A pressure point (Japanese: kyūsho 急所 "vital point, tender spot"; Chinese: 穴位; Malayalam: മര്മ്മം marmam; Tamil: வர்மம் varmam) in the field of martial arts refers to an area on the human body that may produce significant pain or other effects when manipulated in a specific manner. Techniques of attacks on pressure points are called Hyol Do Bup (Hangul: 혈도법; 穴道法) in Korean martial arts, such as Hapkido, Sin Moo Hapkido, and Han Mu Do, and kyūsho-jutsu (Japanese: 急所術) in various styles of Japanese martial arts, such as Jujutsu, Aikido, Tenjin Shinyō-ryū, Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu, Kotō-ryū, Gōjū-ryū, Sekiguchi-ryū, Yōshin-ryū, Kuma-ryū, Kōga-ryū, Attsuuten-ryu kempo-jutsu, and Karate.
The concept of pressure points is present in old school (17th century) Japanese martial arts and is claimed to have an even earlier history; in a 1942 article in the Shin Budo magazine, Takuma Hisa Sensei asserted the existence of a tradition attributing the first development of pressure-point attacks to Shinra Saburō Minamoto no Yoshimitsu (1045–1127).
Runnin' everywhere
From the corner to the square
Goin' up and down around all day.
Lookin' for booze, got nothin' to lose,
Gonna show you what I wanna do.
Slash with fingers, feel my eyes, and rip them from my face.
Got the whole plan think I'm goin' more insane,
As I feel it comin' back again.
Pressure point is building higher 'n' higher.
Chorus:
Walls around me don't seem to charm me,
I've got to change their little minds.
Lies they told me, were lies to keep me here,
And turn around and you will find.
Bars surround me, still I feel free,
From all the madness locked outside of me.
Walking down the hall,
As I bumped into a wall, see white figures all right in tow.
Lookin' for more, so they shut all the doors,
And lock me in fore evermore.
Slash your throat with broken glass,
Get back where you belong.
Never going home, so I carry on alone,
No matter that they're insane.
Pressure point is building higher 'n' higher.
Repeat Chorus
Solo
Repeat Chorus
Since I've been here, I see they're really right,
Lock the madness outside.
Bars surround me, still I feel free,
