The War in Afghanistan began on 7 October 2001,[17] as the armed forces of the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and the Afghan United Front (Northern Alliance) launched Operation Enduring Freedom. The primary driver of the invasion was the September 11 attacks on the U.S., with the stated goal of dismantling the al-Qaeda terrorist organization and ending its use of Afghanistan as a base. The U.S. also said that it would remove the Taliban regime from power and create a viable democratic state. More than a decade into the war, NATO forces continue to battle a widespread Taliban insurgency, and the war has expanded into the tribal area of neighboring Pakistan.[18] The War in Afghanistan is also the United States' second longest running war. The preludes to the war were the assassination of the Northern Alliance leader Ahmad Shah Massoud on 9 September 2001, and the September 11 attacks in the U.S., in which nearly 3,000 civilians were killed in New York City, Arlington, Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The U.S. identified members of al-Qaeda, an organization based in, operating out of, and allied with the Taliban's Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as the perpetrators of the attacks. In the first phase of Operation Enduring Freedom, ground forces of the Afghan United Front working with teams of U.S. and British Special Forces and with U.S. air support, ousted the Taliban regime from power in Kabul and most of Afghanistan in a matter of weeks. Most of the senior Taliban leadership fled to neighboring Pakistan, some being flown out in the Kunduz airlift. The democratic Islamic Republic of Afghanistan was established and an interim government under Hamid Karzai was created which was also democratically elected by the Afghan people in the 2004 general elections. The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) was established by the U.N. Security Council at the end of December 2001 to secure Kabul and the surrounding areas. This was after the U.S. sought to make sure that it would not interfere with its ongoing counterterrorism initiatives in the country, changing the originally titled "International Security Force" to ISAF.[19] NATO assumed control of ISAF in 2003. ISAF includes troops from 42 countries, with NATO members providing the core of the force.[20] The stated aim of the invasion was to find Osama bin Laden and other high-ranking al-Qaeda members to be put on trial, to destroy the organization of al-Qaeda, and to remove the Taliban regime which supported and gave safe harbor to it. In 2003, Taliban forces started an insurgency campaign against the democratic Islamic Republic and the presence of ISAF-troops in Afghanistan.[21][22] Their headquarters are alleged to be in or near Quetta, Pakistan.[23] Since 2006, Afghanistan has experienced a dramatic increase in Taliban-led insurgent activity.[24][25] Since the coalition intervention in 2001, more than 5.7 million refugees have returned to Afghanistan.[1] On 21 May 2012 the leaders of the NATO-member countries endorsed an exit strategy during the 2012 NATO Summit in Chicago. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afghanistan_war

At least one gunman opened fire at the U.S. Navy Yard in Washington, D.C, this morning, killing several people and injuring others, authorities said. One hospital received three shooting victims -- a man and two women. The man is a D.C. police officer, said Janis Orlowski of Medstar Washington Hospital Center. She said all three victims were alert and speaking. She said their chances of survival were "very good." Orlowski said it was a "very fluid situation" and more shooting victims would be coming to Medstar. She said there were other shooting victims at the Navy Yard who would not be transported to hospitals because they are "deceased." She did not have a number of the fatalities. Orlowski said the weapon or weapons used in the shooting "had to be semi-automatic," based on descriptions by the three people admitted at Medstar. She said they described rapid gunfire at the Navy Yard. This is the FULL LENGTH of the audio from their YouTube channel. It is important to point out that THE AUDIO put ON the Radio Biafra London YOUTUBE CHANNEL (the YouTube LIVE Broadcast) WAS DIFFERENT FROM the mp3 AUDIO put ON their RADIO BIAFRA LONDON WEBSITE. It should also be known that YouTube allows one to upload videos using your smartphone (that is, the phones with the android app) which appears to be the case here. I REPEAT: RADIO BIAFRA LONDON's YOUTUBE LIVE BROADCASTS WERE DIFFERENT FROM THE MP3 AUDIOS ON THIER WEBSITE and this is also why Radio Biafra London had two different links for the 2 different audios on their twitter page: one was a link to their mp3 audio on their website and one was a link to their LIVE BROADCASTS ON YOUTUBE. This contrast must be made.The one from the website is a direct recording while the one initially put on their YouTube channel was recorded with an external device which seems to be a smartphone. The person recording the audio using this device slept off and started snoring. Radio Biafra London's response to this exposure was to delete most of the videos of the Live broadcast in November, and to re-submit another video of this broadcast with the audio of their website-edition (the clean one) . Their explanation for the removal of the LIVE BROADCASTS is that they have they right to delete any video, which is an argumentative fallacy. No one denies them their right delete their videos just like no one denies them their right to fart. It is the motive that is in question. The question is, why did they delete All their videos for the month of November? Answer: They had something to hide, and to be precise, it was THE SNORING BLUNDER. Initially they also didn't know what broadcast had the blunder so the easiest thing to do was to take down all videos for November 2013, and they also knew that if they left all the videos, you might discover more blunders on your own, as the audio of the Youtube videos were poorly recorded. See evidence that they deleted the videos: http://youtu.be/8D9sp_rxR08 But they forgot to delete the video links on their twitter page, which exposed the fact that they deleted the videos. Instead of admitting to this blunder (and other faults/mistakes) so we can move on, what they have now done is to recorded a new video by swapping the audio with the mp3 audio from the website, and upload this new video on YouTube as their YOUTUBE LIVE BROADCAST. This is a terrible lie and the twitter page has exposed them. Nobody is perfect, but they are making a very big mistake if they think they can continue to fabricate lies and get away with these lies. They should do the responsible thing and tell the Biafran people the truth, NOW. It is not too bad when you make mistakes and admit them, but it is really terrible when you continue to lie and lie and cheat to deceive your own people to win.
