the plan for the rebuilding of the city. With minor changes, this plan remains the basis for the layout of Oulu's town center. The Oulu Cathedral was built in 1832 to his designs, with the spire being finished in 1844.

  RMIT University (officially the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) is an Australian public university located in Melbourne, Victoria. It has two branches, referred to as RMIT University in Australia and RMIT International University in Vietnam.

  Paul Benjamin "Ben" Mendelsohn (born 3 April 1969) is an Australian actor.
  Mendelsohn was born in Melbourne, Australia, the son of Carole Ann (Ferguson) and Frederick Mendelsohn. He attended Heidelberg Primary School and Banyule High School. His father is a prominent medical researcher who heads the Howard Florey Institute in Melbourne. Ben and his two brothers Tom and David as well as his mother (deceased), a registered nurse, lived in Europe and the US for long periods of time, and returned to Melbourne in high school. He took drama because he thought it was an easy class, and was the only one of his friends to follow up an audition for Crawford Productions which was being advertised.
  In October 2009, Mendelsohn featured in the Australian series of Who Do You Think You Are? Searching for a connection to composer Felix Mendelssohn which was eventually dismissed, he discovered links to 19th century Prussia. His ancestors were amongst the first Prussian Jews to be naturalised in Schneidemühl in the province of Posen, now Piła in modern Poland.

  Bobby Bright
  Bobby Neal Bright, Sr. (born July 21, 1952), is an American politician who served as U.S. Representative for Alabama's 2nd congressional district from 2009 to 2011. He is a member of the Democratic Party. The district includes just over half of the state capital, Montgomery, as well as most of the Wiregrass Region in the southeastern part of the state. Bright is the first Mayor of Montgomery to be elected to Congress. In November 2010, he was defeated for a second term in the U.S. House by the Republican Martha Roby, a Montgomery City Council member.
  Bright was born in Midland City, Alabama and grew up on one of the cotton farms that were typical of the Wiregrass Region. After spending his youth working on the farm and graduating from high school, he took a job in metalworking to save up money for college. He later graduated from Auburn University with a B.A. in political science in 1975 and took a job as an auditor before earning an M.S. in criminal justice from Troy State University in 1977 and beginning a career as a corrections officer. While working in the prison system, he was deeply affected by the many young people he saw entering the penitentiaries and decided to transition into law practice as a result. Bright received his Juris Doctor from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in 1982. He practiced law for fifteen years before entering into politics.

• Janet Andrewartha
  Janet Andrewartha (born 16 September 1951) is an American-born Australian actress. She is famous for playing on-going roles in two popular Australian soap operas: that of Reb Kean in Prisoner and Lyn Scully in Neighbours.
  Andrewartha was born in California and moved to Australia at a young age. She is a graduate of the National Theatre Drama School, where she met future Neighbours and Prisoner colleague Jackie Woodburne.
  She first came to prominence when she played the role of scheming Reb Kean in the popular Australian series Prisoner. Kean was a lead character on the soap for twelve months spanning the 1984 season, with a brief return appearance in late 1985.
  Andrewartha also acted in the Australian police procedural Blue Heelers as Det. Bridget Ryan. Other appearances include a guest role in A Country Practice, and the telemovie Moby-Dick.
  Andrewartha is perhaps best known for playing Lyn Scully in another popular Australian series, Neighbours, a role she played since 1999. Lyn has working class roots and a ditzy nature, unlike many characters Andrewartha had played previously. Andrewartha initially appeared alongside Anne Charleston who had previously played her mother Deidre Kean in Prisoner.

  Jeremy Leo Kewley (born 16 August 1960) is an Australian actor, based in Melbourne, who made his professional acting debut at the age of 14 in the feature film The Devil's Playground (1976).
  Born in 1960 to Melbourne lawyers Brian and Gretchen Kewley, he is the second of their three children. His older brother James is a barrister, and his younger sister Jodie is a published author.
  While still attending school at Melbourne's Haileybury College, Kewley was discovered by Fred Schepisi and cast in The Devil's Playground and went on to teenage roles in films such as Mad Dog Morgan, opposite Dennis Hopper and Jack Thompson, and the Bruce Beresford film The Getting of Wisdom, as well as television series including Bellbird, The Sullivans and Twenty Good Years.

  Kerry Michelle Armstrong (born 12 September 1958 in Melbourne) is an Australian actress on film, television, and stage. She is one of only two actresses to win two Australian Film Institute Awards in the same year. Initially planned to last 16 episodes, the series was continued and Armstrong appeared in the first 44 episodes. She then switched to another on-going role in drama series Skyways for 49 episodes.   Nicholas "Nick" Paul Barker is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist who formed a Melbourne-based rock, power pop band Nick Barker & the Reptiles in March 1988. Their cover version of Cockney Rebel's "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)" reached the top 30 on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Singles Chart in November 1989. They provided two top 40 albums on the related ARIA Albums Chart, Goin' to Pieces (1989) and After the Show (1991).   Nicholas Paul Barker was the bass guitarist for a succession of Melbourne-based bands starting with The Curse during 1980–1981 and 1982–1983, during the summer of 1982-1983 he played and recorded with Beachouse. Also in The Curse's line-up were Adrian Chynoweth on guitar, Nique Needles, John Rowell and Graeme Scott. He moved to Reptile Smile with Chynoweth and Nick Cross, Rick Hawkins and Tony Hawkins during 1983–1984. Then Freak Power with Chynoweth, Needles and Scott before joining rock, blues group, The Wreckery in December 1985. The Wreckery had formed earlier in the year with Robin Casinader on drums, piano, Hammond organ, guitar and violin (ex-Plays with Marionettes, Horla), Edward Clayton-Jones on guitar, organ and vocals (ex-Fabulous Marquises, Plays with Marionettes, Horla, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), Tadeusz O'Biegly on bass guitar, Hugo Race on vocals and guitar (ex-Plays with Marionettes, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and Charles Todd on saxophone, organ (ex-Wild Dog Rodeo, Cattletruck). Barker performed on their releases Yeh My People (mini-album, 1986), Here at Pain's Insistence (1987), The Collection (compilation, 1988), and Laying Down Law (1988) but had left before the latter was released.

He is the brother of actress Jacinta Stapleton.
