Honshu Budget Push Daggers, 4 Inch Silver and Tanto Models
720HD Blade Length: 4 inches Steel: AUS-6 (Says 7Cr13 on blade) Design: Double-edged push dagger Handle: Rubber coated Weight: 2.7 ounces Sheath: Leather with metal belt or boot clip Price: $25 I see these push daggers as variations on a soldier's boot knife. The handle being at 90 degrees to the blade makes it easier to pull out of the sheath and retain in hand, and also more compact to carry. It integrates well with boxing strikes, or to extract from the clinch or grapple. These push daggers are very lightweight, but not flimsy, ok for the low price.

Honshu Combat Fighter and Mini Tanto Knife Review
720HD The Honshu Combat Fighter has a 6.6 inch hollow grind Bowie tip blade. The Honshu Mini Tanto has a 6.25 inch hollow grind tanto tip blade. The steel on both is listed as AUS-8 but they have 7Cr13 stamped on the blades. They have cylindrical metal guards and rubberized handles with skull crusher pommels. Price for each is around $30. These knives are alright, but I like the large Honshu blades better. I could see these knives as light camp or skinning knives (once sharpened up) or maybe for practicing forms. I wouldn't use these for any heavy outdoor or real tactical work, but they do look nice. I think these knives should be cheaper, $20-25 would be a more fair price for these.

Honshu Budget Kerambit Karambit Review
In 720HD Finally, a karambit that isn't super expensive but is not junk either. Blade Length: 4 inches Type: Karambit Grind: Hollow Steel: AUS-6 or 7Cr13 Handle: Kraton coated Price: $32 Notes: Comes in satin or black finish. Ring is oversized and has a thumb ramp that terminates into an impact point. The satin model comes with a leather sheath with a belt/boot clip. The black model comes with a Kydex sheath and shoulder harness. The steel is listed as AUS-6, however "7Cr13" is printed on the blades themselves.

Let's Play: Shogun 2 - Otomo Campaign (Legendary) - Part 34: "Assaulting Honshu"
The time has come I think, to attack the Ouchi (or whatever remains of them) on the mainland of Japan. At the start of the video I pronounce "Tercos" wrong, and I mistakenly state that I cannot make Otomo matchlock ashigaru. These are mistakes that I have since been corrected on (thanks, by the way, to those guys), corrections which will be implemented in all recordings henceforth. This was from a previous recording session from a few weeks ago (before I was made aware of said errors). I have a few more parts to go and then I plan on recording more, I will make an announcement in the first such "new" part regarding all of this. With the... "advent" of this latest DLC for Shogun 2, I decided to start a new campaign. I wouldn't have taken on this project unless I thought I could cope, and I intend to complete this in a timely fashion. It helps that the faction, the Otomo, are well tailored to that kind of a playthrough. A gunpowder and religious blitz. I am playing on legendary difficulty (the hardest, as always), but unless there have been massive changes with the accompanying patch with the intent of taking me by surprise, I think I can cope quite well. ------------------------ Be among the first to like my new facebook page. www.facebook.com then perhaps join my steam group steamcommunity.com before subscribing for more, if you like what you see www.youtube.com and then follow me on twitter for a more reliable sub box. twitter.com

Magnitude 5.5 Quake, NEAR EAST COAST OF HONSHU, JAPAN
More information is available at: global.shakemovie.princeton.edu This video from Princeton Global ShakeMovie illustrates the up-and-down velocity of the earthquake. Strong blue waves indicate rapid downward surface movement, while strong red waves indicate strong upward motion. Researchers at Princeton investigate and inform the public about earthquakes worldwide through Global ShakeMovie, an online portal that shows near-real-time visualizations of recent earthquakes worldwide. These visualizations, which are usually live within seven hours of an event, are based on simulations carried out on a large computer cluster in order to provide information that enhances the public knowledge and understanding of earthquakes.

7.3 earthquake Off The Coast Of Honshu, Japan 12-7-2012
www.youtube.com Blog: nworeport.wordpress.com TOKYO — A strong earthquake Friday struck the same Japanese coast devastated by last year's massive quake and tsunami, generating small waves but no immediate reports of heavy damage. Several people along the northeastern coast were reportedly injured and buildings in Tokyo and elsewhere swayed for several minutes. The earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 7.3 and struck in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Miyagi prefecture at 5:18 pm (0818 GMT), the Japan Meteorological Agency said. The epicenter was 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) beneath the seabed and 240 kilometers (150 miles) offshore. The area was shaken by repeated, smaller aftershocks, the agency said. After the quake, authorities issued a warning that a tsunami potentially as high as 2 meters (2.2 yards) could hit. Sirens whooped along the coast as people ran for higher ground. Ishinomaki, a city in Miyagi, reported a tsunami 1 meter (1 yard) high and other towns reported smaller tsunamis. About two hours after the quake struck, the tsunami warning was cancelled. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center earlier said there was no risk of a widespread tsunami. Aiko Hibiya, a volunteer for the recovery in Minami-Sanriku, a coastal town devastated by last year's tsunami, said she was at a friend's temporary housing when the quake struck. "It shook for such a long time," she said. She said other volunteers who had been in coastal areas were evacuated to a square and a parking ...

The Japan Meteorological Agency says the earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.3 struck in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Miyagi prefecture at 5:18 pm (0818 GMT) Friday.
